      Let's come together and do it inspite of the leaders. The revolution will start at grassroot level. We will build industries across Africa , buy and sell among ourselves within Africa. They will not be able to stop this quiet revolution and eventually the leadership will also change to reflect the values and mindset of the people. Its a generational thing but we will do it.

      We in the Caribbean do a lot of food processing..like canning..bottling..drying..where I'm from..we export a lot of our products to our neighbors..Venezuela included..
      And that's just the start....we have good relations with Ghana i know for sure and have helped them in their petroleum industry...
      If the AU would look to us over here..instead of these countries that only intent is to milk the continent..we would be happy to come and share..and it will be good for us to finally reconnect and identify with where we came from and whose we are..🇹🇹

      I mostly agree but most of my friends are still alive so her friends must have been eating wrong and under stress. In fact most blacks our age are still alive but yes the stress is real. Though I must say I never felt a connection to Africa when I went to Kenya - but I loved the people but when I went to Barbados and have been many times I felt I am at home.
      And no the Queen doesn't own the land that your home is on! What she is talking about is if you own an apartment and it is leasehold - the leaseholder owns the land but you own the apartment like what I have. However, if you own a house you own both land and property outright.

      forget about the government its becoming a broken record. we know what it is. we know that they are puppet masters, we should all come together and unite and put the finances in Africa instead of working like a slave in The West. The system in the West is not built for us

      Congrats on the 3 years in Africa success. It was made possible by the capital you built up from UK. Genuine businesses suffer in Africa for lack of capital. Also in the presence of capital, lack of experience will scuttle success. Glad you made it.

    You couldn't get that in Jamaica because Jamaica is none of us spiritual home! I will always love Jamaica 🇯🇲♥ it is where I was born and raised

      That's true. My husband is Jamaican and he said it's 21mil for a scheme house. That's a joke! We want to buy land but have you seen those prices - it's impossible 😢

    • @nubiansis4440
      @nubiansis4440 2 года назад

      The cost for land to build your dream home in Jamaica is no joke.....not to mention the houses that are new developments are like 42-60 million JA dollars upwards for two-three bedrooms homes. Ridiculous!

    • @BarberLoveFamily
      @BarberLoveFamily 2 года назад

      @@nubiansis4440 I've seen those homes. It's not worth it at all. My cousin is currently buying a house and land for 10mil. She said you need to be local to get local prices. I may just get her to help us buy one... if that's allowed.

    • @nubiansis4440
      @nubiansis4440 2 года назад

      @@BarberLoveFamily Yeah, I say get her to help you get the local prices. They are known to up the prices for things in Jamaica if they know you are a foreigner. That's just the belief that if you are a foreigner, you have a little more to spend. Living in the west.....Jamaican born & bred, but I may expat to Africa even though Jamaica will always be my homeland. Right now Jamrock is lil too pricey for me. Good luck on your house hunting in JA.

      @@nubiansis4440 We are torn to be honest. I would rather live near family and friends. Most live in Jamaica and the US. Africa is way to far. That's why we are leaning towards Jamaica. We are alone in the UK 😔.
      Wishing you the best on your house hunt too. 😊

    This is a beautiful story - please do not be discouraged because of negative people. Such people are small minded and never accept or imagine or even wish to see anybody prosper. We have so much catch up to do in Africa. Please pick the best and run with it. As they say in Swahili: panda dju: go higher!
