Caught my first Muskie on fly rod last weekend. I'm so hooked. Fishing nothing but Muskie now. Was like catching my first fish again as a kid.

Blane is a great teacher. Articulate and easy to listen to! My wife can toss the shit out of a streamer because his big streamer casting lesson.
Agreed! He is amazing and we are honored to call him friend. Thanks for being here.
There is just something insane about Musky. You spend hours upon days chasing a fish that just doesn't want to eat.. Your entire upper body is on fire. The bite is probably going to be underwhelming.. the fight for a fish that size is Ok at best. In a sport of odds and probabilities, it is WAY down on the list in "don't get too excited" territory. And yet, we keep digging.. taking ourselves to an unheard if level of discomfort in the sport for that one special moment. I don't think it is about defeating the fish... it is about defeating ourselves.
Excellent explanation. It is an obsession for sure.
I will love to meet you guys at least ones in a life time !
Thanks for that and we certainly hope so!
Reading between the lines from these videos with Blane; it sounds like there is some new stuff from SA and TFO on the way?!
Would agree with that! Thanks for watching.
Hahah love this guy
Thanks for being here.
Looking for a good recommendation on a good set of waders.. what's your opinion?? And do you do you prefer chest or hip waders? And what style sole do you normally use for your boots? I fish the Ohio Great lake river systems if that matters.. keep up the good content
Thanks for being here. Please contact the shop directly with those questions and they will be happy to help.
Is that a new version of the Esox coming soon? I want to get one but if there is a new one coming out, Ill wait!
It appears so. Most likely next Fall. Feel free to call the shop and discuss. They would know more.
Looked a great day, great river .... I'd love to see it in summer. Am I ignorant if I say that is a pike?
Thanks for watching. The title of the video is "Musky Fishing with Blane Chocklett".
Awesome vid! What is the game changer rod? Is it a TFO product ?
New TFO rod series coming for 2022. Stay tuned.
Nice
Thanks for watching.
That’s what’s up
Thanks for watching!
Brian, what weight rod did you use? Also, what type line?
Thanks for watching. You'd have to contact Brian directly through the shop and he'll be happy to help. We don't have that information here. Send him an e-mail or give him a call.
Killer!
Thanks for being here.
I think Brian cheated. They say muskies are the fish of 10,000 casts and I think Brian's probably about 9,500 or more short. Nice video guys and who knew Virginia had Muskies. Do you know if they are an introduced species or native? Keep the good stuff coming.
Thanks for watching. He didn't cheat....just good editing. Feel free to contact him at the shop with questions. He'll be happy to hear from you.
From what I hear they are native to West Virginia and stocked in Virginia. But I'm sure some native populations exist in Virginia.
What river were you guys fishing?
Thanks for watching. You’d have to check with Brian directly on that. We don’t have that information here. Give him a call or shoot him an email and he’ll be happy to help.
What jacket Brian have on?
Feel free to check with him at the shop. Sorry but we don’t know. Call him or email him and surely he will know. Thanks.
How long was it? 45?
Thanks for watching. You’d have to check with Brian directly on that. He can be reached at the shop via phone or email.
@@Madriveroutfittersit doesn’t matter, fish of a lifetime
♥️‼️🎯
Thanks for watching.
Game changer rod...??? 👀
You heard it here first!!!!
I'm definitely interested in one of those rods. Please keep us posted Brian. Great video btw
Yeah Brian, I'm sure that was your "final" cast of the day...
It actually was....we were there. Thanks for watching.
@@Madriveroutfitters I get it, whatever makes for a good story! It's all about the clicks :)
Ever been bitten?
Not that kind of channel.
There was zero mandolin in the soundtrack.
Sorry about that but thanks for watching.
im you
And you are me and we are all together! Thanks for watching.
Hello, Mister I just watched your vid 101 or so on the fly fish for beginners and you just did here what you said there not to do. So how is that; how should that be? you forced the cast with your whole arm from 9 in back to 3 perhaps farther in front.
Thanks for watching. Casting a 15-18" Game Changer Musky fly is a bit more than "basic fly casting 101". It is explained here in this video:
