Of course, the REAL reason they took the Ops bots away is because they still had the cheat modes turned on. Co-op bots cheat and know where the closest opponent ship is at all times. They can't aim at you, but they know where you're at and chase you if your HP is low enough to trigger their routines. I've tested this by taking a DD into co-op and being the only one on my team, turn around and head in the most idiotic, un-destroyer position capable, and they damn things STILL knew where I was and headed towards me, often at their detriment as the rest of the team got free broadside shots. You cannot use stealth at all against them and they know when you fire torpedoes because the INSTANT you do they start turning, even if they're too far away to detect them. And of course they use aimbots (natch) which hit with more precision than any human. Those cheats are fine enough with the stupid bots as that's what they need to remain a threat. But add all of those advantages onto the better AI and it's no surprise win rates fell. Still, as a player who does almost all Co-op, I wanted the harder bots and was disappointed that they were taken away; I just wanted their cheating turned off. I play co-op mainly because of the toxicity of asshole players; I work in customer service and security, so I get enough crap from the real world, I don't need a gutless keyboard warrior talk to me like I'm a subhuman for not being perfect at playing with pixels. Another thing that I have noticed about the bots is that they seem to prioritize certain ships above others regardless of tactical situation. Take the Pensacola for example. It seems to be a huge bot magnet for some reason. I once was playing Pensacola and witnessed a bot BB, that was being attacked by multiple friendly ships at close to mid range, turn its guns and fire at my poor ship from more than halfway across the map the moment I was spotted, along with all the other bots that could manage to get a firing solution on me. Maybe it is just my imagination, but I haven't had the same trouble with other ships I've played.

I am autistic and have been in many matches where people use Autistic to mean one sucks as they complain about bad players. Even have had many people send post battle messages to verbally assault me further because I don't stay in spectate after I sink, I get in another ship and join a new match. I have black listed so many people for their bs that I tend to have 2 or 3 on every team pre-black listed when the match starts!
THANK YOU JINGLES! I have been searching for you as a captain and grinding toward the anchorage playing every day. Now i get to hear your voice call out the wrong ships every time I fail at the grind! God bless you sir!
I use the Jingles voice for all my captains - there’s a check box in settings somewhere. It honestly has kept me playing. And I am a big Operations fan for the same reasons you give for CO-OP - my day job gives me all the stress I need, thank you. Appreciate the video, the voice-over, and your take on the game.
I will never forget the time I got called “random battle trash” and to “never play co-op”again in Co-op. He died to a 3 bots because he charged a flank alone in a cruiser. We still won the battle.
Often the worst are the most quick to throw others under the bus. The best retort is "well you're already dead and I'm not (or if possible, top score)"

Finally!! First in this time to enjoy Jingles content before anyone else! Looking forward to get another Captain Jingles to put on my Hood, he'll go well with his twin on my HMS Warspite.
I play a lot of co-op with my dad. He had a stroke so he can only use his right hand, and very, very limited use of his left. I got him an MMO mouse and binded movement and ammo switch to it, as well as R. It's not a perfect solution, but he gets along. And I myself do like Co-op because people are more chill, imo. Though the afk people irk the hell out of me. Edit: also, since we were all there once, at low tiers I'll ask "have you played for a while" or not. I then give a brief overview, and also beg people with torps "please, do NOT torp if ally is in front. You get penalized". I try to be nice since we were all noobs once.
I am pretty sure, you could also buy pedals, the ones for racing games to add more easy accessable "buttons", even if wows doesn't support it directly, you should be able to integrate them with a keymapper.
I was gonna say the same thing, but there were actually _two_ Tenryus on that team - one bot and one human (one assumes). The bot Tenryu was the first ship on the team to die, at 8:44 Then, at 9:18 , up in the top right hand corner of the map, actual, real life, flesh and blood Admiral sumthinorother was a little careless with his torpedoes.
when i was young and our gaming group where playing dota and CS , one of our players did not have hands, he played with his feet and honestly you could not tell, he was amazin at it
I once upon a time played a game with a guy with no arms or legs, he played with his nose. People complained he wasn't this or that, no one cared that he was disabled, only that he wasn't as good as they felt he should be. I am autistic, and people in warships use Autistic as a slur to mean you suck.
