Nice to see the opposition congratulating the Worcester. When I did the same recently, getting a "Solo Warrior" in a DD, all four opposing ships reported me.
Jingles mentions Hindy being fairly good in the current meta, but honestly, that's a bit of an exaggeration. Because Hindy isn't particularly manoeuvrable and a good Yama/Thunderer/Vermont/Republique/Kremlin player will only miss so many times before figuring out how the Hindy is gonna dodge and factor that in. Suddenly the Hindy's lost 3/4s of its health in citadel damage and can barely heal anything back. Hindy isn't good. She's just less bad than shorter range ships. She could really do with a buff of her 30mm plates to 32mm. Hopefully once the Dead Eye skill gets nuked she and other cruisers will be a bit more playable.
@@Terrados1337 I don't think it would be. All it would do is bring Hindy back to how she was before the proliferation of 430+mm guns in the BBs. 32mm plating would mean you could bounce incoming BB shells if you're well angled, but it wouldn't make you immune to punishment, especially at long range where your turtleback works against you and guarantees full pen damage. Hindy would go back to being the tanky brawler that BBs had to work to take down, rather than being a ship that functionally is no different from a Minotaur.
The next patch is to delete 1 cruiser captain skill point each time the ship joins a battle. After you reach 19 deletions the ship itself is deleted from your inventory. They just hate Cruiser players.
Ahh, Pinafore, I went to see it at the local theater many years ago, ended up memorizing at least one patter song which I still remember... "I grew so rich that I was sent By a pocket borough into Parliament I always voted at my party's call And I never thought of thinking for myself at all! (He never thought of thinking for himself at all!) I thought so little, THEY REWARDED ME! By making me the ruler of the Queen's Navee! (He thought so little, they rewarded he, By making him the ruler of the Queen's Navee!)"
So the question remains: What exactly WERE WarGaming thinking making a skill that punishes players for having other players spotted...? What's the logic in that?
yes you only need A 10 point captain to use deadeye but you would want another 4 points to make you that 10% more stealthy to use/activate the deadeye skill.
"I could narrate paint drying and it would be more interesting than this" That's funny because I enjoy watching jingles videos so much that it has become part of my Tuesday lunch routine. Each week I sit down to eat while listening to the melodious voice of a pleasant British gentleman who talks about "paddling window lickers".
Oh Jingles, you know the solution to the Dead Eye skill will be one of 3 things. Cruiser captains get an extreme armor buff, cruiser captains getting an extreme range shrink on their , or cruiser captains getting some "counter dead eye" skill that ends up increasing shell dispersion by 10% if shot at by guns larger than 255mm outside of their spotting range. It'll be one of those 3 that will end up ruining the game again and have every BB captain whining that dead eye doesn't meta anymore.
No Jingles, they're reworking the commander rework because people weren't shelling out doubloons for commander respecs like they hoped, which is pretty much what you hinted at in a recent Mingles episode. I believe your exact words were something like, "They wouldn't be reworking it unless they were losing money over it."
One of my few experiences so far with the Dead Eye skill since I haven't played so much this patch is when I took the Roma out full stealth build with DE and from about 16-18km out I slapped a destroyer with an HE salvo where all but I think 2 or 3 out of 9 of my shells didn't hit and did about 8k or so damage, taking a literall chunk out of his ship and if that destroyer had a citadel or didnt get the dd damage reduction from BBs he would of blew up, that's how accurate that shot was. After that match I closed the game and understood why people complained about the skill being busted. I am used to also yeeting cruisers with the Roma, but DE makes it so easy that anyone broadside 8/10 times is dead, regardless of how far away they are.
Great vid Jingles, recon you can do another couple secondary build videos🤣🤣 those are hillarious! Cheers for given me somethin other then uni to do on a tuesday night, you’re a legend mate. Cheers from Australia🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Its been 'GONE' (dead-eye) for a long time now. The Lyon is a paper boat ready to sink. The guns are so so weak, its a cryin' shame. We haven't play her in 18months. Almost never see her in game play now-a-days.
