Yes! Thank you!! I got a new Bluetooth speaker and couldn't wire it to work with an old projector. This saved a big outdoor movie night tonight, overnighted the part and plugged it into headphone jack, victory!
I looked all over and nobody had solution to chromecast video but listen to audio on bluetooth headset. You're vid made it easy. Thanks SO much. I am able to enjoy my projector in bed now !
Thank you! My projector has bluetooth, but of course it doesn't work no matter what. My Bose soundbar connects to all my other Bluetooth devices, but not the projector Bluetooth. So I tried this using a TaoTronics brand Bluetooth transmitter/receiver and boom, my Bose Soundbar connected within seconds! Works great!
I am having the same issue with my Epson projector and my JBL soundbar that I just spend a boat load on (and my handyman already installed). Apparently they are NOT compatible with each other. Fingers crossed this works!
I have major lag!! I’m going to get a second one to see if I can help it along but it’s frustrating. It does totally work for the sound bar but the lag… thanks for the advice.
I just bought two of these. If only i had this when doing my Halloween set up. I generally had the projector set up in my room facing to my window to view from outside but had my speakers tethered to projector with limited range that the audio came from in room where i needed speakers to be outside for louder clear audio. This year I'll be ready.
Great video! I have my projector in the ceiling, so I can't turn the BT on and off easily. Do i need to turn it on every single time I want to use my projector? Thanks!
Can this pair with multiple sets of earbuds simultaneously? We need to connect multiple pairs of earbuds (up to 6 sets, for 6 viewers), as we're not allowed to use a speaker in our neighborhood.
Hey yeah I didn't mention that but you can hook it up to USB port on the projector and just leave it plugged in! The device will be charged anytime the projector is turned on (mine didn't charge in standby).
So this helped a lot. I everything set up and connected but my sound bar only plays out of 1 side. I know it is not the sound bar because my phone connects and it works from both sides. Was wondering if anyone has a solution
Hello there..i’m planning to buy 2 of this device, 1 for my projector as transmitter and the other for my receiver. My question is: will the sound also come out in 5.1 or 7.1??
Thanks for this review video ! I have a problem with the audio from my projector... I am connecting my google chrome cast to the HDMI port of the projector and using the projector bluetooth to connect to a speaker. I this case, always I am seeing audio lag ! Can you please comment where is the issue in my case ?
Great review! One question I have is can you pair multiple devices to it? Say I have two Bluetooth speakers and want to create more of a surround sound effect. Would I be able to do that or do you have a different device to recommend? I just got a BenQ TK850 and realized it doesn’t have Bluetooth :/
Since it's BT 5.0, you should be able to just turn on the transmitter and as long as you didn't have the soundbar hooked up to anything else they will pair back together
@@CandidTechTV I'm in need of help as I use my laptop to project the screen, but I can't connect my laptop audio to my new soundbar? Any help would be much appreciated.
Great Video. I hooked up perfectly...cheap projector paired to my good Bluetooth speakers easy. Only problem I see is even with my projector on max volume and not loud enough for outdoor movie. (I use my Bluetooth speakers with pc which has volume control , so I know they are plenty loud controlled by volume on PC. How can I get more volume on this set up VCR to Projector, Projector to Bluetooth speaker via a Bluetooth adapter? My speakers do not have volume control, vcr volume is turned up as high as it goes, projector volume is turned up as high as it goes.
The soundbar connects to the transmitter which is connected to audio output connected to the projector. However no audio comes out when I cast onto chrome cast
Hello, I have a Bose sound bar and it connected to my projector . Now I bought 2 Bose sr1 pro speakers . I wanted to get them all going at the same time. How can I do that?.. My Vava UST projector has Bluetooth but I want to sync all together . What’s your thoughts?.. thanks for any info
Thanks for the video, does the job indeed. Anyone can help however with the following two challenges I have please: 1. I have connected my BenQ projector to a Bose soundbar 300 and the sound is interrupted every couple of seconds. 2. Same configuration + tried on a different Bose MiniSoundLink and I get static noise. Probably something with the grounding as the problem doesn’t occur when I use my Bluetooth transmitter on a different device. Thanks all!
