Redwood hills Best probiotic I have tried. It tastes so much better than regular goat milk first you're going to hate it probably but give it a couple of weeks You're actually going to like the taste. Give it a few weeks you'll start to feel so much better in your digestive system absolute gold in a bottle!
I love it so much i already had 2 cup of it today 😂😂😂😂
Yes 👍
A little salt and pepper and garlic powder, and it's an amazing dip. Especially for potato wedges. It's kinda like ranch.
Rachel, UR my gal! I started buying Yakut probiotic drink cuz they were small (2.7 oz) and although it has additives I'm not happy with (corn dextrin) the convenience is great. My son, who is on the spectrum and suffered a lot from digestive issues, would grab them too and his mental energy/focus and digestive issues are amazingly better. Your video has encouraged me to look for better alternatives (goat milk is easier to digest) and maybe I'll keep a shot glass in the fridge now! :) Kudos for spotlighting this small healthy change but with a huge impact.
That’s amazing that they have been so helpful for you and your son! You are clearly already on the path! Very grateful that you found this helpful ❤️❤️❤️
Look up the gaps diet and autoimmune protocol diet. Great for asd
The reason I searched this is because I can't believe how amazing I feel after drinking goat keffir today!
Me, too!
We buy the Redwood Hill Farm brand! Good stuff! Able to find it at local Health Nut shop. Its become a staple grocery item for sure! ❤
I just started recently mixing goat milk with cow milk instead off cow milk only to make my own kefir ( using kefir grains and not supermarket bought kefir) I have had always problems with lactose intolerance and belching, reflux etc... when drinking/eating diary products but with the goat milk this has improved - so I will most probably start using only goat milk for my kefir and hope this will work better - kefir on its own is a very good product to keep your guts in balance and I used to have diarrhea on a regular basis because I drink a lot of homemade smoothies with fruits, seeds, vegetables, sprouts, spirulina, chlorella etc ...but with adding kefir to my diet this has improved a lot
Yep, goat milk kefir one of my main staples. I drink it shaken with a bit of brewers' yeast and good quality organic EVOO. Or I add it to my bulletproof coffee as a last step, which is to say when the coffee is not so hot as to kill off the good stuff. What else in the bp-coffee? Always some raw ginger cut up fine, always some unsweetened cacao nibs, always a tbs. of MCT oil, usually some coconut butter and/or grass-fed butter, and usually a touch of EVOO as well. (And yep, it involves a bit of both drinking and chewing and a bit of shaking the mix between sips.) But none of these combinations taste particularly good to me till the kefir goes in. Then all's yum with the world. :)
I ordered raw goat keefer milk from a farm. Ive never tasted it before, so I can’t know if it’s supposed to be sour and soda like. Some had leaked so not sure if it’s just bad.
Sour, yes, but not soda-like. Be careful.@@Shananana99
organic goat milk or yougurt is great for the gut. continue on your gut cleanse journey. it takes time and the body detoxs so there will be flares. also consider a parasite cleanse (simple clean ones no need for a pill filled regiment)
A horrible effect from antibiotics inlucing gut and hair loss, praying it works.. drinking right now 🙏🙏🙏🙏
How are you doing? Did the goat kefir help you?🙏🏾
@@Delton96 I think so, but more over fresh aloe vera leaves , just eating chunks all day. Look up medical medium fresh alohe
I am loving your videos ❤
I drink Raw sheep milk kefir from local farm it helps my mental health a lot too!
Drinking it in the morning helped me with energy. I dont need coffee anymore.
I use Redwood.
That’s incredible! Thank you so much for sharing!
Hi Rachel. I was having constipation and other stomach maladies. I increased my fiber and also started using Alexander A2 milk kéfir. It’s tastes pretty good, creamy and not tart like majority of kefirs. So far I’m liking it. My gastro also takes kéfir too. I have if first thing in the morning before breakfast.
Thank you!!! Always good to know which great options are out there. Is it weird that I like the tart taste??? Sounds like you have a great gastro!
I make homemade goat kefir from raw goat milk and it honestly has helped my skin, gut and mental health. I give it to my dogs as well (in moderation) but it helped my pup with atopic dermatitis, he used to scratch so much it broke my heart. His skin is clearing up since he gets a little bit before bed.
I use REDWOOD goat kefir over gluten free muffins for a dessert. Delicious!
Drinking some right now as I do everyday. Keep spreading the word
I recently read a scientific study that ingesting 100mL a day for 8 weeks increased skin hydration, lowered TEWL, and improved other skin parameters ‘significantly’ (can’t recall the exact percentages but some were double digit). I started about 4 weeks ago. Also, Rachel, try it topically! I use it as a 5-10 min mask in the morning instead of cleanser and helps with skin texture because of the lactic acid. It does contains *a lot* of peptides but have not done enough research to know which ones to compare and contrast with advanced creams. More research exists on cow milk derived kefir, than the goat variety but my strong preference is goat kefir.
