Thank you, it's rare to see a Uriah Heep reaction. David Byron had one of the best vocals in rock history.... Check out the song July Morning live 1973... it is the right month for it :)
The Uriah Heep epic, July Morning, is a must hear for you guys. It has everything that made Uriah Heep special. David Byron turns in a great vocal, and it too has lyrics that hit the heart. It's soft, it's heavy, and the mini moog solo that closes out the song is off the wall. Incredible performance by all involved.
Soy español y en los años setenta era muy joven y era un gran seguidor de uriah heep, escuchábamos sus canciones a todas horas, sobre todo uno llamado Salisbury una maravilla, os aconsejo escucharlo, saludos
Excellent band! They had several big selling Top Ten albums here in Canada 🇨🇦 in the 70s. Demons and Wizards, Magicians Birthday and Sweet Freedom were all big Top Ten albums here. 🇨🇦 I had them and loved them. ❤
People keep saying the live version is best. Not true. The studio version is the best. Byron’s vocal is better, and Manfred Mann’s mini moog solo at the end is intense. The live is good, but not quite to the level of the studio take.
One of my favorite Headphone 🎧 albums in college 1972-1976 😍 the whole album is great, Uriah Heep some of the best of the 70's Peace✌️ and Love❤️ your 70 year old forever hippie Gary😊 the art on the album cover is XXX rated!😮 check the waterfall 😂
Another song that David Byron sings very well is "Rain" on the "Magicians Birthday" album. Roger Dean also did the album covers for the Welsh hard rock band Budgie who used the same producer as Black Sabbath. If you want to hear some powerful early hard rock listen to "Napolean Bona Part 1 and 2. on the Bandolier album.
I was a teenager when Uriah Heap came abut and my mother had just bought me a new stereo and I went straight out and bought one of thete albums. My absolute favorite song is STEALIN. I think you'll love it I wouldn't steer you wrong. ❤❤❤
Love the Band Love the album, When I was a lead vocals in a rock band in the mid 70's we played this song! Many told me I sounded like the lead vocalist David Byron which made me feel great. Many Memories of those days I will never forget! Peace and Love as always!😁
This was one of my dear departed brothers favorite bands. We wore their albums out in the early 70’s when we were teenagers. Thanks for the memories! Love you!
Salisbury is a great progressive song. It is about 16 minutes long. But if you are into Uriah Heep ballads they have quite an extensive catalogue through their entire 53 year career. Try "If I had the Time", "Stealin", "Illusion", "The Dance", "Free Me", "Waters Flowin".
I agree it was short, but it sure packed a ton of magic and inspiration. I knew you guys would love it. That's why I requested it. Guaranteed more to come.🥁 BTW, what is your Beagle's name? The live version doesn't this one justice. Not many groups sound better or just as good as their studio versions. Has everything to do with the technology of live recordings back before 2000. Just my experience as a musician with decades of live recording performances. It's come a long way
Phenomenal band. Demons & Wizards are over the top. The line up with David Byron vocals, Gary Thain bass, Mick Box guitar, Ken Hensley keys and Lee Kerslake were phenomenal. Unfortunately Mick Box are the last man standing but still touring. RIP the Rest. Simply love the voice of David Byron and the harmonies. The cover art are by Roger Dean. He also did The Magician's Birthday and Sea Of Light. And work for Yes, Asia and others. Check out Circle Of Hands, Rainbow Demon, Traveller In Time and All My Life.
YEUUUP… TOO SHORT. BUT THIS ALBUM NEEDS TO BE PLAYED IN ITS ENTIRETY, 8 SONGS OF PURE PERFECTION. RECOMMEND HE SHORTEST SONG ON THE ALBUM, EASY LIVING. ALSO FIRST SONG ON THIER PREVIOUS ALBUM, LOOK AT YOURSELF. I NEVER GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT URIAH HEEP. ROCK ON 👊🖖
Glad you like the artwork for the cover, it was done by Roger Dean who did most of the great album covers for the band Yes. There is also a little bit of naughtiness in the upper left corner if you look carefully.
I bet you'd like John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band. Try songs like "ON THE DARK SIDE", "TENDER YEARS", "WILD SUMMER NIGHTS", "GARDEN OF EDEN" and "TOUGH ALL OVER". They have an awesome sound!!
Too short. You should find the time to listen to "Salisbury" from the album "Salisbury". It's just over 16 minutes long and, IMO, one of their best songs.
Uriah Heep were good, but not in the same league as Zep. Love this track mind. Had all their earlier albums, but they fell away, alas. The Lemon Song please! x
I grew up with these bands. Thanks !

