1. He titled the video something along the lines of "A game that respects your time".
2. People malded. Someone posted along the lines of "have you gone mad? This is the last game that respects your time". The comment was very popular and got massively upvoted
3. Editor/Asmon changed the title of the video. He also shadowbanned or deleted said comment.

The "respects your time" title is a MMO meme from when Stoopz made his original lost ark video. Sounds like the editor was making a joke likely implying the opposite based on this and people freaked out when it went over their collective heads.

For people that don't understand the tech in this game or haven't played it yet: the reason he wasn't killing anything in one shot is because he wasn't using the ballistic capped shell. He was firing a solid shot, that much like a bullet sometimes it just goes clean through. Instead if he used the APCBC (Ballistic capped shell) the shell would have detonated inside the enemy tank, killing almost the entire crew while also detonating the ammo rack.
Also, later on he uses a Sherman tank loaded exclusively with high explosive shells, 66 of them to be exact, which doesn't need any more explanation on why that is just wrong. 😅
That’s aside from the fact that he kept hitting the tracks or gun barrels rather than the sides and rear loll
@@_BippityBoppity_ to be fair, the game doesn't really tell you to shoot soft points/weak spots in armor unless you watch the loading tips religiously. I love warthunder but it doesn't tell you if you just hop into a game you need to play the tutorials and shit to get detailed info.
APCBC is still a solid shot type shell; it has a hollow cone shaped tip at the front of the shell that sits over a (relatively) flat shape that the shell has: the round you are looking for is APHE, APHECBC, APHEBC, or SAP (Semi-Armor Piercing) which is just an HE round that was given armor penetrating capabilities

A common mobile game ad formula is showing something that seems very easy, and likely is, yet the person doing it struggles, and have some text about people struggling with it etc. It motivates the viewer to want to "fix it", do it better, show that they can do it, or to see if it is actually difficult or not. It somehow triggers engagement.

1. lower your ammo when going out.. take like.. 40 ammo (if you have more ammo, it takes up more ammo space inside your tank and if you get shot in the ammo, your tank explodes)
2. There is no friendly fire in the game, but you can be killed by bombs dropped from an allied plane, or friendly artillery
3. gotta be aware of BR (battle rating) if you go into battle at a 3.7 BR, your other 2.0 tanks are gunna get wrecked,, but you Can still play well with them, it just puts you at a disadvantage
4. when you were fighting the panzer iv near B, you shot his Commander,, you have to kill his gunner to keep him from shooting (he killed your gunner, when he shot you, since your crosshair icon showed up stating your gunner was dead and you were moving crew around to get your gunner back)
5. press B to use binoculars and get a more zoomed in view of terrain and tanks (then switch back to gunner/shooting mode)
6. a Lot of your issues can be resolved by selecting the best ammo (which most of the tanks you played here need to play the game and Research the ammo to unlock the good/best ammo)
7. for the LOVE OF CHRIST.. stop just holding W and driving into like 10 enemies... Get behind a building, pop out.. shoot them, and then move back into cover...
8. you have basically the worst tunnel vision i have ever seen. LOOK AROUND before you drive into areas... with binoculars and just.. looking around.. you seriously just look at a cone of like 20 degrees in front of you... ,, look at 360 degrees... at least every now and then

this is the hardest game ever. You have to know every weakness and the advantages of every tank/plane that you face. after thousands of hours, I'm still feeling that this game is as enjoyable as it's been in the early days. Maybe now it's even more enjoyable after researching many nations, so there are more lineups to play with
We know this is sponsored video it's pretty obvious but as a big WT fan it's pretty funny to watch, when u have over 1k hrs in WT and being my most played game on Steam it's easy to forget how much of learning curve this game has, definitely not newbie friendly lol. Takes awhile to get good, and there is not rly anything else similar to it it's in the league of its own.
Going back to I recently completed my US air tree so I started Russian air at Rank 1 and, my man, it was a glorious and rather short winded climb to Rank 4 in a matter of a few hours. It was wild to see how much I had learned.
It may take a few hours to get good, but he just completely not see like half of his screen. And he has played this for several hours now. This isn't just bad at the game, it's bad at observing.