I really don't get the concept "I don't like coop so coop battles are useless and should be cancelled". You don't like them, you don't play them. Period. Another example of people putting their mouth in others things. And just to be clear, I play coop only when I'm having problems knocking out some mission and time Is running short.
Actually the Co-Op battles are quite fun, especially at lower Tiers. There's no hiding behind islands or anything, just tons of crazy drive-bys. They're also great for getting a feel for what a ship can do in terms of aiming, and practicing on a range of either fast or slow targets, angled or not. Not to mention learning the terrain on various maps to know where you can use your ship effectively. The alternative is hopping into a Random battle and getting cursed at by everyone for being a potato.
I use co-op for almost all of my major mission and directive grinding. It may take a few more battles, but I don't want to contribute to the toxicity of Random by being there to YOLO torp for hits and not care who wins or loses.
Coop - Short, brutal battles between small teams that rush headlong at each other with little regard for personal survival or trying to blame everyone else for your mistakes. It's glorious! I even met Jingles himself in a coop battle once. He'd just finished the Missouri grind and was testing it out, it was either his first or second game in it, I was in mine, and we had a stonking great time bulldozing through the opposition!
Amaziing! I missed you the 1st time around, and I was afraid that I was going to miss you again, since I'm gonna be working for me thesis until November. But now I can get you muahah
@The Mighty Jingles Your videos are always entertaining, yet informational and educational. Thank you for sharing. I did not know you could still win if all ships were lost. I just assumed it would end as a draw.
Thanks Jingles, that was a great video. I will add though, that I routinely see veteran players, often in coordinated squads, sailing at Tier III. Some seal-clubbing for sure, but some of us old-timers still get our jinglies off by close-quarter gun! gun! gun! whoosh-torpedoes! naval combat. Plus there's no radar :)
when you were talking about the bots at low tier, you forgot the primary contender: SEA. This server (which i am unfortunate enough to have to play on) has the smallest server population and it's known in WoT as that one server that has the bots also another major reason as to why people play coop battles is (especially in SEA) the low server population simply means it takes far too long to find a match in a regular battle
Co-op is also a valid way to practice basic ship-handling skills, like how much lead to give your shots or how your vessel responds to rudder commands when dodging torpedoes or maneuvering around islands.
I once used coop for this, absolutely is the best way to get a feel for a ship, every time I take a new ship into random I die! in fact, it wouldn't be warships if I survived the maiden voyage in a random!
Co-op battles are also great for 'I haven't played in a while, what are the buttons again?' I'm not awful, but I often go many weeks without playing a game. A Coop battle or three is great to 'remember' what you're doing.
Jingles Thanks for posting the 2nd video. I am squarely seated in that group for mulitipal reasons. However right now it is due Mostly too a busted arm. So I know the feeling.
(aka Morbo) JIIIIINGLES HERE I COME!!! Old man, you saved my day! =D =D =D BTW: good speech on CO OP mode and giving it's players some slack, you are the nicest and understanding mean guy I know. :D
I know this video is months old but for those of us watching it later in life: Fun fact about the South Carolina is that there were plans to configure her in a similar fashion to the Dreadnought due to the Navy not trusting the structural soundness of the turret roof to withstand overpressure from the 12" gun firing above it, let alone two of them. However, Congress intervened and slashed the budget for what they saw as an experimental ship and thus cementing the 18knt top speed and super firing 12" gun turrets instead of the planned 21 knot ship with more guns (albeit with wing turrets and same broadside weight, no superfiring guns.)