I’ve been having this challenge the last few months. I have a benq projector as well and have searching for a solution to connect it to my sound bar without the clutter of wiring. 😥
It should. Does your surround system have BT built in? If so, you just pair this connected to the projector with it and it will transmit. You'd have it set to "TX" mode in that scenario.
Small question/problem how do resolve having to pair it each time I wanna use it like I have Bose soundbar and my device keeps saying it found it (blinking blue light) but my Bose has no reaction or sign that it’s paired at all and my device is now stuck in a loop hole of failed to connect or “already connected”
Yes, they're both the same thing. AUX in and out just means audio in or out of the device, if it doesn't have a port labeled AUX IN/OUT, you should still have a headphone icon which is your AUX audio out of the device.
Yes, you can put it in transmit mode and then you can send the signal wirelessly and hook up Bluetooth devices to it if it's an audio out/headphone jack
I hope your still here, I have a projector the headphone symbol, is that like an audio output? Can I plug a Bluetooth connector to that? My projector only has av output and headphone symbol output
Question, i have my Transmitter that i connected to projector but my bluetooth speaker won't pair with it. Should i get another transmitter then and plug that into the speaker on RX mode and then the two should pair?
Could I connect a Iteknic to a speaker that only has composite wire out? I have not seen an adapter that takes from the copper wires to an aux. I have the adapter that goes from white and red plug in to an aux. Would it work if I stripped the red and white ends exposing the wires, attach those wires to the older speaker? Then attach the iteknic device and switch it to receive the projectors bluetooth audio comeing out of the projector?
I have Pyle blooth outdoor wall speakers. Is there any device sync from the projector to the speaker? like how we select from mobile phones. When I turned the projector either automatically connected or I can choose a blooth speaker?
Hey, so this transmitter model I linked comes with an included rca adapter converter cable so you can use that to hook up to your ports on the back of that model (the red and white jacks). So you should be good to go 👍
Hi plz tell will this device work witj samsung c450 soundbar too? My projector keep on disconnecting samsung sound bar and they replied me that it does not support the dolby feature . Plz help will this device resolve the issue ? Thanks
Can you try changing the sound settings first from whatever you're streaming from to see if that fixes your issue? Try to change it from Dolby to something else. Otherwise, I'm not sure if this would solve the issue or not for you.
So, am I to understand that this method will not work on my Epson projector, which doesn't have an Aux port, but has the red, yellow, and white cables connections for audio output?
But i got some question, can i use two of these BT adapter to two no BT device? Like my projector with no Bluetooth to connect on my home theater with also no Bluetooth..will they connect?if yes ..How & what to do..thank u n more power🙏🏻
Hey yes, so if you hook one up to the projector (and switch it to TX mode) and plug the other into your speakers (switch that one to RX mode) when you turn them on one right after the other, they should go into pairing mode and automatically connect with each other.
I bought the attachment and it worked great but I need to see how my speakers work outside, does anyone have any suggestions on outdoor Bluetooth speakers
Bluetooth is for audio only. You would need a special cable for your phone but most streaming apps will still be blocked due to copyright laws. The best route is just hooking up a Roku, Fire Stick, etc for easy streaming.
Simple device and pretty cheap I have to say, it’s good for portable projectors and stuff like that. Just keep in mind that this is a transmitter making an impression of a Bluetooth Tv/Projector so the quality might stutter depending on the device connected or other qualities but overall 8/10 if you don’t mind like 0.5 audio delay stings from time to time but barley notice it
I have an epson powerlite 3020. I have a JBL Charge 3 which is bluetooth. Right now audio is connected with aux cable but I want to make projector bluetooth so I bought the taotronics you speak of. I cant figure out how to pair the projector to the bluetooth speaker. Can you help? thanks in advance.
You can hook this up in that way to your audio out port and either wired with an aux cabler or use a transmitter like this and set it to transmit to send it to a speaker.
Would you have to pair this manually every time you turn the projector on? Or would it automatically connect as soon as you turn the Bluetooth and speakers on?
I found that when I'm using it with another Bluetooth 5.0 device, I haven't had latency. If your device is only Bluetooth 4.0 however there may be some latency.
