Anyone thinking of a BBSHD upgrade kit worldwide (UK here) I can 100% recommend the HV kit, it’s incredible and worth every penny - had mine 5 months now and it and the ongoing support is totally unmatched anywhere else. I am thinking of ordering this kit, but had one question. I currently have the daniel neilsen 33a firmware and my bbshd will get so hot it starts to thermally throttle itself back. i turned the amperage down to about 27 amps, and if i stay on it long enough it will also thermally throttle at 27a. Would you say thats normal? I will have to maintain high amp draw for extended periods to get it hot enough to thermally throttle, but still, its only 27a?? Maybe the daniel neilsen firmware is not well optimized? How hot does it get with the high voltahe kit. Thanks for any insight into this heat issue. Cheers.
