Her vocals are so consistent that her live performances could pass for studio recordings. *Whitney* was perfection. Her studio recordings were flawless. In live performances, she risked moments of imperfection to get to a place that was beyond perfect.

This video is great. I love all three, but Mariah’s voice combined with her amazing music just makes her my favorite. I still have respect for Whitney & Celine though, they’re amazing!
Whitney had the best tone and the most powerful voice ever and her head voice was Godly, that alone for me is what makes her the best vocalist. I love Mariah’s music but as a vocalist I’ve never really watched a performance where i got any goosebumps and Celine she’s very interesting vocally the very many different things she can do
I won't compare them. All three has things that each other can't do. All are unique. I also think using 'was' for Celine and Mariah isn't needed as they both slay in vocals up to today. Especially Celine. Her range has grown as she got older, something that is almost unknown for other singers. All three were good. The remaining two are still good. No best, no better, no worst, no lesser.

Andreanata Noivan her lows improve a lot with age I think that’s what theyre referring to. Celine has had much more ease in her upper belts now to. I wouldnt say her range grew, but it the upper and lower part of her range improved on a skill level
If you watch lots of celine clips from especially her tours today and even back 2009, 2012/2013 you'll see that Celine gained upper and lower range. She remained a good live singer. She gained higher range but she lost a power. It's natural since she's getting old. She lipsync? Yes. Her songs are that demanding and if you sing it all live at every show then you have to pay the price which is loosing or ruining your voice. Lipsync saved her voice over the years. At least she didn't done a show just lipsyncing all of her songs 🙄 if you watch her shows, you'll see she only lipsync 2/3 songs out of her usual setlist with a total of 10-12 songs.
1.Celine- Her natural range along with her power and rasp in her higher register is the defining factor for me. Her climaxes on “All by myself” and “Power of Love” are the defining moments for me. 2.Mariah- Her songwriting along with the harmonies and intricacies of her background vocals are so beautiful and unmatched. 3.Whitney-Her tone and smooth transitions into falsetto were her best vocal qualities for me along with her power and gospel riffs.

All these singers are incredibly talented vocalist ny nature but Whitney was truly god gifted with a voice that was almost supernatural the things she cpuld do with it without even trying. I have never heard a more beautiful sound be produced from the human body than thay woman's voice! And EVERY KNOWS IT! 💯
I love the 3 , but celine is my favorite because of her angelic and soft voice . Her riffs and runs are always on point and her range is insane . Ican say she has the highest pitch amongst the 3 . She can sing just anything from poprock to pop to rnb and ballad . Her live performances are out of this world . And she managed to maintain most, if not all of her golden voice upto now .
It all boils down to preference. They’ve passed this mile high benchmark to the point that comparisons like these are incredibly hard because they’re all amazing. The bickering between the Whitney, Mariah, and Celine fans needs to stop. Can’t we just accept that they were all legends? Of course, my preference is Whitney because her voice “does it for me,” but that might be different for someone else, and I’m okay with that as a Whitney stan. People need to calm down sometimes, and be tolerant to opposing opinions.

Whitney wins because the other 2 lipped to pre-recorded vocals for TONS of performances ever since the mid 90’s. With Whitney even when she didn’t have her voice anymore still chose to sing live and give real emotion and soul. And she never sings the same song the same way twice, she’s a genius vocalist.

Celine for me, shes such a great performer and brings such depth, feeling and emotion. Mariah has a nice voice, good lower register and I admire her colourful belts and versatility. Whitney has a wonderful tone, power and exceptional head voice. All 3 are amazing and its a matter of taste.

The three of them can deliver vocals! No comparison needed. Also, they are very different vocalists. Celine is the ballad queen. She can sustain a strong and powerful mid belt with amazing resonance. She's also the most consistent vocalist overall. Whitney was the best performer overall. She was the voice. Her vibrato was unbelievable. She has the strongest and most powerful mid belts. Not to mention her heavenly head voice. Mariah, on the other hand, is the most unique out of the three. She knows how to make a song that's only meant for her. Her harmony is so underrated, yet heavenly. Her crazy agility and transition is out of this world. Her lower register is so dark and heavy, and her mixed voice is just so pleasant to hear.

