Nvidiun is great. Here is some constructive criticism. It will sound better if you do the whole voice over on your good mic then the parts where you want to talk with the outfit you can just act it out, it will make it eaiser if you put the audio on a speaker/phone and you can just say the words too if you remember it. This will keep all the audio consistent and high quality without sacraficing your input with the costume and green screen.
Thanks for the suggestion! I will continue to improve on the quality of the mask segments but I prefer to use a different mic as I want there to be a noticeable and genuine difference to the plague doctor coming on screen, I know it has its quirks right now, but it helps break up the voiceover and saves me the time of having to re-record each time the voiceover doesn't match up to the plague doctor footage!
@@HonkinGooseGeek Minecraft isn't "made" for Nvidia. Nvidia simply has better OpenGL optimizations (OpenGL is what Minecraft runs on), though ever since the 22.7.1 AMD driver update the pure raster performance is much more comparable. Where Nvidia differentiates from AMD (in regards to Nvidium) is it's OpenGL extensions related to mesh shaders. Whilst AMD do technically have mesh shaders they haven't implemented them on OpenGL.

Optimization mods really make a difference, but you need a bit of those to optimise every single aspect of the game.
@@PlagueDoctorGoober Like I can get around 140fps at 128 chunks! I need to understand why the max amount of VRAM selectable in the Nvidium settings is around 4GB though, since my GPU has 6GB it's not nice to see that Minecraft alone is using 17GB of RAM when there's still 2GB of VRAM free
Another awesome mod for far render distances is Distant Horizons. It adds in a functional LOD system, a mechanic every modern game uses where things that are far away are less detailed than things that are up close, cutting down the amount of resources used for them immensely. Minecraft does not have this, so every structure within your render distance is rendered fully textured and with all of its polygons, making far render distances cost exponentially more resources despite these details being unnoticeable at faraway distances. With the mod, you can easily hit render distances well above 200 chunks without much of a performance hit, with the loss of detail only really noticeable if you zoom in with optifine
there's this mod that imitates the view you get from higher view distances, its called distant horizons, it's still in beta but it works surprisingly well if you don't pixel peep

Would've been neat to see how it works with shader support 😁I usually use shaders (also in vr) but not all performance mods play well with that😅
But yeah, will probably try it myself and see how the performance goes 👀 (the inconsistency in your measurements could be because you arent using the exact same camera angles 👍
unfortunely it doesnt support shaders, and I also agree my measurements could use improvements
Haha, your video presenting style is somehow very fun
Thank you very much
Nvidiun is great.
Discovered this one on my own and I fell in love with it!
Amazing mod!
do not appreciate the AMD slander >:(
Minecraft is made for nvidia, it’s not that AMD is bad
@@HonkinGooseGeek Minecraft isn't "made" for Nvidia. Nvidia simply has better OpenGL optimizations (OpenGL is what Minecraft runs on), though ever since the 22.7.1 AMD driver update the pure raster performance is much more comparable. Where Nvidia differentiates from AMD (in regards to Nvidium) is it's OpenGL extensions related to mesh shaders. Whilst AMD do technically have mesh shaders they haven't implemented them on OpenGL.
I expected this to be another performance mod that just made the already good pcs better, but i installed it and OMG. I used to play with 15 chunks for a 60 - 55 fps framerate, now, im playing WITH 32 CHUNKS WITH ALMOST NO LAG!!! thx so much for this vid
Youre welcome! Glad to help
I have intel GPU 🗿
😩
@@PlagueDoctorGoober xD
new go-to performance mod for mc, thanks mate
Ofc! 😎
Nvidia Gang!
5:18?? Unplayable that’s my fps with optifine and 9 chunks render distance and 6 simulation distance and all particles off???
😭
Bro is wearing THE MASK also cool video you have big future
Thank you! Masks are 🔥
Wtf why does this video only have 500 views, you deserve more
Thank you! Who knows where it might go with time
Your ability to respond to almost all comments the second they're posted is impressive.
I TRY MY BEST
Sometimes I eep
The kid who sits next to me in geography class told me he made this mod. Don't think I believe him.
Cortex made it! Wonderful person
@@PlagueDoctorGoober yeah I know cortex made it, this guy is claiming to be cortex.
@@idoblenderstuffs idk that's pretty convincing 🤔🤔 unfortunately there's one problem I see here. Cortex goes by she/they pronouns
@@PlagueDoctorGoober yeah that pretty much rules him out then lol
0:49 you should definitely say "i want mommy i want milk i want to be held i want to be comforted" in that voice
😭😭😭
I discovered Nvidium before seeing this video, and while alone it makes a big difference, together with like other 15 optimization mods or even more it works AMAZINGLY, literally taking my average fps while playing at 32 chunks from 250-300 fps to 700-800! Optimization mods really make a difference, but you need a bit of those to optimise every single aspect of the game.
Oh yeah combining nvidium with other well known optimization mods makes an insane difference
@@reden_fx even then that's not bad at all
@@reden_fxwill nvidium with sodium make my fps highrr
Good shit bro this is a banger keep up the good work
Thank!
you did convince me to try the mod you did your job !!!
Awesome!
Highly Underrated Channel Right here.
Thank you so much
awesome video m8, just subbed to u rn
Thank you so much!
I LOVE THIS MOD SO MUCH TOO. I GET SO MUCH FPS WITH IT OH MY GOD
WOOOO
I absolutely adore your outfit, plague doctors are my favorite.
Plague Doctors are just so captivating
Absolutely! Love distant horizons, thanks for the insight
max was probably that moment you started the game with nothing on screen
good point 🤔
Bro that clothing is so cool!
Thank you!!
I thought this would have like 30k likes but yiu are crazy underrated.
Thank you!!
Ooo. I needed this for VR minecraft. I always found Sodium harsh for loading chunks compared to Optifine.
Im happy this mod has some use to you!
there's this mod that imitates the view you get from higher view distances, its called distant horizons, it's still in beta but it works surprisingly well if you don't pixel peep
I love that mod! Thank you
i tried it recently and its literally insane how big the performance boost is...
I know right?!
can't wait to use this
Hope you have fun
this guy is already too good hope you reach a million in a close time
Thank you so much!
Mojang:" we care about the performance of our game"
my pc: (on fire)you sure about that
😭
underrated performance mod :3
theres also methane, imagine fullbright, but you get a lot of fps.
Sounds fun!
I hope at some point they can make it work with shaders, at the moment not being able to use them with this is a deal breaker. Still, very impressive mod and very useful for those who don't use shaders!
Both very good points! Hopefully one day we'll see shader support!
Me while watching this video: This youtuber must have at least 100k subs.
*checks the sub count* 4.4k subs
Me: *pikachu surprised face*
Comments like this make me so happy
Me, watching this while my PC sounds like an airplane engine literally just watching this and not doing anything else: hmmmmmmmm... I might, MIGHT try it out
MIGHT?!
high quality video from underrated youtuber? i thought it was imposibble..
Thank you!
nuts how you still reply to comments a month after you released this video, that's impressive. Keep up the goob work goober.
Thank you! What can I say I see a notification, so I respond
I need the FPS Counter, I can't find it anywhere. Could you please send a download link to where you found that FPS counter? I don't want to press F3 to see my FPS and stuff. Thank you if you will!
And thank you for showing the Nvidium mod!!
Totally forgot to add it to the description! But it's there now, thank you!
@@PlagueDoctorGooberthank you very much for adding it! And you're welcome for the reminder ^^
Been using vulkan for a while, i havent used nvidium bc i was scared off by the description, but I have been keeping my eye on it for months now
I don't blame you it did the same for me
