Thank you so much for your helpful videos, especially the ones featuring Orchids. I live in the far southeast part of the USA, so it's hot, and humid for most of the year. I still keep my orchids in the shade, and in winter, I bring them inside because it gets a bit too cold to let them stay outside. I have an indoor greenhouse for my orchids when conditions are not optimum for them outdoors, but they seem to thrive outside, so I try to follow your wonderful advice when growing my orchids and you're ALWAYS the person I turn to if I'm having problems. I wish that Vandas were the equivalent of 600 Rupees here… I have spent close to $100 USD for a blooming-sized Vanda, and even seedlings (with 5+ years before I'll see the first flower spike!) cost $20 USD or more from reputable nurseries. Thanks again for your wonderful videos, I watch all of them!
I always wanted some of these! I had some in Sikkim but now I am settled in Hyderabad! Want to grow here too! Your method is very easy to understand. Thanq very much.
A nice simple description to grow famous Vanda Orchids in English. First of all, thankyou for speaking in English, so that we can understand and a fine clear description with examples. When I see your descriptions, it grows a spirit in me to grow it commercially and at home. Thx a lot and congrats!
Great Vedio. So informative. I'm from Sydney. Now we have Autumn here. I have ordered 4 types of Vandas. Didn't have a clue how to look after them. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm a new subscriber and want to see more vedios of vandas. Love orchids.
For years i didn't know what type of orchid I had, it has been slowly dying, for years.. now i atleast know how to take care of it, thank you so much. Hope it survives
Sir Very useful video. Watching your videos is a passion for me.Not even a single day passes without watching your videos. Whenever I buy a new plant i watch your video regarding that plant and strictly follow your instructions. You explain so well sir Thank you for sharing the informations
Nice video but disappointing that he doesn't mention the light/sunlight requirements (daily duration and strength) for Vandas. In my understanding and research, this is the most important factor in order to get them to flower. A lot of research really pays off in my opinion, because there is so much contradictory information given on so many topics. Like some other people, I just don't have time to water/spray them every day and found other videos on RUclips (like those from Bumblebee's Orchids) that say from their experience, you can soak the roots in (warmish) water for 4 to 8 hours or even overnight and then they will only need to be watered two to three times a week, depending on your local weather conditions of course. I do this with excellent results here in California with my indoor windowsill Vandas, which are my very favourite orchids and which I never thought I would be able to grow successfully until i did my research. Also, he only seems to reply to people who thank him and compliment him and not to those who ask specific questions about Vandas, which is unfortunate.
Very easy to understand. I have a thick branch from a silver oak plant and please let me know if I can just tie the vanda seedlings on this branch with coir rope? Thank you
Today I purchased one Vanda orchid. This is the first time i am planning to do orchid. I don't have any idea one growing orchid but I always wanted to try with orchid and today purchased. I was in drk how to care the plant, the person who was selling the Vanda orchid he even could not guide me properly. Then I saw your video and got some valuable information. Your explanation is able to build confidence in me. I am doing gardening since a long time but orchid I haven't tried ever. Thanks for this video. The plant I purchased there is one coconut husk is tied around the roots. I have purchased specific plastic hanging pot which has net like structure. Do you suggest to tie another coconut husk around the roots?
Thank you! Please advise - whether they can be kept in complete shade or do they need indirect light. And whether normal tap water can be given? I water my orchids with filtered water (eureka filter).

Oh my god!!! 😮 100 USD for Vanda. I was angry for spending 600 rupees for Orchid Plant and 600 rupees for six seedlings of fox tail. 😊
