I’ve been fishing a St. Croix 8wt switch rod for pike and musky for many years and love it. I won’t go back to a single hander for big flies and big fish.

I’m geeked about the game changer rods. I’m using a very heavy dead weight 8wt and it does tire me out after a day of casting so I’m an owner of a game changer.

Big fan of you Brian and Blane, the explanation of the loading of this rod is perfect, can’t the same be said for other rods like Spey rods as well as trout/bass rods. Fast rods for the sake of being fast doesn’t make it a great casting/fishing rod.
