Mochaccino Cake Rich And Luscious

- When your favorite cafe mocha made into a cake. So rich and luscious, with coffee goodness. Come and bake along with me.
Here's what you'll need:
6 large eggs
1 cup sugar (200g)
1 and 1/3 cup cake flour (160g)
a pinch of salt
1/2 tbsp instant coffee
2 tbsp pure unsweetened cocoa powder (15g)
1/4 cup hot milk (55ml)
Mochaccino Frosting:
150g semi sweet dark chocolate
1 tsp instant coffee
1/3 cup whipping cream (80ml) + 1 and 1/4 cup whipping cream (300ml)

Made this yesterday for my birthday. Taste is superb and my husband loved it. If you plan to make and if you want to have the same 1/2" thickness as the cake in the video, divide the batter in to two 9*13 cake pans. because there's enough batter for two. I followed the exact recipe expect for, I added 1tsp of vanilla extract. If anyone wonders there's no egg smell or taste. I actually love the taste.

Have tried this. The frosting recipe is really good. But i think you should just add some vanilla extract to lessen that egg-y smell of the cake itself. The cake tasted really good with frosting. Thumbs up!
Hey what you could do is remove the eye of the egg (the little white part in the egg) or add a little citrus zest eg. orange zest.
@@TamaraRecipes this is the first time that ive heard of removing the egg eye and i searched it here in YT. Thank you for sharing that tip. will do that.
