Edit: Bought and currently flying EDDG - LIRN in the PMDG 737-800 and so far so good. Damn cool when the ATC accent changed to a French one when flying over the English Channel to France on the way to Naples. 😄 When the traffic injection is ready and as the product matures this is only going to get better!
I was able to get the software up and running quickly. I connected to the sim and flight plan. I have not yet flown a flight plan for a couple of reasons. I fly VR only. I have to interact with the beyondatc app with a mouse to see the read back and look for frequencies (click on them, say them and click on the request or verbal request but I need to click on the correct frequency. I have fsdestop but it does not allow interaction with the app in VR. sayintentions added a in VR app into the VR menu very quickly and hopefully beyondatc will do the same QUICKLY. I'm using the pimax crystal.
I have purchased well knowing the limitations. After following the progress of development I am confident that this is just the beginning of greater things to come. Thanks overkill for keeping us up to date!!!
The payment screened flashed pretty quickly, did not notice a PayPal option. Only credit cards? Not having a PayPal option would hurt sales I would think.

Until BATC puts their own live traffic in, could this program work with FSLTL Traffic? I did my first flight with BATC today and loved it but was very lonely at my origin and destination airports KPDX and KRDM...really want that live air and ground traffic for total immersion!
Cool I’ll check it out this evening, and thanks Beyond ATC. And I’ve been openly critical of them and deservedly at times, but over the last few weeks communication and direction seem to be on point. And am sure it’s going to be an awesome product for users like myself who are not confident yet to fly on vatsim or just to casually practice. My main criticism was the change of direction witch I some what agreed with but probably better to bring to market what was originally promised first then develop it into the new direction, witch this early access seems to be. So maybe a sine of a company listing to the market. And as a business owner myself I know it not easy running a project and changing plans and managing expectations of the team and customers. But well done carnt wait to give it a try and I’ll probably fail lol 😂. But well done and thanks for the vid overkill

There is 0 subscription Basic is a one time purchase and you never HAVE to buy anything for it again to use BASIC The PREMIUM voice model has a fuel tank. As you use the premium voices that fuel tank will drain. If you choose to refill it, then you buy the package you want. But even that is not a subscription. Just like refilling the plane. Oh and I haven't noticed any impact on FPS

And difficult saving and loading flight plans from SimBrief, it’s confusing. FS wants a different file extension than is saved, so it isn’t there. Need some exact steps.

The window itself is not visible in VR (yet), it is on their development road map. To me that enhances the realism and prepares me for Vatsim better as you have to jot the info down rather than relying on the readout.
how would someone have to deal with a window, especially in vr? i use vr for immersion and a big window, popping up all the time kills it for me. this product is totally useless for me. second, as pilot flying i don't want to have anything to do with atc, like in real life. no, this product sucks

Honestly. Unless you have a very critical ear. The basic voices are just as good as the premium. Premium might be slightly smoother. Well done.

I just turned them all off so no clashes, plus deleted a key binding I had set to pull up the MS2020 ATC window.

for a 50 min flight, without auto responding... so i do all the communication, no copilot... I used 3200 characters.
Can get way more expensive than SayIntentions if you use Premium voice in many flights during the month. Sayintentions is unlimited for $30 per month.

It works in VR functionality wise, but you cannot see the window. Very immersive as you have to write the info down like IRL
