@@livingthefloridaeastcoast nice. I will keep you in mind. Going back this early summer to Melbourne to get more intel. But man these insurance prices may keep me in AZ Unfortunately. Sad they’ve gotta do better on affordability. Not everyone can do 3500 and up a year.
@@DesertDrifter Look at new construction! I have been seeing quotes as inexpensive as $1,400/ year. Having homes built to the current hurricane codes really helps.
@@livingthefloridaeastcoastIsn’t it too boring to live in Vero Beach?? We’ve visited it recently, and looks like it’s absolutely nothing to do there except beaches (yes, beaches are very beautiful there!). We drove to downtown of Vero Beach; everything was closed; didn’t see anybody on the streets. The feeling was a kind of dead place. Was the feeling wrong? Did we miss anything there? I understood there isn’t even one movie theater with reclining seats there. Is it correct? (I cannot imagine to watch 2-3 hours movies with no recliners. 🤪)
No Trader Joe's and no Whole Foods in Melbourne, Florida. All the fast food you can imagine in Melbourne. Nobody eating healthy in Melbourne, FL. Where do you go hiking in Melbourne, Florida when it's all flat land? You don't have mountains or hills.
Great content!

Thanks Adam!
The last big Hurricane was in 1979... in that area.
You live in Melbourne now? Thought you were in Vero?
I live in Vero Beach, but we are expanding our territory to the Melbourne area. Great affordability up there if folks are priced out of Vero Beach.

So no alligator or large flying bugs?
Melbourne actually has large flying alligators

Maybe I should say “walking” instead of “hiking”! Good catch.
I just left Colorado, and now THAT is hiking
The only hills that Florida has are at the landfills
Plus it's hotter than hell.
