I believe that they updated those sensors. You will need a special socket to remove it. And a different special socket to install the new one. On some vehicles not sure if it is all of the mopars
Thanks for the help. I have the same issue. I am 99.9% sure it’s that issue. Would you suggest it’s important to do? Or wouldn’t effect the car if I chose not to do this?
Shit don't feel bad I went through three of them already and same thing check engine light still on now I got to get a diagnostic check done on my Dodge Dart 🤬🤬
This helped me out! Ty from Pflugerville, Texas.

I actually just left it alone, no issues.
@@DropTopPerformance so it's ok to drive on it til you can fix it?
You wont pass smog if you dont fix it
Thanks , great info.
About oil temperature sensor, where is it located?
And dodge charger srt 6.4 2014, does it have oil cooler? Where located?
Same thing happened to me buddy thank you 🙏🏽
I hope it fixes the issue!
I have the same code showing. I switched that sensor and the car still doesn’t turn all the way on. What else might it be?
Did changing it turn your check engine light off ?
Got this code along with sensor reading 99 PSI. Replaced Sensor and a week later same code but with a consistently lower than normal PSI. Any help?
Same here. Then I fixed a 2nd time then a month later same code again but this time sensor read back str8 99 again
Check with manual gauge. Possible oil pump spring issue
Make sure you're replacing the sensor with an original mopar part.
I’ve changed my sensor, but the light is still on. What should I do next
Did you clear the codes? Did the check engine light come back on?
I had to unhook the battery leads in order to clear the codes.

What is regular oil pressure suppose to be at ?

I changed my buy it's still showing the same