I've been playing quite a few battles in co op recently too. The low tier epochs of the navy campaign was horrible in regular games so just steamrolled through it in co op. In the process discovering just how fun it is to have a 40s reload on two sets of quad torpedo launchers each side. In one very Michael bay game I killed half of the enemy team in under five minutes, with not one but two instances of sailing between two guys and fining all the torpedoes at once. In contrast to tier nine and ten DDs where everything needs to be planned out a billion steps ahead and there are radars everywhere, it was actually surprisingly cathartic fun.
It's also a great place to have some good old fashioned BB brawls, since bots are too dumb to take advantage of pretty much anything. For me there is something cathartic about getting in a Bismarck, punching full speed ahead, watching the secondaries fly and still have a good chance at surviving.
Thanks for posting the low level Co-op match, I've been quite interested and enjoy watching these videos. I've been putting off getting the game because I have big issues with doing any sort of PVP, Knowing I can play against bots will let me at least try the game.
I think that PvtSirPeter should be commended with coming up with the ramming idea too as he says in chat before Halfhoot guns the engines and rams the S Carolina. He was really helpful in the chat so he seems to be a pretty good back seat captain!
11:11 I ask everyone in the future reading this and people rewatching Jingles, to pray for these people who can’t play like we can, and thank God that He has allowed us to be fortunate enough to enjoy these simple things that are only special to us
I play Co-op battles mostly because it is a more relaxed environment. Random battles are an extremely toxic environment that is just not necassary. I do agree that random battles are far more challenging, but if i wanted a high stress toxic environment I will just go back to work lol. Love the vids Jingles.
Jingles has valiantly led me to numerous victories aboard the HMS Cossack. I look forward to the day with great anticipation that I will have a Jingles transporter clone to sail yet another of Her Majesty's Ships
Believe it or not, after nearly 2 years of watching videos made by The Mighty Jingles I have finally decided to download WW and join the gameplay... I’m probably going to be exactly the poor player he described but I have high hopes to improve. Thank you for all the tips and tricks you have provided and I hope that a manual of sorts can be made of your commentary.
Joel, The game is inundated with people who think they have the right to dictate who is allowed to play. The progression goes faster today than ever, it isn't uncommon to see noob style players in tier 8 ships after a week of playing or less today, there are entitled people who will go as far as to send you post battle messages to verbally assault you for what you did wrong in their opinion. Co-op is usually a safe place to get a quick match in and have fun doing so, I tend to leave when I sink, I don't sit in spectate and talk trash as so many do. I find those people to be the most useless. They're dead after all, what use can they really think they are to a team when they're already dead. People will sit in spectate and talk trash, just don't be one of them yourself! Welcome to the game, I hope you have a good time!
watching your videos is much more fun than actually playing WoWS. I keep getting shoved into matches where i am the only T6 in a room full of T8 ships...
I have my Capt Jingles and use the co-op battles too. Less stressfull than the Random and makes for a nice break. Now im off to get my second Capt Jingles.
I love the Nassau. I charged straight between two enemies and fired 3 of my turrets into the broadside of one of them and sunk him. Realized my other 3 guns were pointing at the other guy, fired into his flat broadside and sank him too. Battleship guns akimbo!
Only in Co-Op battles can you take a Torpedo cruiser between two battleships and fire torpedoes at both at the same time. You can never do this with random battles due to players running away as fast as they can and camping on the map borders.

Oh my god! I put you on the Exeter 🙈
Still "jolly good show" and a "slim chance we might actualy win this..." 🤣
Oh salt lord, please forgive as I put my second Jingles on Aircraft carrier Hermes, because I enjoy irony
@@armorhide406 Or "You lost your ship because of the quality of YOUR play not mine."
"This is getting out of hand! Now, there are two of them"
Just the perfect way to send us to insanity
Be sure, quoting a science fiction fantasy epos character, owned by Disney, doesn't get you in legal trouble. 😉 you never know... they are tge EA of Hollywood after all
I hear Rita in the background in the beginning this time! I hope everyone has a nice day, and happy gaming to everyone.
