So glad you found your wallet !!! We just got back last night from Utah, we had a great time down there! Happy to see the sticker make it on the TJ! Sorry to hear about the layoffs Jerry! As always, love your videos! ❤️🐞
Remember mercury thermometers that you reset by shaking them before you used them? Not long ago I went to the store to buy one. All they had, at five different stores, were digital thermometers that required special batteries. It is a good thing I hardly ever need such a thermometer. I recently had an "Oh shit!" moment myself. I came out of the gym and my car was gone, with my wallet and over $1,000 worth of tools in it. The very next day the police returned it to me....with my wallet and all my tools still in it. My wallet even still had all my money in it. The Jeep, oh yes; it looks better in every video. Thank you & thumbs up!
Recently replaced the battery temperature sensor when the P0516 code came up on my '05 Jeep TJ cluster. Oddly enough, it doesn't come up on my scanner. This is a first! And when I go in reverse to get parked in my driveway over a very small bump, the check guages light comes on. Also have a new alternator and battery with the battery reading 12.6 when sitting which is perfect. However, the voltage only reads 13.6 after starting it, when most TJ forums say it should read between 14.2 - 14.7 Any idea of what is causing these things and how I can correct them??
Thanks for the video. I have an 03TJ all the gauges worked fine until five minutes ago. I started it up. The gas gauge shows empty and the yellow signal of need gas. I have a full tank the ideas?
I just replaced a blown 4.0 with a new crate 4.0 now my gas hand shows no gas although it has plenty and I'm getting no fire? Would a ground cause this or what do you think?
My 99 tj had this problem for years . On and off at first and then nothing. Turns out it was some type of debri in the connection at the back of the instrument panel. Possibly solidified dielectric grease?
Hope you got to work through the holiday Jerry. Pretty trippy to have grounded out that 90 degree connector. Bet you couldn’t do that again if you tried.
What was the orange thing that got wired wrong and why couldn't it be un-wired? Was it crimp-once-only connection? I have the same label-maker. Yeah that wallet would have made my stress level go thru the roof too. Hope you still have your job.
@@BackCountryWrenching Jerry i looked and didn't see it. Maybe I missed it. More info on that soldering iron please. Looking at getting a new one. That one looks small enough to get into the places that I need. Thanks in advance
Don’t you just love doing wiring. Kill me now. Hope to see that rig out in Calgary one day soon. Are you going to keep it legal or going to slowly transform to a trailer queen?

You rock!
Working on a fix for my friends TJ. Went through all the other BS with loose terminal fixes that never addressed the problem.
Cuban cigars 👍

@@BackCountryWrenchingI'm buying power probe and telling them you recommend it! What industry are you in, oil business?

We have all been down the 'almost' lost wallet hole. Man that humidor looks good. Stocked with good stuff.

Yep, that's why they say to disconnect the battery and ECU when welding on a car. Weird stuff.
As for radiator, I bought a 3-core of eBay for $82 last year. Had to notch out the radiator hold down shield to clear the radiator cap.
Hope you can hold on to your job. best of luck.

Do you have a link to the A-pillar gauge pod you're using here? Thanks! I can't tell you how many times your videos have helped me out. Keep it up!