As a none player, it strikes me that with this DeadEye skill, the enemy needs to get a ship or several within range to sit up and shout "Hey here I am" at regular intervals. I know, easier said than done, but...
"I could narrate paint drying and it would be more interesting than this." Well Actually Jingles ... that probably would be fairly interesting; knowing you, you'd come up with some entertaining historical tale about paint on warship hulls!
I love the fact made by jingles that battleships fear the Shimakaze the most! My Shima is a fast torp reload legendary shima running F3 torps that can travel at 85 Knots! She also has pretty good AA also. She is my most deadly DD in my collection of DD's. Deadeye has made cruisers nervous enough that dd's can have enough space to operate instead of being deleted in the first minute of the game by cruiser radar.
I think I've had the most fun in the Lyon over any other BB in the game, even bofore dead eye. Sure it's not necessarily a great ship, but you just can't beat firing such a massive broadside. At range it suffers, sure, but within about 11km - 13km you're pretty much guaranteed a dev strike on a cruiser and even some BBs just due to the sheer volume of shells blanketing the area, giving almost always full pens (at least in my experience).
A very enjoyable episode. I'm still stubbornly driving a Minator and a Neptune around looking for a way around back end of map soap droppers, hoping desperately not to be the mug who has to pick it up. The problem I constantly run into is, being abandoned by captains that also don't like picking up bars of cleansing agent, and getting surrounded when in the silly belief that there may be an escape when there is nobody spotting the BB's surrounding both sides of the low topographical islands my high firing guns can take advantage of. When I hear the call 'Teammates' I just scoff and wish I had some.
Actually Jingles: - 3:37 the Aoba is within the Lyon's detection range - 13:10 that looks like 2 hits out of 3, not a single hit - the salt mines are nice places to visit during your vacation, you should try visiting Wielizcka outside Krakow if you have the chance
Jingles: “we’re probably going to have to put up with this shit for a couple more months” War Thunder players having to put up with ghost shells for the past 7 years or so: “First time?”
Just finished this video after falling asleep about 20 minutes in yesterday evening. Sneaky way to get double views Jingles! Reminds me why I don't play battleships.
7:06 That is why I stopped playing at all... not that I've been insulted very often as a DD while doing my spotting job, but it was always very appreciated and I felt useful. Now I have to check that I didn't accidentally do more harm to multiple bb on my side by discovering an enemy. At least that is what I feel. There is no logic behind that skill...
After years of 25-plus hours weekly of playing WoW, I'm taking a break from it after the Commander Rework. These videos get more views that any other World of Warships content online, so you KNOW Wargaming has to be watching. What would you do to the commander re-work skill if you were in charge of re-designing it? I know some of you have ideas! Post them here so hopefully someone from Wargaming reads it!
The fact that Wargaming didn't pick up on the Deadeye skill doing this is amazing. Some real muppet must have put the skill in the suggestion list and had the influence to keep it there.

Pineconez owes an apology to that worcester for being unnecessarily mean when he's not doing anything wrong.
Not to mention for all those Radars.
he was talking about the first that kept shooting broadside on. and got deleted.
@@wickedtruth6849 Which was also the same one that fired up his radar whenever asked.
Also since Pinecone ignored MULTIPLE opportunities to shoot at the Montana that killed him.
“I’m not gonna show you the whole 12 minutes of this game”
*-Checks video timer; about 13 minutes left-* Uh-huh, suuure Jingles.
Actually Jingles:
- 3:37 the Aoba is within the Lyon's detection range
- 13:10 that looks like 2 hits out of 3, not a single hit
- the salt mines are nice places to visit during your vacation, you should try visiting Wielizcka outside Krakow if you have the chance
The deadeye skill has made Battleships into what WoT arty used to be.
It still is, Ushio, WoT arty is just as annoying and frustrating to play against now as it was.
well done!!
you must sing and dance for us Jingles!!!
