It does warm my heart to see everyone complaining about bombers in the comment section, makes me feel a little less alone when I go out and fly attackers and bombers tonight. Somehow Gajin, in all their reading to out aircraft in their "historically accurate and simulator game" forgot to realise that bombers were critical to victory in WW2. Hell, the whole reason that Fighter Planes exist was because Obersvation and Bomber aircraft used to cross the line of battle unchallenged, except by anti-aircraft, during The Great War. I want everyone to think about that for a moment, your P-51 and Bf 109 would not have existed without the presence of planes like the CR.42 (used for Recon once outdated) and the OS2U Kingfisher (designated Recon airplane). Fighters were built to intercept and protect observation and bombing aircraft. Yet somehow Gajin never learned this, and possibly half of the War Thunder community as well.

Well, in a bomber you should not go directly for the bases as you won't get any help that way. You will just end up closer to the enemy fighters than yours (which have to climb before reaching you). You can go for the bases only if you're in a fast bomber that can bomb it and then run away before enemy fighters can climb to you. Also flying in formation make it easier to focus bomber's firepower but it also makes it very easy to hit several bombers in a row... and with mouse-aiming it's pretty easy to be accurate and shoot 30 shells in your wings. So it is not that good of an idea. Bombers were never "fun" to play, all you do is navigating and rail-shooting any enemy fighters that come close to you, that's it (in RB anyway). It can be relaxing (especially with friends) but I don't see how it could be fun to play.

Random Naval Aviation story that has nothin to do with War Thunder. When I was a student pilot 25 years ago one of my instructors was a retired Naval Aviator (F-14 driver) and he had some badass stories. This one in particular was towards the end of his career in the late 80s early 90s time frame. He was on a cruise on some carrier I can't remember in the Caribbean, and they got a call that there was some Cessna 172 goin from the Bahamas to Miami and nobody could get him to talk to anybody on the radio. The FAA asks the carrier my guy was on to send somebody up to try and make contact with the dude. Guess who got tapped for that task. Yup, my instructor. He said they launched and intercepted the guy and tried visual and audio contact. The guy just waved and kept piddlin along. My guy said he flew in front of this dude, came from underneath him, rocked his wings, made the phone sign to the guy and he would just wave and keep trudgin along. Finally the FAA sent word to the carrier to splash the guy because they had gotten within the 12 mile limit and he still wouldn't talk to anybody. My instructor said he didnt wanna just blow the guy away so he decided to put him in the drink by makin a high speed pass over the top of him. My man said he came over the top of dude and the vortex off his F-14 folded the Cessnas wings up and down the guy went. He said he never found out if the dude lived or not but he did know that the carrier had already dispatched a SeaKing to fish the guy outta the water if he lived.
@Ridha Gherri because the FAA says you have to respond to radio traffic directed at you. Stay in contact with the ground, other aircraft, pretty much anybody unless you've had a failure of radio equipment, then you're supposed to abort your trip and return to your point of origin. Especially if you're entering American airspace. The Naval Aviators in this story even tried to establish visual communication and he still failed to acknowledge. He wasn't slumped over the controls or even blatantly ignoring them. The guy waved to the F-14s like they were puttin on an airshow for him or something. The size of the aircraft doesn't matter. The rules are simple; maintain radio communications when hailed unless otherwise unable. The dude could have waggled his wings and followed the Tomcats and nothing would have happened except some unpleasant questions from very peeved federal agents. And they didn't attack. They simply ceased his ability to fly lol.

Talk about nerves of steel, chatting about how they like their eggs, such Hero's !!
From the beginning to 0:39, sums up TBLF perfectly, and I love it :b
Nice Holy Hand Grenade reference
Dude I love your videos they make me happy when ever I see them
Bomber videos are always my favorites. I know you guys have a bad time in them but it makes for great comedy.
Know that your suffering is worth it. (Not that I'm laughing at your suffering but that the rapidly spiraling out of control situations are a joy to witness.
9:57 When IKEA only gives you half your parts
Bo finally a b 24 vid. ive been subbed for 2 years and ive been waiting fruitless for a new b 24 vid. THANK YOU
" I gotta get another beer" is still the funniest line ever
0:44
No no don't crash into my plane there, this is it's no no square
“I gotta go get another beer” is how I feel about launching war thunder, but I finish that one and rinse and repeat
3:45 I bet your waist gunner is hanging on for dear life 😂
I love how you can just see the waste gunners just standing straight like they have magnet boots while the bomber is plummeting to the ground
7:23 is so fucking funny. "What's the worst that can happen?" - Turns around and everyone is on fire and missing major-aircraft-ligaments.
Thank you bo for making a b24 video you didn't make one in years also hope you doing well you always make me laugh and i really appreciate that since online school is hard
I like how you included that sputtering B-29 incident from the B-29 vid, it was literally the only thing I kept watching the video for.
Omg bombers it’s been so long since I’ve seen any War Thunder creators do bombers
10:00 "They didn't give me all my airplane."
Finally i was waiting for a bomber video for so long....💖💖💖💖
The thing that fascinates me about the B-24 is that it actually few after the HE 177 did.
I love your vids Bo! Stay safe
I'm going to be a spacestation! 😂🤣😂🤣😂😂😅🤣😂😂😂 3:25
If _Memphis Belle_ was a War Thunder machinima, it'd be a five-minute short film.
Waldo is back! Love that guy!
Thanks Mike. I went through 9 beers for that video.
Good thing you stayed away from the bourbon! Dude, you are now “Waldo, the bomber video legend”.
8:51 Reminds me of Bomber Crew planes when they get shot down lol
3, 4, 5 o’clock rock!? Man we’re old!
Shook them moneymakers so hard, the tails fell off.
They simply ceased his ability to fly lol.
randomly hears "wait why are my engines off" one of the worst things to ever say when flying a bomber lol.
