All songs from the Nightwish show in Wacken festival 2013 or Wembley 2015 or Tampere ..... or Buenos Aires ... Maybe " Ghost Love Score " or Dark Chest of Wonders. Greetings from NW army - , Sweden
My wife died end of last year... this song cut right through all the barriers I'd built up to cope, left me emotionally bleeding and raw .. but also left hope and a way looking forward ....
It's about people who have passed away but are seen again in the daily things we do. They are always with you in everything you see and hear. Greetings from the Netherlands.
This is the most mellow track on the album as Tuomas wrote it about his father who passed. But he intends it to be joyful. Nice to hear Tuomas play a prominent role plus Troy singing harmony with Floor.
This song was written by Tuomas after his father passed in 2021. My mother passed recently, and the lyrics and Floor's beautiful, soft vocals bring tears to my eyes every time I listen to "LanternLight.." I believe that the instrument you are hearing at the end is Troy playing his Irish Bagpipes. Troy also is the male voice during the song...I just love his voice, and he is a master of so many musical instruments! I think....and I could be wrong...that Troy plays one of his stringed instruments using an Ebow to create the sound that sounds like a Cello. Glad I found your RUclips channel!
Nightwish doing Nightwish things (thanks to Chase Carneson for that quote). I could not classify the band into any genre even if I had a gun against my forehead. All I know is that they tug on my heartstrings every time, and I love it.
My personal song of the year 2024. Top 3 in my NW rating. Whatever guard you have up, when Floor's voice comes in she cut's thru it like a fresh sharpened butcher knife and get's you right into your soul and while your bleeding out you feel satisfied. When Floor goes into her emotional mode you can sleep in the finnish winter outside in the woods and still be warmed by her voice and feel comfortable. Much Love from Germany to you and your passionate reactions!
Lanternlight is breathtakingly gorgeous ❣️ Not able to listen to this with dry eyes, it goes straight to your soul. It’s so fragile and strong at the same time. What a gorgeous piece of music composed by Tuomas and so emotionally sung by Floor. Tuomas said that Lanternlight is a song of love to celebrate live of the people that passed. In this case mainly his dad. My favorite song from the new album followed by An Ocean of Strange Islands.
Pure Floor. I love this song. Btw, this song was Floor's pick for a single, it made her cry when she first heard it (I had the same reaction to this song, it's so touching). Tuomas lost his father a few years ago and he wrote this song out of that emotion. The message is to enjoy life, as it's beautiful and should be celebrated instead of grieved when it ends. Nightwish is their own genre and no other band comes close to the level they are at. Never, in the history of music entertainment, have a set of skills and talent collided in such powerful manner. Tuomas is a true genius as a composer and with lyrics.
The album starts with the projector sound as well starting it up and in this song it runs out. I think that the best song from this album (for which there's an official lyric video) is An Ocean Of Strange Islands. Imo it's also Nightwish's best song ever. Also Lanternlight is the exception on this album and not the rule, so you'll hear the other band members on all of the other songs
sorry what sense does it make to talk continuosly over a song asking questions to themselves and making meticolous observations instead of trying to understand the feeling the song evokes?
What other videos should I do reactions to? Let me know@

An ocean of strange islands off the new album is pretty much the best thing Nightwish has ever done, and its exactly what you are looking for.
I would check the album out - it is excellent.
The whole album is on RUclips

Another Nightwish masterpiece! Magic from The Metal Mozart!🎸🤘
Floor's vocal talents are such a gift to us the listener. And her pairing with the talents of Nightwish have created some of my favorite music ever.