I had someone yelling at me in 4.0 because I'm a level 45 and started going down the USA tree. I mained Russia for years and wanted something new. Apparently it's unfair for 4.0 players to use a 2.3 plane and have hours in the game... the player base is hilarious.

this game requires more brainpower that asmongold can field, they must be paying him well.
Tips, don't go into battle with a full load of ammo because of a few good machine gun shots and BOOM🤯, ground realistic battles don't show the red names for enemy players just a red arrow or eye icon above them that flashes when shot/spotted or marked by team, to use planes in realistic to need enough spawn points, the higher the Battle rating (1.0 or 2.7) will effect the tanks you'll be fighting with / against, and most important, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
It’s crazy how Asmond doesn’t realize he has like $700 in GE. He can buy the tech trees he wants to play and use GE to spade whatever vehicles he wants. Truly a winners win moment

Watching asmond basically play as a spectator while uptiering his stock tanks was pretty funny. You need someone experienced to give you a 5 minute prep talk/run through and carry you a bit. This game has a very steep learning curve but is fun once you are past that, as long asyou don't chase the super modern stuff which is aids to play usually.
You guys will never understand how it was like to buy a console for the opportunity to play your country (Italy) in a ww2 videogame for the first time ever, only to realize why your country doesn't usually appear in ww2 pvp games. I didn't had a "gaming experience" I had a journey. More than 2-3 years later I am still grinding the Italian tree and I am not even close near the end.

Italy in Steel Division 2 is actually not that bad. Yes their tankettes are outdated, but can still be useful if used smartly. And yeah, Italian planes are VERY good. (In war thunder also) And then we got the Italian SS death squads with Beretta 38s. That being said though, never trust Italy. Betrayers in TWO world wars.

as an avid WT player. this just proportionally shows what majority of the AB and RB tank games look like especially in NA. And make NO MISTAKE. this isnt a dig at asmon in anyways. if he had fun thats all that matters. But it puts into perspective what its like playing this game when its supposed to be... You know... A "Team Focused Game" majority of players will be "Clueless & Unaware" No matter how far you climb. you still get them.

It happens, for me I was able to adjust smoothly because I played a lot of World of Tanks console since 2014 on the 360, and in 2019 finally got a good PC and got War Thunder, so it was easier for me to learn plus most WT players played WoT before so for them aswell but in Asmon case he only played rpgs and WoW

Asmongold I’ve played this game off and on the last decade essentially.
I will give you the best advice I can because I helped a friend start and he’s at 6.7 right now with USSR just in the last half year of play and my girlfriend is at 5.0 with China.
1. Never carry more than 25 shells of your first ammo type.
always carry shells labeled APCBC/APHE/APBC in the first slot with 2-3 HE shells in second slot.
2. When you research tanks always arrange the tank slots in order of the tech tree columns and replace each vehicle in the slot with the next one down on the tech tree column.
3. Play around in the hanger looking at other countries tanks. Each tank has different armor and different guns. The Armor values can be viewed in the hanger and you can simulate hits on any tank in the game with your own tank ammo so you can see what will and won’t work.
4. If you are new to the game let your teammates go ahead of you because they will get shot at first and it makes it easier for you to pick off enemies.
5. For the love of Christ never ever run shells labeled AP ever. Some tanks you have to use it until you research the actual good ammo in the modification screen but even for veteran players they will say pure AP shells are awful. AP is basically just a glorified cannonball with no explosive.
Everytime you died you were hit with a APHE or APCBC round which is why in the kill cam the round went in your tank then exploded inside the tank.
6. Try to have the Battle Rating of every vehicle in your lineup be as close as possible. If you have a 3.7 tank as your highest in the lineup try to keep your other tanks at 3.3 or 3.0 minimum. Ideally all with the same br.
7. You can be uptiered or downtiered in matches. If you have 3.7br as your highest you can fight 4.7 tanks with you the lowest br in said match or you can fight 2.7 in your match with you being the highest. The variance in match br is always within 1.0br difference or less.

I wish they would fix the game TBH. It's so unbalanced, tank penetration been broken for awhile, same with Bombers (completely useless in air battles). The game USED to be great but this balance has really ruined it. Also it has pretty aggressive monetization, which I used to not mind when the game was good, but now it's annoying AF.
They need a mode that has RB settings with sim maps and respawns. The size of the map would allow you to actually do something with a bomber.
I know they have the "operations" in RB but they are soo random and there is no respawns so once all the smooth brain RB players die in the fur ball the game ends and you cant do jack shit for bombing or the orders.