Hi Cadid I have Toshiba ET20 home cinema projector my speaker is not loud enough i want to convert to Bluetooth can i do this? Then how ?? . I have Aux in as the projector is provided with Coax IN and Coax OUT how to convert to this Bluetooth projector and i want to listen sound in external Bluetooth speaker Please guide
Hey there! So if you have an AUX in on your projector, you would just use one of these transmitters that way and set it to transmit mode and pair it with a Bluetooth speaker. Put both in pairing mode and they will connect. If your speakers AREN’T Bluetooth, you can use another transmitter on receiver mode if needed and just pair those together (put them both in pairing mode and they’ll find each other)
Just to be sure….if I mirror my iPhone, iPad, laptop or any droid devices to my projector but I have the Jimtabs set up(1 for my speaker & one for my projector) I will hear what is playing on my phone, iPad, etc. in PEACE? Without all the wires?
Hi, I’ve purchased two devices but how do you get them to pair, you press them both down for 3 seconds at the same time so they go into pairing mode and they pair up? I was trying this yesterday and could get a match, let me know where I am going wrong, thanks!
Yes this is for audio only. You can use an MHL cable for a physical connection with your phone or some of the projectors will support AirPlay or casting through Android. A lot of mobile apps are not allowed to stream through the phone though due to copyright issues. The easiest thing is honestly getting a Fire Stick, Roku stick, etc.
My projector has both left and right audio ports. Can I use this device in only one of the audio ports and not the other? Or do I need an adapter? Thanks
Hey, yes it should work. You would just put the transmitter to "TX" mode and in then into pairing mode and select the transmitter when it comes up on your car interface (assuming you have a screen) and they should pair together
Great video...maybe you can help me a little. I’m actually trying to use two, JBL speakers that have a “Party mode” I can get them to connect to the transmitter & projector but there the audio doesn’t match the picture. I know you said two transmitters should solve this issue? One with TX and one with RX?
Don't use the speakers in "party mode". Just have both speakers turned off and then follow these steps... 1.)Turn on first speaker and place into pairing mode 2.)Power on the transmitter in TX mode and then place into pairing mode by the instructions for your device or like mine is after you power it up you simply tap the power button twice to place in pairing mode 3.) First speaker is paired and now shut that one off 4.)power up your 2nd speaker and place in pairing mode 5.)Follow steps in #2 to place the transmitter device into pairing mode and once connected turn the 2nd speaker off. 6.)Turn on first speaker and let it pair, then turn on 2nd speaker and enjoy the show. If you have them in party mode and you're only connected to one speaker and the other speaker is connected to the 1st speaker you will introduce and audio delay and even potentially an "echo". Just double pair the speakers to the Transmitter if you have this model or any 2 in 1 transmitter.
@@jwallace7230 Hello, i am also trying to connect my projectors audio via Bluetooth to 3 JBL speakers that are Bluetooth 4.2. Projector has Bluetooth 5.0 but there is a horrible lag in audio. I was also using the Party mode. Is there a problem with BT 5.0 sending to BT 4.2 speakers specifically ? so reading your instructions above i would have to connect one by one then shut off then just turn them on and projector should pick them up at the same time? and maybe a 3rd speaker would be out of the question? thank you , good video. :)
@@eddyrsportz if your projector can handle multiple audio streams/devices via Bluetooth, then yes you can. Though if your projector has the newest Bluetooth module then it should have no problems with connecting to the speakers or have any noticeable lag. It may be your streaming service. I run into the issue if I pause my Netflix show or Hulu and then resume playback,, the audio gets a delay where I heard what they're saying before they say it on screen.
If your stereo has bluetooth, you would theoretically put it in pairing mode and at the same time put your transmitter in pairing mode and they would find each other and should pair.
My budget projector has crappy speakers. When I use an Auxillery cable, my external speaker is still too quiet for some movies. Is there a way to Bluetooth my phone to my speaker (which is much louder) while it is plugged into HDMI on the projector at the same time? I'm stumped on this one...
so you would need to set the transmitter connected to your projector to transmit and as long as the device and speakers are both in pairing mode at the same time they should pair to each other
My biggest concern is figuring away of turning my cable projector into a blue tooth one so that I can transmit both video and audio to speakers without having to plug the usb/hdmi or vga cables?
So unfortunately Bluetooth is only for audio, not video. You could try casting video but there would probably be some lag and I'm not exactly sure how to do that with cable. You can do that with streaming services from a laptop probably though, but not a cable box from what I know.
