LOL at the Charlie's angel pose at the end! I have a body gua sha tool I've never used. Time to whip it out. Thanks, Rachel!
Thank you for demonstrating how to do it. Very helpful
Great content and comments as usual! My favorite Sunday Routine-seeing what Rachel is up to:) always keeps me focused on the positive
Your comment makes me smile so big. Thank you for taking the time and for being so kind. Hope you have a fabulous week - know you’ve already made a difference in mine ❤️
This is my 2nd vid of urs n I AM IN LOVE!!! Ugot a new sub!! THANK U!❤
Really appreciate your kind words especially given I’m due to level up my videos big time. Thank you ❤️
Great video Rachel! I just recently discovered you and have put into practice several of your suggestions with great success! Thank you so much for sharing your research and results. I love your sense of humor as well.
Thank you! That means so much to me. If there is anything I DON’T want my content to be it’s full of trivial recommendations that don’t work out. Surely not everything is going to work for everyone, but it’s why I want to be so careful to not lose credibility - as I’ve seen with so many other creators. Im so glad we share a good sense of humor, is there anything better??? Hope you have a great week!
You've convinced me! I ordered my gua sha gear, can't wait to give it a whirl!! Thanks!
It’s so good! Hardest part is sticking with it! But it is always there to return to!
You always bring the best content to us.
You’re so generous. Thank you. Lord knows production levels could be improved, but it’s been so much fun. Comments like your encourage me so much ❤️
Your vid’s are always short, sweet and motivating. Any update on getting back on the rebounder?
Thank you, JEM.M - your kind words mean so much to me and make such a difference. You must be a mind reader. I just started again today. For some reason, it’s been so difficult to stick with it. But I figure I’m just going to start with 10 min and track the lymphatic drainage benefits. Hell, it should probably take care of my remaining cellulite, too. I’m going to see if there’s any noticeable difference in as soon as 10 days. That way it’s more realistic for me to stick with it. That said, I’ll be putting together content on it soon!
Great content! Perfect! Makes so much sense and this is the treatment that companies don't want you to know about! FYI - it isn't technically bruising! Which is why it stops - from the chinese medicine perspective it is actually "blood/lymph stagnation" and when there is no stagnation there is no blood that rises to the surface. It is actually very healthy and good to clear the stagnation so the "bruised" appearance is signs of beneficial action! @RundownwithRachel
Do you think this will be more effective before rebounding or after?
Rachael can u do lunges n squats for thighs or what can I do along with body brushing n qua sha?
I’m always amazed by how a good tan will get a yt girl out of a depressive funk. Imma start telling my girlfriends if maybe they just need to re up on the spray tan 😅😅
Sorry I’m just seeing your comment now! I need to remind myself of this, too 😂
Rachel you look amazeeeeeeng. Will def try this dry brushing and guasha thing as i trust your judgement always (still skeptical but hope it works!) How many days per week do you do it when you are being consistent? Xx 🥰
Thank you!!! One of the things with being on camera is you see yourself in angles you don’t normally see in a mirror and all I can say is I’m sticking with Hamelin for the foreseeable future!
Great questions! And I realize I need to put together a video explaining how it works. Not even sure I FULLY understand it. Consistent for me is 3-4 times a week!
@RundownwithRachel what oil do you use? I've ordered the brushes and the other tools, but I am not sure about the oil. 😊
@@glory9221 I have a shower oil that I bought years ago and wasn’t a fan of. This is it amzn.to/3QCBLc8. It’s been nice that I’ve been able to use it up for this! This is a much more affordable option I would recommend amzn.to/3QMnDNo.
@RundownwithRachel Thank you so much for your assistance. I just recently came across your videos. You have given me so much hope. Are you able to use massage oil or even baby oil? I was looking on Amazon yesterday and found affordable massage oil. I can not wait to get started. Thank you for everything you do. ❤️ 😊
Is there a certain oil I should get?
