    It’s a crime this video doesn’t have the numbers your Battlefront video has. I really enjoy these types of retrospective looks back on nostalgic games

      Appreciate it! I was expecting that video to maybe peak at 1000 views, but it got blessed by the algorithm which was definitely lucky and awesome. The goal is to put out videos I can be proud of regardless of the numbers. I had around 60 subscribers when I posted that video, so the fact that I could get a couple hundred on this is still way more than I could’ve hoped for.

      That's a great outlook! A lot of content creators get depressed and troubled when they have a hit video and can't seem to follow-up to it. I'm glad you're remaining positive. Never feel like your content is worthless or anything.

    Came from the BF video, can't believe the view difference, this video is better in my opinion but I guess not everyone played this masterpiece as a kid.

    I had this game for PC. Its pure mid 2000's jank. The kind of games we all had back on the PS2 days. Very nostalgic

    I remember Baskin Robins also having a Shrek swamp sundae thing with Gummi worms and Oreo crumbs for dirt and mud! I got the game and used the coupon too!

    Just watched the Battlefront vid you made. I love these types of retrospective vids.
    I remember renting this game when I was a kid from a video store called Movie Gallery and enjoying the game with friends over a weekend. Just seeing this video brought back some deep seeded memories.
    Just goes to show how old I am now that I can remember renting stuff from video stores lol

    Here from the battlefront video, the best part about 2 that made me replay that the most was the weapon upgrades for getting kills/certain ways. Like the rocket launcher upgrade for hitting critical spots😭 I remember being like 6 playing with my brother and getting the burst (?) Assault rifle for getting however many kills in a row. And was so excited, there was a beam rifle like Leia's gun and gosh I wish they were remastered for console😔 THANKS FOR THE NOSTALGIA TRIP MY GUY❤️❤️

    you struck gold on that SWBF video, keep doing these retrospectives. i hope you get more views. I was shocked to see you only have 1k subs when your video quality is fairly high despite that.

    Im loving the retrospective videos. Again, maybe Mercenaries playground of destruction. Not the silly sequel, though. Nobody played that. Either way, I just found your videos and subbed right away! Keep up the good work, my guy.

      Never played it, but I’m open to doing games I’ve never played before. In fact, next game planned is one I never played before. Wouldn’t exactly be a personal retrospective, but that would have to end eventually since there’s only so many games I remember playing.
      Mercenaries was a PS2/XB game, and I don’t have either of those consoles so emulator would be the best bet. Maybe in the future if I can figure out the technical stuff I can add it to the list.

    If I remember the characters deal more damage than others by default, which is why the chickens took more hits with some characters for example. I think Shrek and Donkey hit harder but are a bit slower, whereas Gingie and Puss are weaker but attack faster. Which is why some characters get shit on against groups of enemies.

    • @breadballer
      @breadballer  Год назад

      That’s interesting. Never considered the chickens had a damage threshold.

    It's ironic when you hear the first Shrek film was where they sent the crew that made Prince of Egypt after it did terribly in theatres as a form of punishment. It was cream not soap that the knights shoot at Mongo. The one on the wall in the movie when Mongo looks like he has hair says, "more heat less foam."
