I just moved to Rwanda with my two young sons a week ago! I wanted my sons to see men being respected who look like them. I also knew that we had better options for living and did not have to settle with the crap that comes with living in the USA. Just being here is healing for all of us. There are things we miss about the States, but the more the days pass the more this feels like home. THIS IS WHAT WE NEED.

This makes me so emotional. What’s more beautiful than seeing black people returning home where they truly belong. This video my day as someone who lives in America but every single day dreams of returning home. I hope they stay in Africa forever and won’t get discouraged. Raising a black family in America is the ultimate psychological torture so happy to see they escaped that. I wish them all the best.
Also you can’t fault African Americans for being miseducate on Africa. Every thing African Americans have learned about africa came from white Americans as they don’t control the culture or educational system. Why would whites have any intention or desire to portray Africa in a positive light to African Americans. That context is very important instead of being judgmental. The miseducation will require a few generations to get rid of.

I agree. People are miseducated about Africa around the world and I believe it's by design. However, I would not say that most African Americans believe all of these lies. We KNOW we are being lied to and many people don't believe the western media; especially concerning Africa and the diaspora. What is so important to me about Wode Maya's videos is that he shows us the side of Africa we knew the media would not show us. It's hard when you are fed lies that you know are lies but don't have any other perspective. These videos give me another perspective....one told by Africans. I watch as much as I can.

You are a brave mom, salute to you🙏 the propaganda of media try to tell people how Africa is Bad and go to the villages tellingsome bad videos and show whole the world, hunger, war etc... but better to go there and your own eyes and how Africa is beautiful and people are friendly.

This mom is so in my heart when she said she saw her her grandmother that she lost at age 7 .
I had that same pain at 7. I get that and she said the people’s faces remind her of warmth 💕 they look familiarly in vibrations that is inner healing for me . She said they look like people “ She has fond or family emotions with I get that also. These spiritual energies started a vibrational alignment on the plane . Wow See I have to visit soon. I have a May 2022 visitor coming to Ghana my child is so excited. I can’t wait for that report. I will subscribe to view more mom & son. Sending light & love 💕
