In the early 70's l was in college studying Comercial Art, l bought a lot of my album's because of the artistic covers, YES and Uriah Heep was some of my favorite's, of course the music was as good as the art work!😂 Great Reaction👍 Peace 😊✌️and Love your 70 year old forever Young Hippie Gary 💃 😀 🕺
Uriah Heep we're a big influence on Queen, that's where Queen get the vocal harmonies and dynamics! Bird of Prey by Heep is such an example. All the best 😊
I first saw them live in 1971in Glasgow when still at high school saw them every tour up to the Sweet Freedom tour. David Byron was one of Rock's greatest vocalists.Loved them up to Return to Fantasty. Demons and Wizards is my fave.
Saw them iin the 70s as the opening act for Rod Stewart Poor Rod.... He got blown out of the venue. Amazing group and I still listen especially the live version off the 1973 album !!
A great Singer David Byron and a Genius in Lyrics Ken Hensley. Uriah Heep one of the great 4 of the 70s (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Uriah Heep). But it must be 5, because The Who belongs to them.❤Great Music. Greetings from🇩🇪

This may be my favorite Uriah Heep album
they are an underrated group but they have a rich repertoire of true gems
A Morning or Mourning...I bought this LP when I was about 15. One of my favorite bands. Love bands that incorporate the organ .
The entire Magicians Birthday album is fire.
Just think how lucky we were .......this was our teen age music...............The Floyd, Zepp ,Santana, Moody Blues and on and on and on..... :)
Really good album and song
Loved this entire album!! I bought it back then when l was 15 years old ❤❤❤

Roger Dean is the artist for the cover. He did Yes' Fragile and many other prog rock covers. I used to buy any album with a Roger Dean cover.
the titelsong of this album from Uriah Heep
" The Magician's Birthday' is with near 13 minutes very long but definitely it worth to react to it
The Heeps were a constant ingredient of my upbringing. Love them, one of the many underappreciated gems of the 70's.

I saw them live so many times. You want a long song? Do "Salisbury". Beautiful.

You were born too late❤
You need to check out Circle of hands from the Demons and Wizards album

Also have a song with a Orchestra combine. Song Salisbury
Magicians Birthday about a Demon & Wizard shooting Spells at one another during Guitar 🎸 Solo and Drums 🥁.
