Germans in WW1, when they encountered the USMC Bde attached to the 1st INF div gave them their nickname - captured officers said they fought like devils and were mobile like dogs across the battle-scared terrain. They Marines ate it up being called Devil Dogs.

my father (a retired ww2 USMC Capt) didn't want me to join the USMC, unless i wanted to go camping with mud and mosquitoes for most of my career. i went USN. occasionally i ran into someone who recognized my last name, and asked why i was in the navy. my reply, which always produced "engaging" conversation: "I would've joined the Corps, but i failed the physical--my head wouldn't fit the jar." btw, good vid!

If this was an attempt at a battlecruiser towards the end of WW2 or even post-war years, 206mm would have been more than enough to deal with any surface threat from what was left of Axis forces or even from the Soviet Navy. But whatever the World of Warships team wants to do, nice replay from a fellow Marine.
