My girlfriend and I started dating about 5 years ago and she introduced me to her ‘adopted’ family. Shortly afterwards her adopted father, Joe Abernathy received a call from The Colin’s Foundation asking if he would like to take a ride from Riverside to Santee Ca. on their B-24 as he was a WWII veteran. He got to the airfield only to find the plane he was going to be riding on was the B-24 Witchcraft… the same plane he flew over Germany on 25+ missions. (May be more if memory serves me right) He was the top turret gunner on this very plane that Motion RC has released. I bought the plane the very day I received the email stating it had been released in hopes of sharing it with “Joe”. With sadness in my heart, I’m sorry to say another great hero of that era has passed. He passed on Dec 25th 2017 just a few days ago and I received the plane today on the 29th. I’m almost done building it now but with a little less sense of urgency a little less glee in my heart but with more love in my heart for those that have soared before us. I will finish it and maiden it with Joe at his post. Thank you Joe for your service. As a veteran I Salute you, as a friend I will miss you.
Your opening scene with the flyby was just spectacular, great marketing and optics! My next purchase and waiting for the B-29, you guys gotta be working on that, right? 😁
Your welcome, were happy to share this hobby with you. It's wonderful folks like yourself that keeps us striving to bring out the best. 2017 has been a great year for RC and your going to love what we're bringing to 2018! Thank you for your support fellow airman. Thanks again John Ong.
Beautiful classic warbird thank's for sharing I don't know anything about this beauty I just want one I just ordered a B-17 & this needs to be in my hanger, so Sir Ryan can I use a Spectrum AR630 receiver & Spectrum smartpacks? great video 😉👍🛩
I just found out today that Witchcraft was based at RAF Rackheath/Station 145, which is about 15 miles from where I live. Looking at Google earth there are several bits of the original runway left one could probably grab a dawn flight from in the summer. Have to be careful though as it's on or close to the flight path of Station 123 RAF Horsham St Faith, now NWI Norwich International Airport, also another B24 base. The number of air bases here in Norfolk is truly amazing, and the reason I live here now, since I was stationed at one of them in the RAF. My father was involved in helping build some of the bases in 42/43.

My Grandma 👵 was a Rosie the Riveter and my Grandpa 👴 was a line man during World war 2 at Tinker Air FORCE BASE.
This is great. Motion RC is there for us every step of the hobby.
The level of engineering is fantastic!
This plane looks so awesome!
I had two uncles who flew in B-24s in the European theater, both participated in the Ploesti Oil Field Raid
Thanks Pilot Ryan

I definitely need to get me one of these Beauties 😍
With a name like Flying Fortress, you certainly do. Hopefully we'll have a B-17 eventually from FlightLine
Yay ! I will love to buy it. And I wants to change paint for RAF ( Royal Air Force) or RAAF ( Royal Australian Air Force) colour. I love it.
Nice review and great flying, I love a scale plane flown in a scale manner, unlike the flying demo video of this plane.
You did not show the wiring hook up,which is not shown clearly on the "instruction Booklet."
Does the pull through wire come with the plane?
They need a really large foam amphib. Grumman Goose, duck, Martin Mariner ect.
Pilots. Check. It. Out.
Discover RC I did, I did! lol
Discover RC. I can't stop.
Time for a Lancaster from FlightLine RC please !!?? all the US Bombers have been covered.
Beautiful aircraft !!!!!
Do you carry the F-86 Sabre ??
We do. Head to motionrc.com or motionrc.eu depending on where you reside and you can see all that we carry.
@@MotionRC Thanks a 1,000,000.
Does it come with a controller
Retractable landing gear?
I wish I had the witchcraft my great grandpa was the navigator in it

If the furnace will not run due to power outage, how is this thing going to work when you have to plug it into a wall outlet with a power outage?😂
