Thanks so much, I have the same projector, I bought the exact same converter, it worked a treat, it didn't at first but it did once I turned everything on and off again, it worked on the white light mode on my Majority sound bar.
I have firestick and Epson Projector and HDMI ARC sound bar. how to connect all three and how to get sound out to HDMI arc sound bar. any help would be appreciated
im having issues with mine. i have my projector installed, running an HDMI cable to my box, i have a Firestick on the converter and then the audio RC aux goes out to the receiver thats connected to my 5.1 surround sound. It just wont connect. It was good at first then my firstick had issue and all i did was disconnect the firestick, sent it back and reordered a new one and connected JUST the firestick and now no sound at all.
Not at all, it’s 1 to 1 on the outputs. The box just splits into another audio output not video. However there isn’t any audio lag, I’ve updated mine with Bluetooth speakers and works like a champ. I’ll have to make an updated video with the full setup.
@@Robert_Cain Hey I appreciate your response But I wanted to know what is the exact model . Like if I wanna buy one like in the video , what do I search. ? Epson cinema 3 lcd ? , I don’t think it’s the model. The model supposed to be like 353xxxx etc… or whatever
Great question, technically you can’t as they only carry 2 channel stereo audio. You will need use HDMI or a coaxial cable. In regard to the video, this was just a mock up of how to get audio to an external source.
This is my older projector and for whatever reason this model just has receiving ports. In other words, it can receive video and audio but it doesn’t have the ability to send it out.
I have this exact same set up, hdmi to projector, hdmi to converter and on the other side of the converter I put the fire stick, but when I turn it on everything works fine for like 10 seconds but then the fire stick shuts off and restart and it keeps doing that, do you know why it keeps happening I need help !!!
That’s a great question: unfortunately, I’ve never experienced that issue. (Knock on wood) I did find this online: Power-cycle your Fire TV Stick, the good way: Just unplug the power cable from the wall. And do the same with your internet router. Then wait around two minutes and then put everything together again. Check back to see if that screen is gone. Check on how your Fire TV is wired. Make sure you are using the HDMI extender, the one that came in the box (the six inches one, with female and male HDMI ports, your Fire TV Stick goes in the female port and the male one goes into one of the HDMIs of your TV). Also, try a different HDMI on your TV and a different power plug. Have you tried a different USB cable as well? The power cable goes from the outlet in your wall to the side of the Fire TV Stick, make sure you are not connecting the USB end to the back of your TV. Check for updates: Once you get back to the home page follow this path: Settings →My Fire TV → About → Check for software updates, and allow your device to install any pending component. If none of these tricks are working... Reset your Fire TV Stick. Hold the U-Turn Button + the LEFT side of the circle. Hold them for 15 seconds, Then allow your device to reset. After this, you will be able to set up again and fix any of these software issues.
My prjector to my surround sound has voice lag even with the hdmi hooked up i dont know if its the streaming thing maybe got higher speed but i need help any advice would help 😢
You have to get audio before it goes to the projector. This is way the splitter is before the hdmi going to the projector itself. RCA will work or optical
There are small 2inch speakers inside to projector. Not ideal for movies or really anything. That’s why this video was made, I got frustrated with a high end projector with the worst sound quality ever. But luckily that’s no longer the issue.
I'm hooking up the projector ( just viewing it on a wall) to a pa system, the only way I can get sound to it is a 3mm in the headphones jack to my pa system, can't seem to get the rca cables to pa system to work, wouldn't I get better sound or does it not matter ?? thanks
I like the idea of no wires. But when I tried to get the video to go to the projector and the audio to go to the surround sound system. This was the only way it worked for me.
@@freewheelburning8834 my apologies, I explained that in the video too. The concept works the same way. I just made a quick mockup video to explain how to get sound to an external source.

Great video, thanks. Consider buying a projector, this video helps.

Thank you! I was going crazy...
Well explained
Happy to help
Awesome thanks! Can you also use an optical cable instead of rca if your speaker has such an output?
Yes, absolutely… works both ways

Did you get the hdmi converter from the video? I walk you through the process
Get a hdmi splitter
Thank you so much bro. I’ve been pulling my hair out and you fixed that frustration!

