Just got this. Why do the power ups feel sooo weak. Its painful compared to the old games up to Delta. I'm playing on R typer difficulty if that matters
Is there anyone else besides me that would never be able to complete this game without using slowdown mode (let alone being on the Practice difficulty)?
While this is an R-Type game and looks great, it sure as hell does not play like one. R-Type is one of the hardest shmups there is, and this game looks quiet. Weak. Not questioning your gameplay here. I can just tell, the devs went real soft on the difficulty. R-Type is a game that requires time and patience to beat.

r-type final 2 is good but r-type final 1 is epic. can't compare both games at all. the first r-type final is memorable, awesome. this is just good.

Play some bullet hell shoot em ups or Ikaruga and Radiant Silvergun and then tell me they are all the same
