Missing the Album Yeah (2006) in your discography. It is a studio album. Your ranking is pretty good. My ranking would be a bit different, but each to their own. Well done - thumbs up!! Def Leppard when I heard the song "Rock Brigade" on the radio, I knew they would be VERY BIG!! I have all their studio stuff except the 2015 album, which I am hunting down based on your comments - thank you and I have pre-ordered the new 2022 album, which I am impatiently waiting to receive. Hope it is good.
I am a big fan, saw them live, in an early concert just after Rick came back from his accident. It was an exceptional concert and Rick was awesome - didn't miss a beat!! (No pun intended). They played their asses off and it sounded great. Rick has my utmost respect and admiration for figuring out a way to be one of best drummers ever. Bandmates sticking with him throughout the whole ordeal giving him the support he needed, just shows how much they dig him. Great band with great people in it. Buying their albums and going to their concert to support them is a worthwhile endeavor. Can't say that about every band. Def Leppard is a Great Band who has eclipsed everything I thought they would become in every way!! I am extremely happy for them!!

Great Stuff Mate! I discovered them June 9th 1980 at the Tucson Community Center opening for Judas Priest. For me, the drumming of Rick Allen & Pete Willis was the core of the bands essence. When Pete left & Rick had his accident it had a big impact on the bands music for me. I've always enjoyed the 1st 2 albums so much more than the rest but am glad to see those 2 events didn't have a detrimental impact on the bands career. I work in the concert production industry & have worked many of their shows from 1987 to present. I can tell you they are all doing well.

For me Pyromania is the best. I love that album. The thing about Hysteria for me (just my opinion I respect yours) is there are a number of overplayed radio songs on side A. Pour some sugar on me, Animal, and love bites just to name a few. I never need to here Love Bites again. However, side B has some AMAZING songs also, so I generally would rather listen to that side. High and Dry is #2 and Hysteria would be #3, still amazing album and like you I have a lot of memories with the record. Thx for another awesome video.

Great work on ranking all the albums my friend. I saw Def Leppard in 1983 right after they graduated to headlining status in Knoxville, TN. Great concert supporting Pyromania. They opened with Rock Rock Til You Drop and Joe had the signature Union Jack shirt on. Love Pryomania and High n Dry. I don't deny that Hysteria is a great album and put Leppard into the statosphere. But, for me, the record was too polished. Bought Adrenalize too. Good album. And the song White Lightning is an incredibly haunting track with the (then) recent passing of Steve Clark. That was pretty much it for me as it wasn't long after this album that Nevermind came out.

I just turned 14 and my mom bought me Def Leppard's Pyromania, which had just come out. They were much more into 70s music, and my mom said "I wasn't even sure if this was your style or not." But, like you, I wore out the needle wearing out the record. I love the band. I've seen them in concert on a couple of occasions over the last couple decades. They still sound wonderful.

Pyromania was the first album I ever owned. Lots of nostalgia for me. It was actually on tape. Hysteria came out when I was in high school and I was obsessed with it along with the 1987 Whitesnake album. Still love them both. Adrenalize came out when I was in college. I think it’s underrated but not as good as the previous two. Although there are some good songs in the later years, I only own those three Def Leppard albums.

Not a bad ranking and I agree that Hysteria is a great and well put together album! Here is my rankings as well as favorite tracks on the albums.
    1. On Through The Night: Answer To The Master & Overture. Don't care these are freaking masterpieces and super underrated! I love everything about them! And yes the whole album is killer and I love every track! I also love the rawness sound of the album.
    2. High 'N Dry: Switch 625 & Lady Strange as well as On Through The Night. With that said there is not a bad track on the whole album. Those are just my favorites.
    3. Pyromania: Billy's Got A Gun, Die Hard The Hunter & Stagefright. Killer tracks as well as the rest of the album!
    4. Hysteria: Women, Gods Of War, Armegeddon It. Just really not a bad track on this album either! And this album holds a lot of memories for me as well. As I got into Def Leppard in '87, '88.
    5. Aderenalize: White Lightning, Heaven and others. This is another great album and to me the last good album that the band produced. I do like other tracks scattered on the albums after this one. But not every song.
    6. Euphoria: Can't really pick a favorite track on this album. But it is pretty decent.
And that is it for me as the other albums don't do much for me. Like I mentioned, just certain tracks on different albums.

    10. X (No love for Scar? It might be the only good song on that album. It sounds like something that could have been on both Hysteria and Adrenalize)
    09. Songs From the Sparkle Lounge (Love Go, think Gotta Let It Go and Hallucinate or decent, then just some okay songs in Cruise Control, Only the Good Die Young and Come Undone)
    08. Slang (I think the singles from this album are cringey. I love Turn to Dust & Pearl of Euphoria, like Truth?, Deliver Me and Gift of Flesh)
    07. Def Leppard (Shockingly decent.
    06. Euphoria (I could flip this with Adrenalize. I thought Def Leppard was at least getting back to being somewhat a semblance of what they once were when this came out. I'm shocked you never mentioned the song Paper Sun. I think this is a Top 10 song off this album and maybe the best song after anything post Hysteria. Day After Day, Kings of Oblivion and Disintegrate are all really good tunes. Back in Your Face, Demolition Man and Promises are all decent.
    05. Adrenalize (I give this a bit too much love because of the era. Tear It Down, White Lightning and Tonight are top notch. I Wanna Touch U and Stand Up are decent. Let's Get Rocked is the cringey version of Pour Some Sugar on Me of 1992)
    04. On Through the Night (Had I listened to this album prior to 1987, this probably would have been a spot higher. Pete Willis was the man. Great partnership with Steve Clark and great riff guy.
    03. Hysteria (Based on nostalgia only for me. I love songs like Gods of War, Women, Rocket, Love and Affection, Hysteria, Run Riot and Don't Shoot Shotgun, but then I hate much of the other stuff. Had the band just included the likes of Desert Song, Fractured Love, Ring of Fire and I Wanna Be Your Hero on this album like originally intended, this album could have been my favorite).
    02. High 'N Dry (This probably should by my favorite, because I feel the better songs are on here over that of Pyromania. A beast of an album with the best guitarists that Def Leppard ever had. All killer, no filler. The only song that's not great NO NO NO.
    01. Pyromania (Pyromania was the album that kicked it off for me in 1983, with my love of all things hard rock and heavy metal as a 12-year-old. Every song is killer with the exception of Action Not Words. Comin' Under Fire is my favorite song of all time that nobody ever talks about. Unbelievable time for this band!