@@alfonsopintojr9932 have you tried using the optical cable for the sound system instead?
You didn’t need the converter. Just connect the Roku to the projectors HDMI port and connect an Aux to Aux cable from the projector to Soundbar.
E10 doesn’t have Aux .
Don't have a AUX port from the projector on mine... That would have made since haha
I used the HDMI ports in my Yamaha YAS209..no converter required
I tried projector Aux to Aux soundbar, it did not work! It's supposed to work. What might be wrong? Thanks.
I have the same set up but mine said that the Roku doesn’t have sufficient power. Low power. Please help
Ok does the box mesa with the let's say ur projector has 4k her and all the perks..does it lessen the quality of video??

Wow great just as using an outdated optic slot. How about an hdmi soundbar???
The optical cable works best, just didn’t have on for the video.
Can you use this in reverse ? RCA from the projector into the box and then hdmi running to soundbar ?
Never tried it, idk give it a shot and let me know.
Hey buddy . May I know what’s the model of Epson you got ?
thanks
And is this the fan noise ?
If so . Is this normal ? Cuz it’s kinda loud a bit .
Guide me
Please respond as soon as you can
The one in that video is my old one. It’s a cinema 3LCD

How do you get surround from RCA cables?
Great question, technically you can’t as they only carry 2 channel stereo audio. You will need use HDMI or a coaxial cable.

why did you not connect audio RCA cables directly to the projector?
This is my older projector and for whatever reason this model just has receiving ports. In other words, it can receive video and audio but it doesn’t have the ability to send it out.
Why need hdmi converter? Why cant we just insert fire tv stick directly to projector hdmi port and audio rac cables from projector to 5.1 subwoofer?
The RCA ports only send audio into the projector. The speakers on the projector are worthless.

Does the converter come with the power cord and wall plug that you have?
Yes, it’s plug and play. Link is in the description
What about a RCA projector w/a Sony sound bar plus one speaker not jacks needed just uses a HDMI
Sounds like a plan
Hey man great video, I have a question does it support 7.1 surround system ?
This one specifically is the 5.1 but if click the link in the description the suggested product underneath is the 7.1 adapter.

I hooked it all up and i get limited sound from my surround sound. Is it becasue my system is too old?
You can pickup a cheap soundbar or something. That’s what I did, really anything is better than the speakers in the projector.

Why not connect Roku to projector and Bluetooth to soundbar. No wires needed
If your projector has Bluetooth that would be the way to go. Mine doesn’t so was stuck with this option

Anything is better than the sound out of the projector.
Bluetooth
Don't want to complicate things 😅 but even your Roku atick has bkuetooth enabled allowing you to skip the wires
I like the idea of no wires. But when I tried to get the video to go to the projector and the audio to go to the surround sound system. This was the only way it worked for me.
what a life saver tons of thanks sir

Duck dinasty my favorite show
Right on!
A soundbar isn't surround sound. You could of just used Bluetooth instead of that converter box
True, however the setup would be about the same. Audio out to the system and video to the projector.
Will you hide the wiring later?
hahah yeah I need to make an updated video
HOW DID YOU GO FROM SAYIN THERE IS NO AUDIO TO ''IM GOING TO GIVE U AN IDEA WHAT THE AUDIO SOUNDS LIKE''???
They do have a 2” speaker. Size matters my man….
Thku soo much

Could you not just turn a HDMI cable from the projector to the sound bar ?
If your projector has another HDMI... Mine just has input HDMI
Same just inputs … I just ordered it we will see if this will help with our sound issues outside
Two thumbs down your speakers aren't tactile enough
🤣 I wish I had one!
I almost burst out laughing seeing this dude wearing this vest like he’s in Ukraine 🤣

You should get paid to talk about this product. I bought two, I’m sure you’ll sell 100s of these for that company

Soooooo where's the surround sound system? Lol that's what i was looking for 🤔
It hooks up the same way, you would just send the audio to a surround sound system instead of a sound bar.
