Storm fan here. The Sleeman Centre was actually built on the same site as an old Eaton's department store, basically in the same "footprint" of the old store. As such, it's a little limited when it comes to walk-ability during a game. The concourse, in my opinion is quite narrow and during intermissions, it is usually over-crowded and it can talk a long time to walk from end to end. Other than that, the rink is a decent enough facility that should last for years to come. Sleeman Centre turns 25 this year. BIG improvement over the former Guelph Memorial Gardens (1948-2000) capacity 3,999 plus 300 Standing room.
@@Rink-Side_With_HitsClips it’s ranked perfectly tbh, it’s a lot nicer now that the renovations are done. Like you said, the venue is small but has a great atmosphere. I’m happy the arena I grew up playing in is starting to get the attention it deserves.
Okay.So the kingston person here and it was called Leon center and January the Slush Puppy bought the rights to the the the rank. And now it's called slash Puppy place. yes had two favorite rinks 1 and 2 and the worst rink I visited was the Sudbury old and not updated at all

As a Brantfordian, I’m surprised that the Civic Centre ranked so high. I grew up playing in that barn when it was run down.
Would love to catch a game there soon after the renovations that underwent last year- maybe it could ranked lower than expected after a visit

@@sensoryoverload6809 very well said - the Bulldogs organization were very wise to move the franchise to Brantford where they deserve to call home
@@Rink-Side_With_HitsClips Totally, Jr hockey works better in Brantford. Hamilton is more of a pro hockey kind of city.
@@sensoryoverload6809 Absolutely, expect Hamilton to reach towards the AHL for a potential market
Actually the capacity of the Dort Federal Event Center is 4021

Thanks for the confirmation, Slush Puppies Place it is 👍🏼 Expect more news and updates in the future regarding the new Sudbury arena
@@Rink-Side_With_HitsClips yeah sudbury is building a new arena basically right beside the old one is what I've heard so far (I live in sudbury)
67s arena is very.old but a new one is coming
Fyi the CAA arena in Brampton has a capacity of roughly 3500 and there isn't a bad seat in the building
I think Sudbury is too low yeah it's super old but that's what makes the arena kinda nice is the history and age
Kingston is slush puppie place
Aud holds 7,777
