Watch out for all the sugar you're ingesting. Better to counter the craving by loading up with multi-vitamins (especially B vitamins) and omega 3 oils!. I wish you well with your pregnancy and subsequent delivery of the bundle of joy!

I have a question does the marshmallow have to be hot. I bought some already melted marshmallows but I don't know if they have to be warm when adding the cereal.
@@EllieMendez 9 months later and I’m replying to this reply. It has to be hot for it to melt. Once it’s melted all you do is throw in the cereal and boom 🤯 😱 you mix and wait for the marshmallow and the cereal to cool. So it turns hard, obviously.

I wanted to make some rice krispies treats, but thought it was too complicated. However, you showed me how simple it could be! Thank you so much for sharing!
As you suggested, I added chocolate chips after adding the rice krispies, but the chips melted! Although that wasn't necessarily a disaster, it's not what I was going for. Apparently, the mixture was still too warm and it ended up being chocolaty rice krispies treats. I kept going according to your instructions, but I almost panicked this being my first time making these! LOL!

I’m not pregnant because I’m a kid. But since I moved to Brazil I’ve been craving this for the past year.
Pro Tips:
If you add peanut butter make sure you add it to the melted marshmallow mixture BEFORE you add Rice Krispies. Add melted chocolate to the top to make even more delish ;)
For an even better treat add caramel pretzels, sea salt and chocolate to the tops. Super yum and perfect for that sweet n salty craving.
Instead of coating your hands to smash down the Rice Krispies, use foil, wax paper, parchment paper, or even a coated cutting board that will fit the pan or another pan that fits perfectly. Make sure your coat the board or pan with something non stick.
You could cut the recipe in half to manage the amount of cereal you need to mix. And then add the 2 together in the same pan. I hlf on one side the 2nd in the other side.

Just made these recently, I'm gonna cut back on the vanilla and butter next time. The mallows have a lot of flavor on their own. Although, I suppose its up to preference. Still, good recipe and video. It encouraged me to actually try this.

Adding the peanut butter to the melted butter and marshmallows before the krispies makes it combine a lot easier. I love adding craisins too. They taste just like PB and J.

I've just read a recipe where you add 1/3 to 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk before adding rice crispies and they will stay soft and not harden up like they do sometimes. Haven't tried it out yet. Just an fyi.

Best way is to just wet your hands with water and the treat mixture won’t stick to your hands while you press / form your RK treats.
