Wow. Look at that angle on the upper ball joint.
Looks good bruh. You guys do some awesome work. I just started following you guys and I will continue. Getting ready to soon buy a 2000 F250 and I am glad I came upon your channel. keep the good work up.
u guys should do one for the 99 2000 ford 1500
I have been looking around at lifting my truck and want to run a 6 inch lift with 35x12.5 -44 on a 04 GMC Sierra 1500 and I went to a shop near me and the guy said he would never do a NorCal tuck because it's a major mod and it messes up your truck. Is that true? Also what's the best budget lift?
Do you need UCA replacement? What type of stress is this causing
Ik it kinda makes it easier to take off another of the shit to get the strut out but u dont even need to do that. Just turn ur wheel all the way opposite of the side ur working on and disconnect ur upper control arm and just slip it out.
I feel like that stresses the whole suspension work.
Careful with those ball joints
Have you guys seen any blatant wear done to the suspension components of guys who run these levels? Do you foresee it happening after a certain amount of time/miles the truck is on the level?
what brand are the tire and wheels and sizes thanks for the information
I was looking into putting a leveling kit on my 94 c1500, but the website I'm buying it from says I need aftermarket control arms. Is that true???
how does it fit 7'' lifted with 4'' spacers and 17x10x-24 37x12.50
I know it's only a leveling kit but is it best to go ahead an replace the shocks I mean you there anyway ? I'm looking to do this to my single cab 2013 ram 1500 but with 22's stock R/T rims with 33's tire most likely atturo trail blade my but I was also looking into the hybrid cause I don't do any off road just city and little country driving
Compressing the spring is such a bitch, i wouldn't even bother unless the shocks are actually blown.
I can't get the tie rod back on the knuckle. What's the deal?
can you do one on a 04 ram 1500 2wd
It's weird that he would ask a question to someone in the shop, while recording, on the height difference between the front and back with the level installed. Just a little odd.
im guessing the rims are 20x12 but what is the offset?
Do you need different shocks for the level in the front. Would it look fine if you just level the front and not put the blocks in the rear
no need for front struts with a puck level! and leveling kit only brings up the front!
I have an 04 F150 Triton...will the 2.5 leveling kit be enough to accommodate 315’s?
Check out the gallery on our website! Type in your vehicle info plus suspension and it will show you what others have made fit including rubbing and trimming details!www.customwheeloffset.com/wheel-offset-gallery
How is the ride quality?
I always thought it was so funny how small the axle bolt is on my f150 when my wife's Hyundai has a honking ass 32 mm nut that takes a 6 foot bar to break loose lol
what about a 2001 f150 lift....yall have one on your website jacked up....
Hey I was wondering if y'all had any suggestions on an aggressive tire that isn't a mud tred is there one ?
Hybrid tire. Its a all terrain, all season with decent tread depth. They made a video on it, its like Sh!t i never knew: hybrid tires.
Cooper discoverer stt pro perfect on road off road that lasts as long as an on road but looks good and has great all year round traction.
Was the lower control arm bolts loosened in this process?
yessir
any suggestions on making a 3.5 level on a 04' f150 with 35s a little smoother. after replacing all ball joints, one wheel bearing and new shocks and springs.?? it almost feels like i ran over a big rock! HELP!!!
You fix it?
So know this is a very old video and who knows if you guys still check these comments on it but here goes. I have an 07 with this kit put on by the prev owner. The back was also lifted 2 or 2.5 so it still has a rake but fits 35's with a slight rub at full crank in front. I'd like to go slightly higher in the front if possible but don't know if it's a good idea with the angles of all the joints etc. Suggestions?
Hey man! Shoot us an email at sales@customoffsets.com and we can help you from there!
The best thing to do at that point would be to just get a larger kit. The angles and everything else is almost max right now and they best way to deal with that is drop brackets and a larger kit. You can check out our suspension kits here!
customoffsets.com/suspension
Yeah two in the front one in the back
that looked like a 5 blot lug and you put a 6 bolt rim on it or am I seeing that wrong? if so how did you do that
They had to put a adapter to be able to put that 6 lug wheel there adapters to put on 5 lug to be able to use 6 lug nut wheels
How much rubbing on 33/12.5 with stock suspension on 2013 f150 4wd?
Well?
why does my truck after the 2.5 rough country lift i have a popping or hitting sound after a bump??
didnt have it before the lift. i had the struts replaced not to long ago
Could be a plethora of things, I would check to make sure everything is tight, or loose. Could be a lot of things!
Custom Offsets Found the problem. they left loose nut .Got it all tight! thanks for the reply tho
Custom Offsets awesome videos guys!!
What wheels and tires did he go with? Or at least what size?

I see people do different things .basically I have a 2009 Ford F-150 I have a 6 inch rough country Lift kit and I also have a set of wheels I got from you guys. 22 x 14 with 35 inch tires I wanted to change out the tires and put 37” any advice you can guys can give me will be perfect. I seen other people on your gallery where they put a spacer in the front and blocks in the rear to add to the 6 inch rough country two give it a little bit more height what do you suggest I need exactly to accomplish this?
Reem, you *could* but would definitely need to research what it would do to the suspension geometry. Check our gallery out to see what others did- bit.ly/2kxlDKj
Can you fit 275/70r18 tires on 18x9 wheels with no leveling kit? Anyone have this set up? I want to do this with my 2008 4X4 XLT f150 but don't want to put a leveling kit if I don't need to.
Check trucks in our gallery running that setup here- bit.ly/2GDOqI8
U will have no problem at all. I have 22x9.5 rims. With 305/45r22 tires on mines right now. Haven't done anything n I have zero issues
I just order some 33x12.5 inch tires for my 2wd f150. It currently sits one inch lower in the front than the back. I know I will have to raise it at least 2 inches in the front so that the tires will fit.