Thank you so much for sharing! You are a wealth of information!
I try to have it everyday - mixed with a tablespoon or so of chia seeds…great stuff!
Genius! Thank you for sharing the tip! I’m going to have to try that!
So where’s the update? Did it work? 👀
I drink it every day. Its the best Goat Kefir I've ever had.
You still using this? See any benefits? I've been wanting to get some but every time I try they are out of the brand I'm looking for lol.
Hope it helps you, Rachel! BTW, how does it taste? It doesn't sound appetizing lol. Best of luck and have a great week.
I drink goat milk kefir every morning. I add raw honey and cinnamon. It’s delicious. It’s like a drinkable yogurt.
@@Honeyfaced1 thanks - I'll give it a shot!
@@DebbieHerbert You’re welcome. 😊
It tastes a little tart, kind of like Greek yogurt. I actually like the taste straight up! But I lean towards tart tastes anyhow 😃
Glycolic acid?!
Great stuff
I wish I could do those great store brands.
My system can only handle the high class of raw unpasteurized.
When I can find it, I am in heaven.
When I can't, I sadly accept.
My son drank goat kefir when he was a toddler!!
Oh yea?? Did it help him in anyway?
Thanks for sharing. Xx
Trader Joe’s yogurt/kefir won’t do anything good for you, it has to be homemade yogurt made with 100% raw goat or cow milk. Period.
Thank you! Any advice on where to find it?
@@RundownwithRachelGo to the Weston A. Price site to find raw milk nearest to you. Then buy some kefir grains on line. Easy to make.
I've never considered goat kefir. I use regular kefir in our breakfasts sometimes - mine in overnight oats (I can't eat oatmeal made same day, but if they're soaked overnight I'm all good.) and I use it in our pancake/waffle mix (one of the few things my kid eats so I make them as nutritious as he'll let me).... You drink it straight, no using it as an ingredient? I'll have to see if my TJs carries it! I've never noticed it. Thank you!
I am not ashamed to say that I drink it straight and out of the jug. What can I say, I’m classy 👒

Thanks so much
Thank you for the video.. i have autoimmune and gut inflamation issue.. after taking 2 spoons of cow milk kefir just before meal, I felt comfort in my stomach and the gas disappear.. but 1 day after, my allergic showed up with the symptom itchy in my face.. Do I have to stop dringking kefir or continue to addapt my metabolims?
I’m so sorry you are dealing with that! I realize everyone is so different so could see the reason to stop taking the kefir.
@@RundownwithRachelthank's for the advice.. i stopped kefir for 1 Day, after that i continued drink it until now and nothing happen.. my allergic didn't show up..
I just bought Redwood Hill goat milk kefir for my son, from Sprouts. One of his doctors just gave us kefir grains. So I also bought goat milk to make kefir at home. I decided on goat milk because I read, "Goat milk contains less casein than cow milk, which also may make goat milk easier to digest"
Did the Kefir sort your psoriasis out?
Hey Rachel, just wanted to let you know that the kefir you’re drinking right now is cool and all but you want to drink unpasteurized kefir milk. I get mine from a farm and you really taste the yeast unlike this pasteurized nonsense
I brought 2 different raw goat kefir from two diffetent farms.. one tasted like the store really yummy and nothint off putting. The other one Oh My Lord.. it smelle like goat or farm and I have to hold my nose everytime I drink it.. why do they smell and taste soo different when both say they are raw?? The one that tasted good I thought for once they were lyin and just used store one cos thats how similar it was
@@Gemisnotmyname the one that smells and taste sour is more fermented than the other one therefore there’s more probiotics and more yeast in that one. It’s an acquired taste and I’ll usually mix it with some supplement power, sea moss and local honey.
Trader Joe's brand actually has milk in it. I'm allergic to regular milk so I wanted to try this product from TJ. Shortly after consuming it I had pretty much the same symptoms I get with milk. I returned the product.
Oh no! Thank you so much for letting us know!!!!
❤
Oml I love this channel! Thank you for the healthy info! Health is wealth.
I have scalp dermatitits I believe.Y head itches no matter what I do. What shampoo do you use?
I wish I had a good rec. When I’m inflamed I experience the same thing. Regardless of the shampoo.
@@RundownwithRachel Update! I’ve been using the Jupiter shampoo! And oml my head doesn’t itch anymore unless it’s ready to be washed.
@@Esmeeeeeedbjd thank you!!!! I’m going to check that out!!!
