@@melissajones2710 I use an Apple TV. I'd imagine there must be a way to make it work with an iPhone, though.

I have my projector hooked up with hdmi to my hp chromebook. The picture is great, but no sound. Do I turn off Dolby sound in the Disney+ website I'm streaming from or the laptop itself? I couldn't find the settings on the Disney+ app. Any help is much appreciated😭 It's giving me a headache😅

If you're using chrome cast you can change the surround sound mode in the audio settings to stereo only. That fixed this problem for me on disney+ plus a few other streaming sites.

It's weird I put movies from my PC onto a USB and try them with my PC and there's sound,but when I plug the USB into the projector I'm only getting sound on some of the movies,so I've looked up sound settings on my PC and it doesn't have dolby so it should work with sound all the time I've changed my hdmi cable and I'm still getting some movies with sound and some that ain't playing the sound at all I'm not a tech guy so I was wondering if u had any ideas as to why I'm only getting sound on some movies but not other this is frustrating me now can u help me with this many thanks I look forward to your advice
Its a crappy projector anyway, we get what we pay for after all… best use is with Chromecast

Maybe you can help. I am sending wireless hdmi to my projector in the garage so it matches tv in living room. I can get sound to work when I turn off dolby but is there a way to keep dolby on at main TV but some how block it at projector input. Like some sort of inline interference that won't send dolby though the hdmi
Hmm not that I am aware of!
I am just playing my files with a sd card or thumb drive from the projector and the sound is very very low. Wish they has an update for the projector that would take care of the problem.

I just got a new projector and saw that this happens to some people when using it. I want to get a sound bar/home theater system to hook up to it. Would this happen if the sound bar has Dolby audio?

Thank you. I was frustrated with a Toptro X1 that I was trying with a Chromecast 2 and an Apple TV and no sound in the main streaming services. I changed Dolby 5.1 to stereo and now it’s working.
