Can we come back to india after completing cct degree from uk? Is getting jobs in private hospital in india will be easy if we have post graduation degree from uk?
Great video ❤. Can you also make a video on how you build your CV, about all those research n attachments you did cause most of us haven't done any research parts in our med schools 😅
Hello doctor , can you make a video on conducting clinical audit in india? Many of us aspirants are eager to get our name in audit , but it seems impossible to conduct in india.
Of course there is no shortage. On GMC website you can see there are about 375k registered doctors and the population of UK is about 66M Do you think that 375k doctors are enough for 66M ?
Hi Dr Abhinav Kumar, sorry to hear of your plight. Had you been a doctor from Pakistan they have a quota called International Training fellows who don't have to give PLAB, MRCP or MRCS to get a job. That's whom the jobs are going to. Good luck.
Hello Dr Abhinav. Very imformative video. Sorry , but I have a question on visa application which i hope you could help me with. Thanks in advance, I am am an F2 doctor working in the UK. I am from Malaysia. My contract expires on Aug 6th 2024. I recently got an offer as a clinical assistant at another nhs trust starting in Sept 7th 2024. My visa expires on Aug 15. So there is a 3 week gap between the expiry and the new start date. Will Homeoffice issue me with a visa with a start date from the date of expiry Aug 15th? Or will i have to go back to my home country to reapply for a new visa. Also if i were to apply for a new visa in the UK, do i have to travel to the vfs office in the London, UK to submit my biometric data? Thank you very much in advance for your assistance.
Sir i am from India and I want to do CCT in Uk , what will be better for me -Should to Go to UK after completing my MBBS or Should i complete My MD in India then Go UK ? Doing MD in India and then going to uk will be better ?, i mean will i get better job and more quickly ? Beautiful the entry level jobs are saturated so doing MD then Giving plab wil, be beneficial. Please give me a guide 🙏
As an IMG, if i complete my FY-2 and if I'm not able to land a specialty training post, what would i do? Can i stay in the UK and do locums? Or else how would things be?
Junior docs have no cause to complain, Yr1 docs get a 15% pay increase in Yr2. In 5 years or less salary doubles. Not forgetting the big NHS pension contribution. Some people are so short sighted.
Hello doctor thank you for this video. I am going to be GMC registered in a few months when I graduate medical school and my fear is that I will not get a job for a long time after I graduate. How should I navigate this feeling? How did you manage to push through the anxiety?
Hi..I have passed MRCS. I have sent more than 30 applications. I still ,I am unable to secure an interview.I have 5 yrs experience in my home country. Will MRCS help me with get an SHO/ clinical fellow job? What can I do to increase my chances of an interview?
Ah yes. It def helps in a surgical line. Problem is that MRCS part A doesn't have any clinical bit. So wouldn't help in preparing you for interview where questions would be like... first line management in a post surgical patient with such and such complications... Etc As for SHO role, it def helps to show you're committed to surgery if you have MRCS
Nah. Not really. The interview is quite unbiased and your skills alone will help you get the job. Your college name could make a talking point for conversations though
Depends on the speciality really. Tough ones will be tough to get regardless. You can always start at a lower rank and work the whole way up. I know an Indian MS gynaecology who restarted her journey from F2. And I know doctors who came via other routes to continue in a higher speciality post. Also, plab route is not available for those with more than 18 months of post graduate surgical experience
Im waiting for plab 2 results, i have 2 years experience in emergency in india !! What is the best thing i can do secure a job !? Pls I have got ghe CREST FORM signed by my consultant.

There is actually no shortage of doctors here, there is a surplus of doctors and a shortage of training posts.

Absolutely.
As an IMG, if i complete my FY-2 and if I'm not able to land a specialty training post, what would i do? Can i stay in the UK and do locums? Or else how would things be?
You can keep doing f2 jobs year after year... sometimes called F3/f4/f5 years.
You can't do just locums as you won't have a sponsor

I am currently doing internship ( since feb 2024 till 2025 feb ) .. if i do pass plab 1 and 2 do i get chance of landing fy2 ?😊
Good communication
Thankyou.
If you come and work in the UK, what are the one who wants to work here ( the UK born people) you stealing their jobs
How many years will it take to complete whole cct training if one starts from fy2

Do college name matter in getting a job in UK, like if we have done from a well known medical school in our home country, will it help?
Nah. Not really. The interview is quite unbiased and your skills alone will help you get the job. Your college name could make a talking point for conversations though
No, you have to do plan like everyone
I mean plab
Dr. Could you tell how hard to land up on a non trainee(say for fy2) job just after completing plab 2. And how long did it take for you
It's quite hard if you're trying to do it from outside uk. Just keep searching and applying on trac jobs though
Sir how much medical student loans do you have? Plz reply. Thanks a lot.
I don't have any medical student loans. But if you work in the UK, it's pretty common to have ~£40,000 in loans by the end of med school
Bhai you are so big think about that...😅😅😅 btw this is very funny.... Just chill and work hard no one can compete you....😊
Thanks a lot friend
