Annapolis - it occurs to me that if a piece of artillery was firing as fast as the guns on this ship, they would quickly overheat and melt. Maybe it's the engineer in me.
5:02 “He hasn’t actually been spotted yet those shots were remarkably close”. Me looking 5 seconds earlier where he pokes his nose out the smoke screen and gets detected. Prime Jingles content.
Jingles "the enemy sub hasnt been detected for a while" *Enemy team caps its 3rd health buff* Jingles "that sub could be anywhere" What is it you like to say about people that cant read a mini map? Lol
"...and this is really kind of weird, cause he hasn't actually been spotted(...), and some of that incoming fire was remAAAArkably accurate" Annapolis spotted exiting smoke 20 sec earlier, mowing at a crawl speed.
To be fair to Jingles, he's explained before that when he's recording his commentary, his view of the video is actually really small. Combine that with his eyes not being what they used to be, and you get the classic Jingle-isms.
The somers was running RPF as well, you can see he pings the MM before the sub even takes the buff. Probably because the sub surfaced and the rpf changed
"We gonna need to see salvo firing to know the reload time" *Meanwhile, you can see the exact reload time down in the utilities bar Never change, old man 😂
Apparently, he watches these things in the small preview display on his editing software as he records his narration, so he can't actually read it. I don't know what editing software he uses, but I'm certain it's a lot smaller than the non full-screen player in YT.
The sub made it very clear where he was when he took the buff, just South of the cap circle btw. Pretty sure the Somers saw that and sent torps down that way even before he was spotted. Good game that was.
The ad before this video: "I just took a mood arousal gummy...." And now I can't stop thinking about how funny it would be to watch this video from her perspective. "Oh my gosh, your SHELLS are so BIG! Yes! Yes! You set my bow on FIRE!!"
Jingles I was watching closely. With out the Burst mode. After the captain skill kicked in. He had a reload of 0.9 sec. When he went and used the reload booster it was 0.2 sec. on his 8 " main guns.
That was a primer on what can happen when you avoid the fatal rush of feces to the cranium. Good teamwork between the DD, the Devastator and the Annapolis. You and Rita have a good day and please make sure Hjusie and Akizuki have an adequate supply of treats and scritches. 🐈🐈⬛👑✌️🖖
He was detected around the 4:45 mark then 20 seconds later Jingles says about him not being detected and how good the shots at him were during those 20 secs, classic Jingles missing the yellow writing.
Yeah that guy was smashing his targets, dont think he could have done too much else there to prevent his death. Finished the devastation and the minotaur as fast as he could but his last salvo didn't have the RNG he needed
Yeah, I just started using the Annapolis myself, and I'm not really sure how much I like it. However, I have noticed that the 8" APs on both the Des Moines and the Annapolis have some very good penetration, even against battleship armor. They are kind of glass cannons. They do a ton of damage, but they can't take that much themselves.
To be specific Jingles the Annapolis reload is 2.1 seconds with Halsey and the full reload buff. (yes i am paying attention) THIS THING SHOOTS FASTER THEN THE GEARING! In fact, it gives the....whats that tier ten Japanese gun boat called again? Gives that thing a run for its money.
My dream trip is visiting Bovington Armor museum and coming across our favorite gnome. Since it's England He can buy the first round at the closest pub and talk of Ship battles gone by and Akizuki....(cat not the ship). You can always dream.
@@kad9964 Yeah man, and it basically got you killed too, because he would not have had that last salvo. Awesome game still, and your div mate did well but it was too close because of that bug.
A masterful job... and an excellent choice of replay by Jingles, allowing him to demonstrate details about Arms Race mode, as well as all the teamwork and intelligent play!
Last time I played an Amrs Race battle was before the super ships came out. I remember one of my team mates bashing on me for being too passive in my Hindenburg just as I passed 200 000dmg. Match ended right after I brawled against a half health Yamato and won. Became MVP (with huge margin) and did just over 320 000dmg.
Fun fact: Annapolis is T11 supership with 203mm guns. The Exeter is a premium T5 British cruiser and it has 203mm guns. The Genova is also a T5 cruiser, although Italian and also has 203mm guns, but it was a Twitch prime reward IIRC. 203mm guns at T5 is pretty wild.
The rate of fire was impressive, but I was surprised at how inaccurate the fire was (not to mention, how many shells went into islands when he was sheltering). Would have thought he would have sunk much more tonnage...
The DD had spotted that the heal buff on the edge of the central cap had been taken, so the sub was on the surface there but must have submerged to get into the cap a bit then waited for the BB's to close in a bit before surfacing.. not bad play by the sub, he timed it to the last second
Waiting for the doom division of an Annapolis, Austin, and Harugumo(or some other gunboat destroyer) to appear. The title could be "How much dakka do you want? Yes" or something like that
Why did the score change from 320:280 to 300:300 when the Somers had been the last 1 alive for a bit and was capping? I thought the only thing that impacted points was controlling the cap and the points won or lost for kills. Once he capped, the points started to tick up. But if the timer had run out and no one capped it would have been a draw unless it had happened earlier?? Is there some other way to earn/lose points that I have never noticed before?
Enemy team might've won if the sub didn't panic-dive and waited a bit longer. Also, because picking up buffs provide a small amount of points, the enemy team just needed one more to win when the scores were tied, so if the Iwami headed towards those buffs, it might've been a different story.
Jingles, as ex seaman do you know if it's true that the ammunition for big naval guns fire shells that get progressively larger - from magazine to magazine? I'm sure I read it somewhere but my tired old brain can't recall from where.
Great team fight for division. It's pity that XP reward is heavily decreased, 2-3 years ago such result would give 4-4.5k base XP. I remember days when even such noob as me got 4.8k base xp per battle( this autumn XP challenge had around 4.4k base as best result on server (submarine got it, no surface ships are capable to get such numbers today)
I've discovered I can save myself a LOT of viewing time by canceling the video whenever Jingles equivocates (it's not good, it's not bad). It happens on almost EVERY video.
Thanks Jingles for featuring my replay!
Very smart playing
Nicely done.
I think that should also made your ship faster. Without all the weight you fired through your guns :D I enjoyed your reaplay.
congrats, you're famous !!
Beyond spectacular! You're a god among mortals, well played mate.
Peace from Oz.

Ah yes, the good old 3-kill-kraken. When you do so much damage, that jingles decides that you just deserve this award :P
He might have meant the divisional one? I forgot the name but they got it for the 7 divisional kills & the icon looks similar-ish?
To be fair, I didn’t look at it too close myself and thought it was the Kraken award, but it being the division 7 kill award makes sense
@VaynomTyrendian yes, Jingles mistook Coordinated Attack (the division 7 kill kraken) for the Kraken
the moment you realize that jingles only looks at pictures XD he saw the tentacles in the coordinated attack and thought "kraken"
@@UnsolicitedContextCoordinated strike, which does have a medal similar looking to the Kraken.

Epic troll from Jingles there at the end
Could do with some smaller wheels. These alloys are massive
That burst fire against the Satsuma gave me brain damage
Imagine using the burst fire in a ship that has a sub 2 sec reload

Jingles, cap your framerate to 60 or 120 when recording.
Your 60fps videos lately look more like 30fps because of bad frame pacing.
Eh, a Kraken Unleashed with 3 kills? Am I missing something? Or do you mean Coordinated Attack? Anyway, nice one!
If HMS Devastation has 16 guns, does that mean we will get to see a triple Devastation division like we get to see triple Lyon divisions??!!