26:00 - "Never fcuk with my Monty"
Epic xD
There are definitely almost always destroyers around here...The Mighty Jingles has a destroyer named Akizuki as his constant companion. 😁💯✌
Jingles: “we’re probably going to have to put up with this shit for a couple more months”
War Thunder players having to put up with ghost shells for the past 7 years or so:
“First time?”
Hisparkos:
@@satagaming9144 never heard if those must mean. SPARKSPANOS
And yet War Thunder is the far better game. PERIOD
Just finished this video after falling asleep about 20 minutes in yesterday evening. Sneaky way to get double views Jingles! Reminds me why I don't play battleships.
The Lyon is like a shotgun
16 barreled shotgun
Me, a confused blitz player watching this video: What happened over there?
I love the text: "dead ice kill" ; "jedi skill" 🤣🤣
Dick-Silent be, It was the cat!
All. (reassured) It was ? it was the cat!
Captain-They're right, it was the cat! (producing cat-o'-nine-tails)
4:51 f for fuso. More then half full of their hp and got their ass piece.
The new meta has made playing the Asashio fun, cause you know where to look for all the BB’s
Adored the Lyon with a partial secondary build and AR. Those were the days. A hilarious cruiser killer.
Bloody cool Jingles !!!
They nerfed the hell out of my Smolensk, and as a CA player, the current meta is just not fun any longer. Glad to hear that a rework on the rework in imminent.
Thanks for the heads up, Jingles and take care.
Who wants to see Jingles narrate paint drying?
Wow, a civilized, friendly, strangers actually using tactics game of wows.... I now have seen it all....
At 0:58 I pissed myself laughing with that dude’s encouragement/joke
@jingles I never did pinafore but I was the very model of a modern major general from pirates of penzanse
And as always. Keep up the videos. Through the last at least 12 months it has been a big part of what has kept me going from one day to the next
I'm not going to talk about it - and you bang on about it.
This guys FoV though...
You mentioned your fans who don't play. That was me, followed you over from tanks even though I'm a console peasant. Did pick up ships when it hit console but it's a different animal
“Don’t”
“Fuck”
“With”
“My”
“Monty”
...
“Nice throw worcester”
*worcester doesn’t throw and secures the win*
Pineconez- I’m a God!!!
EDIT: I’m a dumbass.
there were two worcs, the comment about throwing was directed about the one wot sunk a few seconds earlier
@@OutbackCatgirl Yea, that was miss on my part 🤦♂️ Thank you for the correction
@@Code1776 is all good, it's easy to miss
I am so glad I walked away from WOW six months ago, best decision of my life. And from the looks of things it hasn’t gotten any better and still going downhill at a rapid pace.
Can’t wait for the triple Lyon deadeye replay
"I could probably narrate watching paint dry"
Ask The Chieftain how that went when he tried it.
Thanks Jingles.
Ah, detonations. The game mechanic that absolutely should not exist.
HMS Hood agrees
@@Najolve, I was thinking the same thing ...
These videos get more views that any other World of Warships content online, so you KNOW Wargaming has to be watching. What would you do to the commander re-work skill if you were in charge of re-designing it? I know some of you have ideas! Post them here so hopefully someone from Wargaming reads it!
I come to these videos mainly for Jingles laugh.
The fact that Wargaming didn't pick up on the Deadeye skill doing this is amazing.
Some real muppet must have put the skill in the suggestion list and had the influence to keep it there.
Happens when you don't listen to the testers you actually employ...
"Here, test this early to find issues."
"These are the issues we found..."
"Nope, looks fine, spreadsheet sais so. Going live."
Jingles would you be interested to look into World of Warships Blitz game videos?
Actually the correct term is a torbush jingles.
(I would know as i have been in the Australian navy since the day before it was formed and sunk a submarine in both world wars by jumping off the right side of the HMAS perth and bopping it on the noggen).