Does this fix voice lag because my projector and soundbar doesn't have the sound setup like pcm and fixed options I hooded it up to a hdmi on arc option on soundbar and with bluetooth on still lags I'm so mad cause everything else is find
I have a question, I just bought a projector, screen mirroring is the only way we are watching movies, but I hate my texts show up, is there a way to just see it with blue tooth and not mirror,I can't figure it out
So Bluetooth is ONLY for audio transmission, not picture. I think the easiest thing would be to pick up a Fire stick, Roku player, or something like that and just stream from that. You won't run into any copyright steaming issues with certain apps either like you can on a cell phone (Netflix, Hulu, etc).
@candid Tech Tv Hey man I have a question, so I bought a Bluetooth transmitter and successfully hooked it up to my sound bar. However, there is still sound coming out of my projector. The problem with that is, the projector speaker seems to be blown and give out a lot of Static. Do you know how I can fix this issue?
Hopefully you see this haha but I connected the transmitter and the audio is weird I can hear the background sounds but not like the people talking it’s so low. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Hey, yes it should work. You would just put the transmitter to "TX" mode and in then into pairing mode and select the transmitter when it comes up on your car interface (assuming you have a screen) and they should pair together
Great video...maybe you can help me a little.
I’m actually trying to use two, JBL speakers that have a “Party mode”
I can get them to connect to the transmitter & projector but there the audio doesn’t match the picture.
I know you said two transmitters should solve this issue? One with TX and one with RX?
Don't use the speakers in "party mode". Just have both speakers turned off and then follow these steps...
1.)Turn on first speaker and place into pairing mode
2.)Power on the transmitter in TX mode and then place into pairing mode by the instructions for your device or like mine is after you power it up you simply tap the power button twice to place in pairing mode
3.) First speaker is paired and now shut that one off
4.)power up your 2nd speaker and place in pairing mode
5.)Follow steps in #2 to place the transmitter device into pairing mode and once connected turn the 2nd speaker off.
I would like to connect the protector to my truck stereo, will that work?
If your stereo has bluetooth, you would theoretically put it in pairing mode and at the same time put your transmitter in pairing mode and they would find each other and should pair.
My budget projector has crappy speakers. When I use an Auxillery cable, my external speaker is still too quiet for some movies. Is there a way to Bluetooth my phone to my speaker (which is much louder) while it is plugged into HDMI on the projector at the same time? I'm stumped on this one...
Can i use this to connect my smartphone to the projector via bluetooth ?
This was a great video, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
I have the transmitter hooked onto my projector and my speakers already have Bluetooth inbuilt..can I connect them or do I need a receiver has weel
so you would need to set the transmitter connected to your projector to transmit and as long as the device and speakers are both in pairing mode at the same time they should pair to each other
My biggest concern is figuring away of turning my cable projector into a blue tooth one so that I can transmit both video and audio to speakers without having to plug the usb/hdmi or vga cables?
So unfortunately Bluetooth is only for audio, not video. You could try casting video but there would probably be some lag and I'm not exactly sure how to do that with cable. You can do that with streaming services from a laptop probably though, but not a cable box from what I know.
Can this transmit more than 2.1 sound?
I have a vankyo performance v630w projector can I these Bluetooth adapters with a onn dolby atmos sound bar iam to from Walmart
They should work with it, you'd just put your soundbar in pairing mode and this transmitter in receiver mode
Does this fix voice lag because my projector and soundbar doesn't have the sound setup like pcm and fixed options I hooded it up to a hdmi on arc option on soundbar and with bluetooth on still lags I'm so mad cause everything else is find
Hey I just replied to your comment on the other video!
Will this work with epson 880 and jbl boombox 2?
I have a question, I just bought a projector, screen mirroring is the only way we are watching movies, but I hate my texts show up, is there a way to just see it with blue tooth and not mirror,I can't figure it out
So Bluetooth is ONLY for audio transmission, not picture. I think the easiest thing would be to pick up a Fire stick, Roku player, or something like that and just stream from that. You won't run into any copyright steaming issues with certain apps either like you can on a cell phone (Netflix, Hulu, etc).
@candid Tech Tv
Hey man I have a question, so I bought a Bluetooth transmitter and successfully hooked it up to my sound bar.
