Another RUclipsr saw the satin white finish turns yellow after a few months of playing. Do you see it happens to you? It is just too white to accept it is turning yellow … lol

I actually would love a tone knob on a single bridge PU guitar like this. Mostly to cut back a little bit of the harshness when playing/practicing leads. GREAT guitar either way. :)
Complete with a solid neon green fretboard...fuck it, add some solid blackout fretboard markers to one version and make it a Type O Negative edition 💚🤘
I have just got the EC black metal and cannot believe how good it is. That fact that it sounds so amazing when played acoustically really shows how well made it is. It really is a riff monster, but with 24 frets and easy access it can do the shreddy stuff, too. It's the perfect single cut for me.

And his last girlfriend cannot find a man who understands how the CAGED system leads to better foreplay (steel bars, cuffs, and ropes are not involved.) The man! The Legend! Der Fish!
Thanks for the review! Those tooling marks near fret ends though! As much as I love this brand, I had to return one LTD because of those. No matter how rounded the fret ends are, I won't accept that kinda crap from a (new) guitar.
This one actually exists for sale tho.. That Gibson Buckethead Signature is my favorite of all time and I actually went to the Nashville Gibson outlet at Opry Mills mall several times in the months leading up to the release trying to get my hands on one but they never did get one in for me to see in person =( Now it's so hard to find a decent example for a decent price, I doubt I'll ever get to see one in my life.. It's the guitar version of the Buick GNX. You can admire the ones that people are willing to share in videos or shows but you're never going to own one unless you're ridiculously wealthy and even then you have to convince someone to let go of theirs.. And yeah there is the Studio version but that's basically a 1985 Buick Grand National - not the same.
@WaurufEx not true bro… Gibson went to shit and basically shat on their whole legacy with the quality decline outrageous prices… They even added more fuel to the fire with the whole play authentic thing. EMG never bothered nobody and they have plenty of more modern options these days like the 57/66 pickups and the X pickups and the Het Set and Jim Root pickups etc. They have always been consistent and they sound iconic. And I want to point out that I own 2 guitars with Fishman Moderns. I switched from EMG to the Fishmans on one of those guitars even and I love them. I also love the EMG 81/60 set for example when it comes to a more old school metalcore tone as opposed to a djenty modern tone.
Those block letters on the headstock (that I think started with the Snakebyte) is fucking badass. I love it. I just wish there was black binding around the body like the headstock. I think it would have helped add a bit more emphasis on the edge because it can kinda look like a cloud from certain angles. Could be more metal.
This guitar is definetly up my ally never use the neck pickup i like the one volume never use the tone either so if i was on the market for a guitar this or any of the black or arctic will be my first look
Gonna go ahead and say that Fishmans are somewhat overhyped, and I would even say that particularly in a live setting the 81 actually fares better than the moderns.
Tried and true over several decades.. Legends become legendary for good reasons, not being mediocre or hit n miss.. Active EMG 81 always been super consistent from day 1 for decades now so, yeah you really can't go wrong with it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I love these, and I like the block logo. I think a black pickup ring around that white EMG would have really made it pop though. For me, the only problem is the price, but that's EVERY big name brand guitar nowadays. 15 years ago, this would have been a $500 guitar, not a $900 guitar. I understand inflation, but these prices we're seeing now are well beyond the standard rate of inflation. 💸💸💸
Any guitar with EMGs were easily over a grand 15 years ago. Not to mention this comes with locking tuners and stainless steel frets. The premium midrange are easily more bang for buck compared to what you got 15 years ago
Its hilarious how Ted pretty much inspired this series, hopefully he gets a cut, his sigs were pretty dope ! Now fingers crossed for Sammys contribution !!! 🔥🔥

Great great vid and review mate. Stupid question though: is this REAL WHITE or something like towards.. yellow-ish a bit? As i saw some other video from someone where he says is towards yellow. :D
I had the Black Metal I only got rid of it because of no inlays, I'm lame and need them! I love your choices of riffs! Great review and more than half of my collection are LTD or E-II always been the best for the price!
I have some of the fretboard sticker inlays on a pair of my Strats and they've fooled people with some pretty expensive guitars into thinking they were custom.
Thank fuck it has EMGs and not Fishmans. I absolutely detest every set of Fishman pickups that isn't the Keith Merrow sigs, and the fact that the Fluence Moderns in basically every guitar now infuriates me. Like Hunter said, EMGs are a classic for pretty much every subgenre of extreme metal and hardcore for a reason.
Well, actually almost no one uses EMG 81s anymore - outside of the metal core crowd. They’re just very noob friendly - no dynamics, they basically sound the same on almost each and every guitar you put them on. Thank god EMG evolved with the very decent sounding 57. (By the way, try fishmans how they’re meant to be played, in low gain mode. Otherwise they just out81 the 81s)
I think if it had a white fretboard with some sort of 12th fret design, this thing would sell like crazy! But there is also that Solar Vinter single cut as well
I agree, a white Fluence Modern would have been way better, but also, why is EMG 85 in the BRIDGE position not a thing on production guitars yet? I know a TON of people who agree it sounds way better than the 81. 🤷🏻♂️
Hi, how much does such a tool weigh? I really liked the guitar, but I want to know its weight so that my back wouldn't get tired during concert activities. Thank you for your answer.😊
I wish there were guitars like the ESP LTD Arrow series because that is my favorite guitar to actually play while seated. But I'd like some other configurations for pickups and electronics. And with the money I spent on my current arrow, I'm not gonna risk damaging it with my level 1 guitar modding skills. The Arctic model in this video does seem pretty nice, I like the curves.
I would prefer black pick-up ring with the white emg for this. It would balance out the black and white. I think it would it would still look "arctic white".
I'm looking for information regarding the type of nut used on the LTD EC Arctic Metal and can't find any. Would you happen to know what it's made of? Many years ago I purchased a Gibson Flying V and by the 4th day the nut broke because it was made of a cheap plastic material.
