Nightwish Army, NYC brigade. Half of our fun is watching others hear Nightwish for the first time, which is why you'll suddenly pick up a couple thousand subs. Floor's voice has some magical quality to it, no question. She brings people to tears, gives them goosebumps ... but always leaves 'em smiling and wanting more. A mesmerizing presence on stage; you can't not watch her. There are no bad songs. If you want to hear stuff unlike anything you've heard before, there's "Perfume of the Timeless" and the lyric video of "Shoemaker". (A tribute to Eugene Shoemaker, a NASA scientist whose ashes were sent to the moon - Nightwish has a scientific bent, as you'll learn when you watch "The Greatest Show on Earth".)

And as you have surely noticed, although they are all outstanding , none of them standout Well, except our Valkyrie Goddess, ofc. Nightwish is their own genre and no other band comes close to the level they are at. Never, in the history of music entertainment, have a set of skills and talent collided in such powerful manner. Tuomas is a true genius as a composer and with lyrics!

Indoor arena gives an extra punch of intimacy for every single soul under the same roof on a event like this. Nicely done män, again, and don´t you forget to keep on rockin´ with them! Floor is Dutch for Flower and the reason the dutch word for Flower came to mean the ground inside a building in the Americas is The Dutrch Tea Company ran the sugar plantations in the carribean and the the tiles in the buildings were usually in a flower pattern and they started calling all grounds inside of building the floor and by the 1800's it spread to North America.

I would request - after you now had a lot of bangers - a very sensitive song, and probably most intimate one. Floor means Flower in Dutch. I HAVE listened to her voice all day! Many times. Tuomas is pronounced "Too-oh-mass". Commonly in Finnish if there's a dipthong (double vowel) with two different vowels, you pronounce both separately. Your favourite Nightwish song will usually be the last one you heard!

Unfortunately, I don't like female vocals in anything heavier than pop. And Nightwish is no exception. But there were times many years ago (18-20) when I was driving in a car with friends who were crazy about Nightwish. Be aware that 18-20 years ago Nightwish had their first singer, Tarja Turunen, who was very operatic and I didn't like her voice so ignored them until I heard Wacken 2013 with Floor singing and then was sold but only when she sings.