I like the MMO mouse solution you created for your dad. That’s really genius.
I am pretty sure, you could also buy pedals, the ones for racing games to add more easy accessable "buttons", even if wows doesn't support it directly, you should be able to integrate them with a keymapper.
The day i got into wows i used your promo to get you and the warspite and i am truly greatful for that and i have enjoyed the game ever since then
The content on the channel is great keep up the good work
Enjoyed it immensely Jingles....Very nice showing how Ram can be a strategy and how low tier learning is part of the game. Kudo's sir.
In the second battle got to love the guy telling the bot Tenryu to watch his torps.
He a little confused but he got the spirit
I was gonna say the same thing, but there were actually _two_ Tenryus on that team - one bot and one human (one assumes).
The bot Tenryu was the first ship on the team to die, at 8:44
Then, at 9:18 , up in the top right hand corner of the map, actual, real life, flesh and blood Admiral sumthinorother was a little careless with his torpedoes.
The thumbnail is awesome Jingles...(Judah) Ben-Hur...one of my all time favorite movies (yes I have a few years on you). Well done!
Imagine my suprise when the 3v3 ranked sprint match was only tier 9 premiums
Excellent way to wake up on my day off, grandkids in the house and a new Jingles video waiting. Life is good!
A second The Mighty Jingles captain, you're the best Jingles, Thanks 🥳🇬🇧
Thank you. Grabbed my Captain Jingles this morning. And yes your commanding my Warspite.
when i was young and our gaming group where playing dota and CS , one of our players did not have hands, he played with his feet and honestly you could not tell, he was amazin at it
I once upon a time played a game with a guy with no arms or legs, he played with his nose. People complained he wasn't this or that, no one cared that he was disabled, only that he wasn't as good as they felt he should be. I am autistic, and people in warships use Autistic as a slur to mean you suck.
@@myopicautisticmetal9035 are you alright ?
So you're telling me that Spitfires fly over your house on a regular basis? 14:10
well it IS Jingles sooo ... yeah. those were probably spitfires
@@StumpyDaPaladin Remember he is getting kitchen renovations done this week. You can hear cutting and banging in the background.
@@Panzermeister36 A V12 merlin powered jigsaw I hear then?
Excellent movie reference Jingles. And thanks for another good video as well.
@@stoneymahoney9106 Yup, perfect for ships like the Massachusetts that like to get up close and brawl
@@jamesfogel7998 I don't think I've ever got less than 3 kills in my Okhotnik playing coop
I've been waiting for the captain mission re run
Thx u Jingles !
That cunning plan, I knew, the moment you brought it up Jingles, that since Halfoo has more points than the enemy team, he can ram the SC and win.
Amaziing! I missed you the 1st time around, and I was afraid that I was going to miss you again, since I'm gonna be working for me thesis until November. But now I can get you muahah
@The Mighty Jingles
Your videos are always entertaining, yet informational and educational.
This server (which i am unfortunate enough to have to play on) has the smallest server population and it's known in WoT as that one server that has the bots
also another major reason as to why people play coop battles is (especially in SEA) the low server population simply means it takes far too long to find a match in a regular battle
Your new intro is so good! I love it. Keep up the awesome videos!
Jingles, everyone has a Capt Jingles. Every damn game that I play, almost all the players have you as their "voice". You're a fuckin' legend!!!
only 2 hours in likely my best time to watch a new episode of Jingles
Ironically I always use my Jingles on the Warspite!!
Great videos and commentary....... and advice too!
"jinglealltheway" kinda reminds me of "82nd all the way" by sabaton^^
I just unlocked you and game you the graitest spots of all my british ships. You're now my captain on the implacable :D
Co-op battles are also great for 'I haven't played in a while, what are the buttons again?'
I'm not awful, but I often go many weeks without playing a game. A Coop battle or three is great to 'remember' what you're doing.