Mariah's low notes and agility are just to die for and Celine got me shocked with those clips, she's truly underestimated as a vocalist when she has also a lot to give. They are the standard for today's pop girlies, but sadly they (today's vocalists) weren't able to reach or top these three's vocal prowess in their primes. The vocal trinity!!!!!
I love them all, but Mariah will always take #1 in my heart. Just such a beautiful voice all around, and she mastered every facet of her vocal range and is an incredible song writer. I know this is purely subjective, but Celine Dion's timbre is out of this world. I think Whitney was the best even though Mariah was my favorite. But Celine Dion had the best timbre in whatever language she was singing. She unarguably had the most dominant timbre of the three.
Celine Dion is the #1 BEST, she has longevity, did not lose her voice, lived right, well respected and loved, does NOT use auto tune, I think she has the most beautiful voice. I do love Whitney very much and Mariah was very good but in time the latter 2 lost their voices.. It’s so epic, I think Mariah is so strong with the vocal range but where Mariah is weak at Whitney is strong, the head voice for example and the vibrato. But Whitney didn’t express her love with high notes it was all STRONG RASPY BELTS AND THEN, she’d go into this most beautiful head voice that is the best among any singer! I like Whitney’s heavenly tone above all and I think she had the most beautiful vibrato of the 3 of them. Mariah has great transition and agility for me and I like the style in which she does it. Celine to me got better with age probably with greater vocal mastery through learning and practice.
When I was very young, Whitney was like the only singer i listen to. Then Celine enthralled me with her powerful All By Myself. However, when i got introduced to Mariah Carey, I've been a fan eversince. There's just something in the way she sings. The color. The drama in her voice. Every time I listen to one I'm like she's the best, then I listen to the other and think she's the best and again with the third and can never decide. They are all great singers and I love them all, but Whitney hands down. She has the very unique ability to showcase power while still being melodious, caressingly soft and yet vibrant, which is extremely rare. Even at her highest notes, while Celine and Mariah can sometimes sound a bit too 'noisy, there is a fullness and richness to Whitney's that makes you want to hear more.

I wouldn't compare these three female vocalists. Each of them has their unique strength and vocal technique over the other. But, in my heart, Whitney Houston has a special place in my heart. I love her voice a lot, from the first time I bought her album, on a cassette up till today. I will always listen to her songs for many more years to come. She's accompanied me from the glorious 80's up to today. Whitney Houston is irreplaceable in my heart. No one comes close ever, and I mean no disrespect for the other vocal powerhouse. How on earth people can compare some of the greatest vocalists alive who are so different from each other and then claim this one is the best. I don't think Whitney or Celine can sing Vision Of Love, Vanishing, Anytime You Need A Friend live. I don't think Mariah or Celine can sing IWALY, You Give Good Love, All The Man That I Need exactly like Whitney although they have higher range. I also don't think Whitney and Mariah can fight Celine when it come to sustain long notes for long period of times and I don't think Whitney and Mariah can sing All By Myself and I Surrender better than Celine. You can't compare a Spinto Soprano, a Lyric Coloratura Soprano and a Full Lyric Soprano to each other when they have different voices in the first place. Whitney and Celine can't do what Mariah can, Mariah can't do what Whitney and Celine can and Celine can't do what Whitney and Mariah can. Not to mention their style of singing are so different from each other as well. Some parts obviously one of them is slightly better but that doesn't make that person the best among those three. They're different yet equal in talents.

When it comes to headvoice Whitney and Celine are twos who always use it, Mariah doesn't really use headvoice but when she did use it, her headvoice is indeed beautiful despite under utilized. Andreanata Noivan her lows improve a lot with age I think that’s what theyre referring to. Celine has had much more ease in her upper belts now to. I wouldnt say her range grew, but it the upper and lower part of her range improved on a skill level
If you watch lots of celine clips from especially her tours today and even back 2009, 2012/2013 you'll see that Celine gained upper and lower range. She remained a good live singer. She gained higher range but she lost a power. It's natural since she's getting old. She lipsync? Yes. Her songs are that demanding and if you sing it all live at every show then you have to pay the price which is loosing or ruining your voice. Lipsync saved her voice over the years. At least she didn't done a show just lipsyncing all of her songs 🙄 if you watch her shows, you'll see she only lipsync 2/3 songs out of her usual setlist with a total of 10-12 songs.

3.Whitney-Her tone and smooth transitions into falsetto were her best vocal qualities for me along with her power and gospel riffs.

I love the 3 , but celine is my favorite because of her angelic and soft voice . Her riffs and runs are always on point and her range is insane . Ican say she has the highest pitch amongst the 3 . She can sing just anything from poprock to pop to rnb and ballad . Her live performances are out of this world . And she managed to maintain most, if not all of her golden voice upto now .
Celine's soft voice is a scam. There's a ton of steel and grit in that thing, and I only realised it recently.

Whitney wins because the other 2 lipped to pre-recorded vocals for TONS of performances ever since the mid 90’s. With Whitney even when she didn’t have her voice anymore still chose to sing live and give real emotion and soul. And she never sings the same song the same way twice, she’s a genius vocalist.