I workout hard weight lifting and good diet. But it seems after menopause noting works. Skin is sagging more Cellulitis are so bad. And yes I check my hormones I am on top
Of ir. Aging is sucks. Any suggestions?
How many days a week do I do this?
2:13 So funny how we all see skin color differently. I’m very fair, but I’ve been complimented on my skin all my life, and have ever heard, “stay out of the sun so you keep your beautiful fair skin.” 😂 Anyway, I guess I’m one of those odd people who embraces & likes my fair skin. I’m too low maintenance for those self tanner lotions anyway! 🤪😂 I will say my SIL recently used them though and was loving the results! I know for many they can make a difference in how they feel for sure. ❤
And THANK YOU for demonstrating you anti-cellulite routine! That is one thing of mine I have NOT fully embraced, LOL, so I will be trying this! I’m so happy for you that it’s worked so well. That is amazing!! 🎉
I am with you, I stay out of the sun like it’s my JOB!!!! It’s funny how self tanner does wonders for some, but then others, like you, probably look better without it! Maybe bc I have somewhat of a Spanish look, when I have tanner on I look more exotic which I’m not mad at. Hope you’re having a fabulous Sunday!
@@RundownwithRachel
Ah, yes, I can see you looking great with a tan too! You’re so beautiful either way!! ☺️
And thank you-I hope you’re having a great Sunday also! 🌸
As a black women I wonder why keeping your fair skin is so important??? Just curious....
@@mariejane1567 I know it’s different for different people but for me I’ve always been motivated to stay out of the sun to prevent sun damage, discoloration and accelerated aging.
@@mariejane1567
Hi there! I’m sorry if I’m misunderstanding, but I’m not seeing where I gave the impression that keeping my fair skin was “so important?” I’m a little confused by your question. :)
What I had hoped to convey was that I embraced and liked my natural fair skin color. I have dark hair, blue eyes and fair skin. I’ve been compared to Snow White throughout my life, so I guess you could say it’s my trademark in a way? :)
I’m mainly putting this out there to encourage others with fair skin to hopefully embrace their natural fair color as well, because fair skin was specifically mentioned in the video, and that’s why I’m commenting on fair skin…. because of what the video said. I hope that helps?
BTW, I think dark skin is very beautiful as well. Beauty comes in all different shapes, sizes and colors. :)
Also, just to be clear, I don’t think Rachel was putting down fair skin-just that she prefers hers a little darker! We’re all different. :)
Rachel is awesome, super smart, savvy, caring, and I love what her channel puts out (thank you, Rachel!!). ❤️
Thanks for the video. May I ask which oils you recommend and if this method is effective for arms? Thanks❤️
Great questions! I need to try it on my arms bc I know I benefit from lymphatic drainage there!
As far as the oil, I don’t have a particular brand I recommend. If I were to buy a new one it would probably be this amzn.to/45xE7Nx.
Does the Hamelin Method have dvds to follow?
You need to do a tutorial for the arms and abs and chest
You are so right! Such a good idea. Thank you 🥰
You should try the Ashley Black Fascia Blaster… Gua Sha is great but the blasters take it too another lever
My cellulite got way worse after using the fascia blaster 😔
I have the fascia blaster and I love it! same concept really...
Hey ❤. Ok so I have a fake tan right right. I’m assuming I can just do the gu sha. Have you found an oil that you don’t need to shower after using? Also last question here; I’m super interested in the varicose vein thing. I would I assume I should be careful going over them? I’d ask you offline but I bet your viewers may want to know too. It’s very cool that this can help!!!! My veins are getting bad at 55!!! ❤ love ya!
I'm wondering about the veins, too. I'm guessing just don't go directly over them. God forbid I make them worse! I looked around online and found a lady who said she got rid of hers using a gua sha. She used strokes going down toward her feet. That seems counterintuitive. I don't know...
