This family has been screwed since day one. The judge is biased; the hospital defending poor actions by their staff and the physician defending her diagnosis of child abuse are both appalling.

  • @little_old_grannydoc

Physicians are stressed to the max with the number of patients they must see in a day, the paper work, chart documentation, follow up with lab and x-ray reports, etc. and barely have enough time to do these tasks. There is no way they can communicate with all these specialists. Half the time, the specialists don’t call back when you do call.
Also, because this condition is rare in children, there is no definitive treatment recommendations. How the hospital physicians determined this was Munchausen by proxy is unclear. I think they were biased by there dislike for the child’s mother. She came across as aggressive but she was only advocating for her child against physicians that disagreed with the child’s past medical treatment.

The hospital didnt like the mother therefore they decided they were going to destroy this family... clearly they were after this family seeing how normally care of a child isnt left to a hospital but a family member usually takes Guardianship. The fact that there are alot of reports by this hospital for child abuse that should raise concerns about the training of the staff when it comes to medical neglect.

How is there no criminal trial? They kidnapped this child and lied in court to do so. And it appears they did it because they were annoyed by an informed mother who was involved in her child's healthcare. I had a doctor lose her cool with me because I asked too many questions. She told me she was the doctor and she would ask the questions. They were setting my daughter up for an IV and I asked what was in there and the doctor (irritated) told me Penicillin. I reminded her that my daughter is allergic to Penicillin. Luckily the doctor didn't retaliate by calling CPS and just cried and apologized. I get it. There are a lot of annoying parents and dumb parents (self educated online...) but you don't take kids away from their family if there is no neglect or abuse.

I've seen many people frustrated with this terminology. Try to remember this is a court case and it involves a lot of paperwork and form that require a very specific terminology. The distinction being bound, I believe means the person will require assistance most times to transfer to and from the chair and may not be able to hold themselves up, or walk at all. A wheelchair chair user can be someone who just lacks stamina or has any number of various self limiting situations.

Judge is bias and quite frankly rude to the Kowalskis. Inappropriate, huffing and puffing, red in the face, raising his voice to plaintiffs, acting like they are wasting his time. Its sad and uphauling. Insensitive a55!!

no, the point is to ensure they never do it again to another child or family. Its not about recouping money. It is to make them pay and feel it. some drop in the bucket amount will not matter, they would go on making false accusations and destroying families with no regard to truth. They shoudl pay this family and have to go back and pay past families they have wrongfully destroyed.

@denaeayers9721 I actually have lived thru a nightmare like this, I was undiagnosed for a year with Lymes Disease. I was pretty much called crazy until they ran the last test. It was awful.
      This is a tragic case.
My thoughts on this is the mom was an RN, which moms who are in the medical field have a greater chance of munchausen syndrome. There are more red flags as I watch the case. I just learned the mom was also being investigated for writing prescriptions for her daughter. Idk. Interesting for sure.

@@Beachbucket I think if you look further into that allegation and truly understand the way those work the absolute absurdity of them making it would show how desperate they are to not have her blood on their hands. Sally Smith took great pride in finding msp moms. If you are looking for something you often find it even when it doesn’t exist.