The three of them can deliver vocals! No comparison needed. Also, they are very different vocalists. Celine is the ballad queen. She can sustain a strong and powerful mid belt with amazing resonance. She's also the most consistent vocalist overall. Whitney was the best performer overall. She was the voice. Her vibrato was unbelievable. She has the strongest and most powerful mid belts. Not to mention her heavenly head voice. Mariah, on the other hand, is the most unique out of the three. She knows how to make a song that's only meant for her. Her harmony is so underrated, yet heavenly. Her crazy agility and transition is out of this world. Her lower register is so dark and heavy, and her mixed voice is just so pleasant to hear.

I like Whitney’s heavenly tone above all and I think she had the most beautiful vibrato of the 3 of them. Mariah has great transition and agility for me and I like the style in which she does it. Celine to me got better with age probably with greater vocal mastery through learning and practice.

When I was very young, Whitney was like the only singer i listen to. Then Celine enthralled me with her powerful All By Myself. However, when i got introduced to Mariah Carey, I've been a fan eversince. There's just something in the way she sings. The color. The drama in her voice. She has the very unique ability to showcase power while still being melodious, caressingly soft and yet vibrant, which is extremely rare. I wouldn't compare these three female vocalists. Each of them has their unique strength and vocal technique over the other.
But, in my heart, Whitney Houston has a special place in my heart. I love her voice a lot, from the first time I bought her album, on a cassette up till today.
I will always listen to her songs for many more years to come. She's accompanied me from the glorious 80's up to today.

How on earth people can compare some of the greatest vocalists alive who are so different from each other and then claim this one is the best. I don't think Whitney or Celine can sing Vision Of Love, Vanishing, Anytime You Need A Friend live. I don't think Mariah or Celine can sing IWALY, You Give Good Love, All The Man That I Need exactly like Whitney although they have higher range. I also don't think Whitney and Mariah can fight Celine when it come to sustain long notes for long period of times and I don't think Whitney and Mariah can sing All By Myself and I Surrender better than Celine. You can't compare a Spinto Soprano, a Lyric Coloratura Soprano and a Full Lyric Soprano to each other when they have different voices in the first place. Whitney and Celine can't do what Mariah can, Mariah can't do what Whitney and Celine can and Celine can't do what Whitney and Mariah can. Not to mention their style of singing are so different from each other as well. Some parts obviously one of them is slightly better but that doesn't make that person the best among those three. They're different yet equal in talents.

I know she can slay those songs for sure, but read my comments carefully. If Mariah sings those songs they wouldn't sound like Whitney the vibe of those songs would be different. Whitney has her touch to the songs that only she seems to have. I'm not saying Mariah or Celine can't sing Whitney songs but it wouldn't be exactly like her.
When it comes to headvoice Whitney and Celine are twos who always use it, Mariah doesn't really use headvoice but when she did use it, her headvoice is indeed beautiful despite under utilized. They all can do long notes, but Celine is the one who shines and the most consistent the most with it. All of their songs are filled with dynamics. I'm just being honest in my comments.

no i never said that LMAO what are you even reading haha?! i never said whitney and mariah have bad personalities because i do believe whitney was special and an amazing person and the same goes to mariah, it's just that i don't like her cocky side that's all. i adore whitney and mariah but because of taste i prefer celine and because i do love her humble and clown-ish personality. and she NEVER shades anyone even if they come at her lol but that's besides the point. celine has amazing control, ressonance, unique and QUICK runs, diversity, unique scales, longevity... etc, mariah has god-like transitions and amazing range, control... etc. and for whitney i wouldn't say she has the best runs because they all have some unique qualities to them, for example, whitney's runs are incredibly POWERFUL and they really touched your soul. but whitney lacked a bit of control when it comes to live performances... she couldn't sing her songs the same as they where recorded and that's something mariah and celine did perfectly! but that doesn't mean she was not great... she's still one of the best in the world! so what i'm trying to say is that yes they are the vocal trinity for a reason! no one will EVER come close to what these women have achieved in sales and in talent. and yes they all have something the other lacks so they complement each other to PERFECTION... that's something that probably won't happen again. there is NO COMPETITION they are all unique! mariah can't sing like celine, nor whitney and vice versa! why are lambs so arrogant... just please respect and give credit where it's due and don't live up to the reputation lambs have. and don't be so defensive about something you misunderstood

Celine Dion is so underrated as a vocalist especially now. She’s now how old and can still hit those same notes. Celine is one of those singers who can still sing the same song unlike someone. JUST SAYING!!!!
Im a fan of Whitney and i agree that mariah is the greatest among the three, shes just the ARTIST, whitney has more power than her and celine can sustain more mariah Can do all with ease including the tone for riffs and runs. She's the most successful solo female artist having 19 number one. Plus Her Range thats just out of this world shes just a freak of nature the competition is tight but Mariah won for me.