I am 50. Cellulite on the back of my legs is sadly not going anywhere. 😭 Evan though I do Hamelin several times a week. Tonique, hike, bike and work on my feet all day long. This gives me hope. Maybe it’s my missing link. Gonna order one now. I do have a brush since my days with TA when she promoted it. But it’s time to use it regularly. Thanks Rachel! I really love ❤your helpful videos.
So excited for what your experience is! That’s what’s been crazy for me to, doing all the right things and still cellulite! That is probably why 90% of women have it! I’m confident this will help!!!
did you use it?
did it work?
I’m a regular dry brusher, but I guess I’m heading to Amazon to find myself a body guasha tool! 😂
It really is insane and even easier than body brushing! Please report back your findings 👏👏👏
I've tried body gua sha and it's made no difference to my cellulite unfortunately. I think depends how badly visable it is in the first place.
Facial gua sha question: any recommendations for oils that won’t clog pores?
Grape seed oil
I’ve been dry brushing on dry skin, didn’t know to use oil!
you don’t use a dry brush with oil, that’s meant to be done on completely dry skin. you use oil when you use the body gua-sha!
Who’s the other lady in the video?
I been using a small Gua but I still have cellulite. I should get the big Gua black one. Do you like the wooden gua or teh black one?
I do find stone works better. You can even start with a small stone gua sha.
Just give yourself time. Hormones can also make cellulite worse at certain parts of the month. Despite all of the anti cellulite things I do - it’s still there but it’s certainly improving!
Do all Gua sha at a 45° angle and down or out not up or in 🙏🏼
Thank you so much for the tip! Noted 🤓
@@RundownwithRachel i’ve done massage for 30 years and I miss getting a lymphatic drainage massage myself. I have been too lazy and cold to do much dry brushing before my shower, but you inspired me to get back to it! Never used gua sha for cellulite, but I’ve been using it with my clients and myself for relief and mobility (I have 😔 fibromyalgia) . Again, I am getting my big gua sha tools out again for myself because of your video. Your energy and excitement are contagious lovely ☺️
I have a metal facial one because I kept dropping the stone ones and breaking them. What kind of stone is that big one?
That’s gotta be scary dropping the stone! It’s a Bian stone from the brand Chel.
@@RundownwithRachel I’m not a clumsy person! I don’t know why but I broke 2 or 3. Maybe the bian is a harder stone. I’m gonna look into it. Thanks for posting this!
Can u do a body qua sha for cellulite on the arms n waist😊😊
Yes! I haven’t tried it but I’ve heard others have had great success!
How many times should we go over an area?
Great question! I do 4 strokes in each area but on the back of my legs I do more.
I was prepared to buy the Wildling facial set and the body brush but shipping came to nearly half the price of my order so I didn't bother.
Ugh that’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t bother either.
Can i use dry brushing on my hands? I have veins on my hands.
You sure can! The tutorial I follow (which should be listed in the description) actually starts with the hands!
Wow, so i can dry brush n do body guasha too on my body?
Yes! Isn’t that awesome???!?
@@RundownwithRachel yes it is. I only have a small guasha n I have a body scrub brush. How many times a day do I do this?
@@PatriciaHarris-rz5og i just do once a day and plenty of times when i don’t do it at all
Think you mean 'epiphany' not 'epitome' of results.
I noticed that rebounding has got rid of any cellulite and im 50. I just noticed one day my legs where clear and you get fit aswell.
Thank you, Trisha! As of today, I’m getting back into rebounding and your comment is even more encouraging to do so!
Thank you for sharing! I do rebounding since about 3 years, but I still have cellulite but who knows how I would look without my rebounder? 🤗 Doing nothing isn't an option, let's try to fight against it 😉
Why so many different paddles?
It’s a bit much I know.
The wooden one is a cost effective option.
The Chel stone has teeth and works REALLY well.
And then some people have found success just using their facial gua-sha!
I’ve either got to stop watching your videos or get a job, lol.