Ideally I would like my truck to sit leveled.
I was thinking I could put a 2.5 inch spacer in the front and a 1.5 inch block in the rear and I would be leveled and my tires would fit.
My concern now is, will these spacers and blocks cause damage to my truck over time?
Did u do it? Thinking bout doing a 2 n half level kit in front and getting some 33x12.50 tires put on. How was it experience?
@@vonalleyrottweilers7660 I did. There was very little catching of the tire on the bottom plastic piece under the metal bumper. I nearly cut out a small piece on each side with the saw on my Swiss Army knife and solved the problem.
@@powerwh33ls awesome. Thanks for the follow up
@@vonalleyrottweilers7660 no problem man, I remember it being a headache to figure out before ordering, so glad to help
@@powerwh33ls I just now ordered the 2.5 level kit by rough country. Currently I got 22x9.5 rims on 305/45r22 tires n it rides perfect but I'm wanting to put 33x12.5 tires here soon so the lift should be great
I have a ford 150 05' .And install 2.5" leveling kit and my problem is the upper control arm strain / tension ? need help .thanks !
I try it but did work ??
Did you fix it?
Where's the truck from? that rust makes me sad. So glad I don't live in the salt belt.
Can i run a 3 inch spacer on stock wheels? Just got new fron upper balls joints and new control arms will it hold up? Now the joints nd control arms or oem not the ones that support lifts.
3 in leveling kit off amazon*
It can be done without disassembling all that.
How so ?
Will any f150 leveling kit fit on a raptor?
Your best bet is to use the appropriate lift kit/leveling kits for your year make and model!
I have a 2011 f-150 4x2 and I want to level it out perfect I don’t know if I should get a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit or smaller what should I get to make it leveled perfect let me know thnx
bit.ly/2GQvE0B Ours are adjustable so you can get it dialed in just perfect!
I have seen ppl say u need to compress the spring and do a 180 degree turn? Do u have to do that or no?
Make sure to look up the install of your specific truck and kit to verify!
@@CustomOffsetsTV I got a 2010 Ford f150 2 wd
@@CustomOffsetsTV The label on the Strut "5328"
is Now on the opposite side of the strut tube.
The bolt pattern on the spacer is 180 degrees out
from the strut.
I would like to see how you rotated the top mount.
The 2004-2008 Has a dog leg strut.
Can i get these for a 2001 f-150?
So if I go more than a 2.5" lift spacer like a 3" spacer I will ruin my truck suspension?
I ordered a 2.5 inch leveling kit. The spacers are 1.5 inches thick. How can they lift it up 2.5 inches?
Please email info@customoffsets.com Level kits vary!
The spacer is always smaller but will give the truck the true 2.5 in it says
so...a 2.5 leveling kit only raises the front 1/4 inch??
2.5" James.
Custom Offsets oh ok. I misunderstood what he said at the end.
James Bonanno I know this is very late but what he was saying was that the front is 1/4 inch higher than the back with a 2.5 leveling kit
No what he means is. It's not a actual level kit hence the front is a 1/4 " higher then rear.
@@fordinlinestraight But the rear is higher than the front at stock height anyways so
Wow back yard mechanic much
So I bought a 3in leveling kit just the front strut block! Do I need to replace my upper control arms now too or can’t it wait??
Don't have to, but for a 3" its definitely a good idea to!
Custom Offsets if I ran 22x12s with 33x12.50s on my 2011 F150 4x4 how Lon do you think I could get away without changing the upper control arms out
Can you guys please make a vehicle spotlight on this Ford F-150
Okay. Imma let everyone know this. On the 11th gen f150 you should only put a 1inch leveling kit on. The reason is the uppercontrol arm will be super close to the coilover. This is very dangerous and I wouldn’t even recommend a leveling kit on a 11th gen. You can tell in the video how close it is. If your really wanting to you could get a suspension lift kit with drop down brackets that straighten everything better than stock and then you possibly could put a 2.5 or 3 but I don’t recommend doing leveling kits at all. Also rough country isnt the way to go either for wanting to put a leveling kit on top of suspension Spend the extra money and get a suspension lift please.
Damon Gentry what brand suspension lift do you recommend
that angle at 3:28 lol
NateDougie602 is it bad ?
It's on the lift lol once in the floor it will change
NateDougie602 - the suspension is on full droop
I spent about 3 hours on this and couldn’t get the bottom of my shock to go in place.
I had a hard time also. What helped me was a pry bar and using the jack in just the right spot once you figure it out there’s nothing to it
@@gagescripter I ended up lowering my control arms and got it no problem.
@@jakehilderbrand7737 glad to hear it man👌 take care
i got an 08 with stock susension. Does anyone know if i can go 3.5" leveling kit only in the front? i want to fit 35's
Montoya the Rager shouldn't go more then 2.5 or the stearing gets tight
I have an 04 F-150, 3.5" lift and 35s clear easily. I would recommend getting after market control arms to accommodate for the lift height. Check out freedom offload. Overall the cost for everything isn't too bad, and the look REALLY looks great. Hope this helps
Good video not much explained tho
It's a different idea. My opinion not a good one. Drive angle changes go against engineers specs. Your parts will wear out faster. Just leave it stock it's much more cooler
Don't hit your tie rod out of the knuckle like that. Good way to fuck it up.
I keep tellin’ him that!
@@CustomOffsetsTV well one day maybe he'll get a good mushroom on it and learn lol
U where bald kmow u have hair lol
Go home big, you're drunk.
Had a huge 2004 f150 5.4 and the f***** engine went, would suggest u to stop putting money into it lol

First of all too much stress on ball joints, rusted shocks! And asking how much height? Not professional!
Torque specs?
