Don't forget their VERY BEST tune. "It's a Long Way There". And.....Oh yeah Jay....The violin hits you right at the very front. So does the harmonies. And it is their very best bass groove. And the best guitarist that no one ever talks about. Did I say it was their BEST?
That line, ' I had a lady one time....' hit me hard. My wife and I saw LRB in 81 I think when we were just dating. I lost her this year to illness after 41 years together.

No, they are not at all underrated. They were massive in the USA; their sales would've made them huge Millionaires. They were huge in their homeland Australia before they went and conquered the USA. People who claim certain Artists are 'criminally underrated band' have no idea about history and facts. "Diamantina Cocktail' was the first Australian album to reach Platinum sales in the USA. I've seen a lot of comments on You Tube, whereby people claim an Artist to be 'criminally underrated ' when they aren't. It's like saying that THE BEATLES were 'criminally underrated ' It's ridiculous and dumb.
Yes they are. I'm not talking about their sales in the 70s. I'm talking about the way they are perceived now. No one mentions them when they mention classic 70s bands.
“Lady,” Little River Band stuns in 1980 with their pristine vocals and sweet melodies of this touching love song that manages to make us feel special every time we hear it.
Reminiscing is my favorite.. that and lady. They all are great. I would love to see them in concert. My favorite band .. since I was too small to know the meaning of the words
Beautiful choice from The Little River Band. Each of their songs offer a wide variety of wonderment. Keep going, lots more. Lonesome Loser.... next pick. Amazing vocals. Great reaction.Buckets of Maple Syrup love from Canada ❤️ ❤️ 🇨🇦🇨🇦

I used to sing this song in karaoke to someone I loved very much. She's no longer around, but when I hear "Lady" by Little River Band, I'm reminded of how special she was. I love you, Dawn...
People ask what the Beatles greatest influence on music was. Simple. The harmonies. Queen, Little River Band are top tier in that regard for sure, but no band harmonized like the Beatles.
I love that you really get it with this older music. Watching you two listen for the first time brings me joy. My mother would dance in the living room to this song. You're right that the 70's had the best harmonies.

Hi Jay and Amber, one of the songs from The Little River Band I recommend is "Reminiscing" It's a song that John Lennon's wife Yoko Ono said was his favorite song from the 1970s. The other songs from The Little River band that are great is "Help is on the Way", "Take it Easy On Me" , and "Night Owls" Glenn Frey from the Eagles said this was the best singing group in the 1970s.