Never gave Uriah Heep
much listen too. Glad to take a chance on this one. 👍🔥🎸 and look forward to hear more.
This one takes me back. I loved Uriah Heep so much. Their music had such a positive message.
One of my first albums. I was a freshman in High School. Im 67 now 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧Still sounds good doesn’t it.
Sounds amazing 😍
Every song on this album is great. It's a perfect album. IMO, their best . 🙂
Agree
My favorite song is Salisbury, from the album of the same name. So much to discover in this song. Luv you guys.

@@MerchantOfAlba You're welcome and Love from Arizona!
Always loved this song
You need to listen to their first album, Wake Up is a master piece and their version of Come Away Melinda. Keep up the great music.
CIRCLE OF HANDS
Saw them, July '72, but it wasn't in the Morning.
Dig deep into UH's discography and you will blown away and taken into another world. I did in 1972.
Stealin must be next for Uriah Heep 🤘🤘
You guys should have done the video version of this one.
This was one of my dear departed brothers favorite bands. We wore their albums out in the early 70’s when we were teenagers. Thanks for the memories! Love you!
Much love from Romania 💚
Man oh man alive...this brings me back to the 70's again.......what a group !
For a beautiful, pensive ballad, try their song, "Rain". I know you'll love it. Thanks for this. I had this album.

It sounds like you might be advocates of critical thinking.
Keep it up ✨️🎇🔆
Love this song
I had that exact same vinyl record album when I was a lot younger😂
Ty for reaction! Fun song. Has always made me think of 'Wondrous Stories' by Yes. Agree too short.
Circle of Hands
I saw these guys open for Rush in 1978. Heep is still around
If you want something longer .. check out Paradise/ The Spell from the same album .. it's a masterpiece
Or "Salisbury"
Try "Sunrise" or "Sweet Loraine" by this group.
Believe it or not they are still touring, another great track to check out is Look at Yourself. 🤘
Woe, that is great! 😃
Excellent album.
THE ART OF ROGER DEAN (ALSO OF YES ALBUMS)
Lovely. Thank you 😊

This was great! Thank you once again 😀...Arnold the beagle 🐶 Love and peace from both of us 💚
Another Brit band that doesn't get mentioned enough, along with Hawkwind and The Groundhogs, good reaction as usual 👍👍

Listen to the long Uriah Heep song "Salisbury"! It's their epic.

The artwork is done by Roger Dean who also did covers for the band YES and others. He was the guy at the time.
Oh, that's great! Thank you. I'm going to check him out right away 👍😃
@@MerchantOfAlba You are welcome.
Gypsy and July morning are great songs too. Gypsy has three great intro riffs and July morning really shows off Byrons voice.
I love them, since I was young. Try the song 'Stealin'. It's my favorite and you will love it too. All the best for you 🍀👏
Glad you like the artwork for the cover, it was done by Roger Dean who did most of the great album covers for the band Yes. There is also a little bit of naughtiness in the upper left corner if you look carefully.
Oh, thank you. I'll check it out right away ☺️
Ken Hensley was great.
That album defined my music taste for the rest of my life. Try The Spell. frmo the same album.
I bet you'd like John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band. Try songs like "ON THE DARK SIDE", "TENDER YEARS", "WILD SUMMER NIGHTS", "GARDEN OF EDEN" and "TOUGH ALL OVER". They have an awesome sound!!
Stealin' is their best song...Yes, that is the cover of the album...
Better rockers around that time was Triumph from Canada.
Try MAGICIANS BIRTHDAY from the album another story
this band is underestemated
Come on England !
Too short. You should find the time to listen to "Salisbury" from the album "Salisbury". It's just over 16 minutes long and, IMO, one of their best songs.
They have a live version
This song is fifty years old, lol.Still better than the music they consider as such now.
Hi, guys!! I Will appreciate You react to Carina León, Tennessee Whiskey, please, You will enjoy it. Thanks!!

You should listen to gypsy and come away Melinda.
Andre and Natasha you will love it ❤️ Peace ✌️ Gary 😊
And yet another great 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧band…the 70’s was like a production line of brilliant bands…why did it go so wrong?
Right? So many great musicians came from there in the 60s and 70s! Amazing 😍
Uriah Heep were good, but not in the same league as Zep. Love this track mind. Had all their earlier albums, but they fell away, alas. The Lemon Song please! x