The Fiji is one of my favorites. So when I got my own personal Jingles there was no other consideration. Fiji/Jingles for the win.
I saw the Ben Hur thumbnail and I fangirled.
Oh my god! I can put him on HMS Warspite AND HMS Hood!
Thank you Jingles for continually making great videos...i have been a long time fan ever since the wonky graphics days of WOT.
very considered narrative thank you you are a nice guy for remembering those less able
Jingles Thanks for posting the 2nd video. I am squarely seated in that group for mulitipal reasons. However right now it is due Mostly too a busted arm. So I know the feeling.
booyah.
thank you. high intensity games can be tough with disabilities.
that's for sure.
(aka Morbo) JIIIIINGLES HERE I COME!!!
Old man, you saved my day! =D =D =D
BTW: good speech on CO OP mode and giving it's players some slack, you are the nicest and understanding mean guy I know. :D
Thank you jingles great way to start my weekend almost ready to start our " Braai "
Thanks for saying what other folks won't, that's why your the mighty one....
This makes me think of the AI Miyogi that rammed YOU around 3 years ago Jingles, great vid
Co-op is the perfect place to go flog the snot out of something after getting stressed out and smashed in random or ranked battles.
>Musashi and Georgia

Pommern: "Allow me to introduce myself"
I think that PvtSirPeter should be commended with coming up with the ramming idea too as he says in chat before Halfhoot guns the engines and rams the S Carolina. He was really helpful in the chat so he seems to be a pretty good back seat captain!
11:11 I ask everyone in the future reading this and people rewatching Jingles, to pray for these people who can’t play like we can, and thank God that He has allowed us to be fortunate enough to enjoy these simple things that are only special to us
0:39 But will that code get me a Turbo Man action figure? It's the hottest new toy of the Christmas season, everybody's gotta have one!
A SMS Nassau going for a ram... Historically accurate I would say.
I play Co-op battles mostly because it is a more relaxed environment. Random battles are an extremely toxic environment that is just not necassary. I do agree that random battles are far more challenging, but if i wanted a high stress toxic environment I will just go back to work lol. Love the vids Jingles.
I have never been this early for a jingles video. Cheers to all my east coast peeps, insomnia is much fun
Boats, boats, boats, thank you jingleyman, for the boats show.
watching your videos is much more fun than actually playing WoWS. I keep getting shoved into matches where i am the only T6 in a room full of T8 ships...
I'm working my way up to Minotaur with you mate. Simply because you once mentioned it's one of your favs so I figured I'd put you on it :D

To honour you, you ol' bean! Cap'n Jingles in top place :D
Awesome. I already have my first captain Jingles on the tier 6 british CV, but now I can have ships misidentified on my tier 4 CV as well!
Yes i have Jingles and he is on my warspite and he also goes on my thunderer. The best ship was the Pommern with the secondary Tirpitz Jingles build.
Thank you Jingles!
Thanks so much I love my new captain
The Aegir was hilariously devastating in this ranked season.
hilariously. Jingles was in fact already on my Warspite.
I am not a good player. Its encouraging to hear Jingles say some good things to the scrubs like me, stuck under Tier 4 and still learning
Thx for the acessibility pep.
I have made the Happy Mistake of Using Jingles as a Captain in Clan Battles and getting really anxious when he said "Enemy Destroyer Spotted"
I just saw this and bummer, would have enjoyed a Jingles Captain
Thumbs up for the the Ben Hur thumbnail!
I have my Capt Jingles and use the co-op battles too. Less stressfull than the Random and makes for a nice break. Now im off to get my second Capt Jingles.
The Nassau has been the BB I had the most fun (and therefore my most successful)... I kept it for 4 years!!!
Upvoted just for the Ben Hur reference.
1:03 - "This is getting out of hand. Now, there are TWO of them."
I really enjoy these below-tier-7-battles we occaisonally get \o/
Thanks for the code Jingles :)
