- In this video you can enjoy the cab ride - train driver's view from Miramas to Marseille-Saint-Charles on the famous Côte Bleue railway/Blue Coast Train in 4K/60 frames per second.
The Miramas to l'Estaque line, also known as the Côte Bleue line, is a standard-gauge French railway line that provides an alternative route to the Miramas to l'Estaque section of the Paris-Lyon to Marseille-Saint-Charles line, passing through Port-de-Bouc and running along the Côte Bleue.
With its incredible architecture and exceptional landscapes, it’s a legendary railway for good reason. The construction of the Côte Bleue railway, between 1907 and 1915 required 18 stone viaducts, 2 bridges, and 23 tunnels. The railway offers a stunning journey through a rich landscape where several works are listed as 20th-century or historical monuments.

Merci David, pour le partage...👌
@+... Pour la suite 😉
@gargamel91 Hello! You are very welcome. I agree with you, arriving in Marseille is not very nice.
from L'Estaque to Port-de-Bouc, in my opinion, the most beautiful SNCF line. I walked through it several years ago: PLM mechanical signals (Semaphore, Square, Stop Handlebar etc.), Caronte Viaduct, etc.
@Luigi-uj5ml It is very beautiful, agree.
Bonjour Monsieur . Salutations respectueuses .
@patriceroulleau6438 You are welcome. Thank you for the compliment. I will continue to travel and film the beautiful lines. I love to travel along the new lines and to discover different parts of the world. And I hope that in time he garbage problem will be resolved.
Excellent video and picturesque railway-line! Many thanks!
@montgomeryscott1656 Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
Buona giornata e buona Domenica.
Ciao.
@DavideZerillo You are welcome. Buona Domenica anche a voi.
Your cab rides are the most beautiful ever
@paulgenta4819 Thank you very much for your kind compliment. I means a lot for me.
Thank you for the great trip to France's blue coast. 👍🏻 Best regards 🙋🏼♂️
@AG-il7hn Glad you enjoyed it.
Very nice relaxing ride. So much so I fell asleep twice sitting in my computer chair. Thanks 😅
@thom3124 You’re welcome 😊I hope your computer chair is comfortable.
thanks for all your cool vids. keep up the good work!
@mikezard1311 Thanks, will do!
Stupenda linea. Bel video
@cordialifetecchie Grazie.
Thanks for this great video.
@hamster0815p Glad you liked it! Thank you very much for your support. It helps me to create more similar content.
Wonderful sceneries on this trip too
@RailwayVideos. Indeed.
Nice water views too !!!🥸
@sellier-bellot22 Yes they are!
nice "laid back" trip! thank you
@ronboff3461 My pleasure!
@patrickp8883 You are welcome.
Line from Miramas to Marseille never seen! at least not the blue coast! Nice scenery, perhaps in the rocky seashore of Mediterranean Sea. What a rubbish in Arenc Mediterranee, close to Zaha Hadid tower. i like the diesel engine of SNCF 76250.
@wladislaw79 Very nice scenery along the Blue coast. Too bad for the rubbish along the line.
It's a beautiful rail line along the Mediterranean Sea.
and It is an interesting line with historical remains too.
but Arenc Euroméditerranée station looks a little scary . . .😨
merci beaucoup!👍
@xeneelik5037 Yes, you are right. Thank you for your comment.
Sensational choice if the line to show.
@rikardlalic7275 Thank you. I loved it. Such a beautiful line along the coast.
Incroyable ce cabride
@MaxouTransport-gz4rt Merci
Piękna trasa, dziękuję
@jankoserdeczny8571 You are welcome.
@jean-michelquintaux It sounds dangerous. I am happy that you could visit it again on this journey.
@@RailRelaxation thank you, i return next year at the same place in february for my birthsday!!!
@jean-michelquintaux Great.
nice video
@recidivistSS Thanks for the visit.
Grazie.
@bruno68berretta53 Thank you very much for your support. I really appreciate it. It will help me to keep up with the new content.
Video molto bello, complimenti !
@paolopetronio8260 Thank you very much for your comment and information.
@nobelitaly1024 It is a very nice line, and, I agree, the last part with a lot of garbage is not so pretty.
Génial, merci beaucoup !! 😃👋
@michelmerle911 No, not yet. I did not film the-opposite.
@@RailRelaxationOK. I thought. Thank you !
♥!
@mintaka57 Thank you!
@juliengirard1934 Thank you for your compliments and, I am sorry, but I don't know what caused the braking.
@julosx This journey is very beautiful. The views to the Mediterranean Sea are just beautiful.
👍
@bolesawkukuniek1605 Thank you.
I thought it would be faster, not much faster than in Croatia, even slower on some routes, a dont to forget to mention even on some tunnels we can see garbage, which is surprising to me. Good looking scenery but Dalmatia trip is more beautiful.
@croatian_1 Thank you for your feedback. I have to admit that I didi not like the garbage too.....
I really have only one question after watching your excellent train video. I had some time to kill before going out for a 10 pm music event. It is kinda related to ending up in Marseille. Well, you probably didn't need all that info, BUT... are there good Blues Bands in Marseille? Surprisingly (at least to me) there are some here, about 100 km south of Mexico City in Puebla. My first language is American-English. I now speak and use Mexican-Spanish daily since 2015 and I find about an even split on the lyrics/letras sung, cantado for Blues. I'm up there in years, only got to Intl level B2 in French, so I also find this info relevant for you too. Gracias por tu video. RT sends, envía, envoie, und sendet. Colonia Centro Histórico, Puebla, México... Danke. I'm 3rd generation German-American from Hamburg, New York... probably not relevant either.
@RTWest-kn5fr Thank you for your comment, I don't know the music scene in Marseille, sorry. Greetings to Puebla, Mexico.
Nimes - Ales - Clermont-Ferrand ? Carcassonne Limoux ? Les lignes de Haute-Savoie (Annecy Annemasse ; St Gervais Annemasse ...) ? Strasbourg - Saint-Dié - Epinal ? ......
Bonne continuation
@raphaeldelannoy4805 Thank you for your suggestions. I will put them on my to-do list.
When are you going to get some hoodies, T-shirts and mugs etc. for sale?
@berniemcguire7988 I am working on it. Will let you know.
@@RailRelaxation yeah a hoodie with your Rail Relaxation emblem would be superb!
Do the graffiti artists in Marseille take scaffolding with them?
@chrisstradling2535 🙂
Merci
@johnturley8621 You are welcome.Enjoy watching it.
@antbal9367 Thank you for your comment.
VERY SURPRISED BY THE WEEDS ALL ALONG TRACKS THE FRENCH DON'T SEND OUT WEEDKILLER TRAINS LIKE HERE IN THE UK,ANY CHANCE OF UK RAIL JOURNEY'S ON LONG DISTANCE BY LNER OR AVIVA WEST COAST LOMDON TO GLASGOW OR EDINBURGH
@user-cr2wx5uz7o I was told that the SNCF is not using weed control any more because of the environmental reasons. I will go to the UK too, not sure when though.
@manfredstuiber9809 That garbage is not a thing you should see along the tracks. Agree.
@MrLagonBleu I agree. The garbage on the line is too much.
Hello👋
@giovannipaterno2330 I wouldn't know, sorry.