Stopped playing War Thunder last year due to cheaters. Veterans said I was a soy boy. Two week later "War Thunder banned 40000 Players". Tried these days again and seemed fine.

You need a perfect balance of light, medium, and heavy tanks in your roster with one anti-aircraft truck and one tank destroyer in your roster as well..... And the tank that your using is a light tank and your in Battle rating 3.7

This is fine example of adverse publicity for WT. WT is very hard and unpleasant game for newcomers, and amount of pay aspect is so huge.

@@Zemlja_je_ravna tbh once you understand the UI its really not hard. if you just play it like any fps game you'll do fine. sure you have to learn where to shoot, but at low br if you at least knew how to shoot then you'd get lucky and still get a few kills. asmon literally doesnt even know how to shoot and he is blind as a bat. tanks can be hard to spot sometimes, but there were tanks like 200m away from him moving and shooting and he didnt see them
its so funny that he plays with 1.0 tanks vs 4.0 and wonders why he stands no chance :D
Unfortunately, this is not a game that respects your time. this is the kind of game in which there is a lot of pain and suffering, just like in WOT, and when you finally suffered enough, accumulated research points and silver to buy the tank you wanted, you realize that nothing much has changed with the new tank, and your pain just continues.
this is painfull to watch for a veteran player. i know its his third hour in the game or something around that but i just see a streamer getting paid for promoting the game and not trying to quit it after every battle. he is not even trying to think or understand the basics. at least make him complete the basic tutorials next time, its putting the bad light on the game. but yeah its ad so i guess its working anyway

As someone with 150 hours put into the game before it became too tedious and unrewarding to play and that's with premium time: The actual experience is much worse and if anything he's giving the game a lot more props than it deserves.
Being P2W and PVP automatically makes it a pretty weak game. Having sky high prices on digital goods(We're talking thousands of USD$ for 1 tank) puts it in the 1/10 category. If you disagree... I'm sorry for your wallet you poor fool who is so easily separated from your money.
@@Rolow69 i have spent like 20 dollars for my whole experience over like 7k hours of playing, the learning curve might be hard but you can see he is not even trying. like he thinks just because he hits someone he does dmg to him. it might be even more than 4 hours of gameplay in and he is still at this point. i love asmon im watching him since 2016 but this is just no effort for some money for game he cant give a single F for. i hope he moves on from this and do the regular content soon

Asmon's playing about the same as anyone else with 4 hours in the game. That is, like he has no idea what he's doing. Speaking as someone who remembers hour 4, the difference between penetration and kills didn't really click until I was incorporating machine guns more and lit up a spaa's engine wondering what circle of hell this immortal truck crept out of. Second belt, aimed for the crew, wham bam, all came together.
War Thunder the type of game you can NOT afford to skip the tutorial 😂. As a long time player/sufferer this was pretty great to watch NGL lol

My biggest recommendation when playing this game is just to play realism first its just so much better
Asmon, lower your ammo numbers, you do not need 100 rounds for tank, 20-30 max. You lower the probability to be hit into the ammunition which is mostly IK... I have only 15 shots at the top tier... and mute the music...

it was a mistake to put the m24 in the lineup in the beginning. it increased his br so his lineup is lower tier than everyone else. do make sure your lineup are of similar br or atleast can reasonably fight at the br of your highest br tank

Played this game back when I'd just gotten a PS4. The tank combat was fun and in depth then, and seems like it's only improved since then
so now I know to stay far far away from this game. L tor Asmongold and the devs.
So with war thunder, if tyou hit a tank it doesn't mean they take damage if you can't penetrate their tank, you can damage stuff like tracks, machine guns, barrels, transmission, and so on, but it doesn't mean you kill them fully lol

As a WT player plzzz someone get asmond to learn about
1. Angle your tank a bit.
2. Learn about ammo types.
3. Look at your tanks weak/strong points
4. Go to settings and turn on hide grass through optics.
5. Max his crew lvl 😂 hes got the gold for it.
6. Have fun, any more info and it might be more work than fun for him. Also he should play with WT youtubers like phly or spook and more.
