bro,i just one small help from ur experience,my baja 1/5 petrol 29cc,before incident happen its was losing power after that it wont start and i try to change carburettor and it wont 10minit after that same thing happen loss power,now cant start also.i already change coil,pulg,filter gas,carburettor.I need you help brother
Hello. Thanks for reaching out. Have you opened her up yet? Slow power loss is wear and tear inside. I will check the piston ring. Could just need a new ring.
You will have remove the cylinder. Then take the ring off the piston. Stick it back in the cylinder and push it up a little using the piston. Then check the ring gap. Shouldn't be more than 1mm

Thanks - Rebuilt my Baja motor 2011 and have done 100s since. In regards to your 1:1 scale - I doubt its a 2-stroke. Hahahaha. I'm afraid my view will be the same as the layman. My expertise is limited to 5th Scale. I'd be happy to have a look though. 😎
I have experienced it. Both had problems with the ignition system. I suspect that a spark plug issue will probably cause a short circuit that will stress the module and cause it to fail. In such a case, the engine suddenly died even though it was running normally until just before, and it will not start at all.
If the engine still turns and her was no major dust sucked into it, what I will do #1 is change the plug. If that doesn't work then I will take the head off and check the ring.
I’m having issues with my redcat buggy 2stroke it’s stressing me out sometimes it will run then bog mid high rpm and just not work for like 3-4days untill I come back. It runs amazing hits rpm does everything it should but after it won’t start the first 3 pumps after bogging down…it also won’t start a 70% of the time within the first three pull even fighting up the idle a wee bit to get airflow when starting it still nothing …I’m frustrated and trying my best and it’s annoying
Howzit man. So number one. Have you seen our carb tuning vid? I can't stress this tuning tip enough. Idle screw all the way in and then.set the idle with your LEN(Low End Needle). Also, always make sure your filter is clean and oil it with 2stroke not air filter oil

I have a problem with my rovan, I was running it couple weeks ago, I didn't notice the grass was wet and there was some water I believe that was the problem, but know it's pretty hard to get it on, and keep it running, when I press the gas doesn't run and just sound like shoots of smoke, if I don't press gas just turn off, any idea what's the problem?
Hi mate. Was running my hpi blackout mt and it cut out, when checked pull start was siezed, took it apart and flywheel sometimes turns and sometimes siezes again, got spark and fuel, when turning by hard seems free the stuck solid next couple of turns, any ideas if you can help? As soon as it gets stuck or something sounds off like in this video I would not turn the motor again. Most of the time that motors get stuck like that is the coil that came loose. Best way to check if it is internal issue, is to take the fan cover off and the clutch bell. Check that the coil is running free and the clutch. If they are then its internal issues.
Probably caused by the excessive vibration from the broken and unbalanced flywheel, I can almost guarantee that fly was the cause. It would have also caused excessive wear on the pin as the crank twists
It has a 7mm E-Clip that holds it, that's it. If it still doesn't come off, its stuck and you gonna need some force. It normally just slides on and off.
My 23 CC engine will only run very lean settings, and on very lean settings it will not rev, instead, it will die and it will not run at factory settings, and if it does run runs for a short period of time and then conks out
@@elidunk8989 have you recently changed carb manifolds or gaskets? It is not very common for a car to only run when lean. My first thought is vacuum hole on the manifold. Is it open all the way through?

Can you put a 36cc crank and piston and head on a roven 29cc?

Water won't really cause this problem. Have you checked out our video on tuning?
The heavy smoke suggests carburetor problem.
@@EZR so do you think i have to remplace the carburetor? Or just clean?
If you have applied all the tips I gave in our tuning video, then a carb service or replacement will be the next thing I would do.

It was the Half Moon pin for the flywell it Sheared completely in half which made the timing off
Sometimes there is not enough time going into assembly then it costs people so much more. Thanks for watching.

Very good performance from this combination.
When he keeps the throttle down the revs just keep climbing.
My Baja is very stable, starting immediately with one or two pull starts after choking.
That's where you want it. Smooth. Keep it lubed and she will be happy for years
