"Third Party Tested" can also be paid for by the company and therefore the "results" of the testing will obviously end up skewed. It needs ro be "Independently Third Party Tested". Hope that helps!

Oh Rachel, I'm a supplement Ho too! When my friends say, "why? it just gets pissed down the drain!." It's not true. Look at bodybuilders! Food is medicine BUT our food isn't nutrient dense as it once was. Enter Supplements ! I drew my Vit D levels and they were low, so I started on a Costco brand. I was religious about it for months and took my levels again... no change! So if we are going to put in the work (and it is WORK) let's make sure what we are taking is doing its job too! As always, thanks for doing what you do!

Hey Jennifer! I have not tried Toniq, yet - but I have it in my supplement cabinet. Once I’m done with my current berberine (Enzymedica) I’ll be trying Toniq. I’m convinced that both Thorne and Enzymedica are great options - when sharing that I didn’t notice a difference it was really to point out that it can be so difficult to tell which one is better. It can be tricky to make videos on this because I can speculate just as much as anyone, but what do I really know for certain. Ya know?

Two extremely important factors to consider when considering a purchase: The first is price. When the price is high, we tend to equate that with quality. It is a marketing strategy. The second, and extremely important is how Amazon rates their products. I used to shop for the highest ratings first and then for the number of reviews last. So, it would appear that a rating of 4.6 with 12,656 reviews may be a better choice than a 4.7 with 130 reviews, right? Not necessarily! Do the research on those reviews. In general, Amazon may rate the reviews on all of that company's and give an average. Many times, the thousands of reviews may be indicative of the company's review showing other products, very often not even remotely resembling the product itself. For example, the majority of positive reviews may be attributed to a popular thumb drive or a mouse and not necessarily the product. The actual reviews from the supplement may be rated low in comparison. BTW, good work Rachel! I had no idea that this company existed.

Their Berberine supplement contains other ingredients known to help with Glugose control. The brand is also 3rd party tested. By the way, if a supplement brand labels there product as manufactured in an FDA regulated facility, it's not true. The FDA does not regulate, monitor, or test supplements. And thank you so much, Ms. Rachel, for this video. UPDATE: My A1c has lowered. In my opinion, Toniiq is the most pure version, and seems to work for me.

Also I thought that I could take a lower dose when exercising in the morning. After a week I switched to Toniiq. I have had zero side effects with both. But I have not noticed a big difference either. Sometimes I have the feeling to feel fuller more easily but it could be totally placebo in my mind. No weight difference at all. I am at the 3rd week. @@debraferguson9992 I really don’t know why. He even has a video on Berberine. In the end, I decided against using Berberine. I already have some GI problems. It doesn’t melt fat away. It helps you control your appetite. So I’m going to do OMAD and fast on Saturdays, exactly how Dr. Berg recommends. It’s a self control issue and I’m capable of doing this without a pill. I really enjoy Dr. Berg’s videos.
