- These just showed up on Amazon and I bought a set. I haven't seen anyone run these yet, just the awful photoshops in the listing descriptions. But I put em in and they look pretty good. I do plan to modify them further once I get some time, and make the amber-colored turn signals function as full-time DRLs and tint the lenses. I think it will look pretty good.

How are these headlights holding up for you? I think they're the best looking "new" lights with the LED DLs. The shape just looks better and more OEM to me. I was just concerned about the LED DLs and turn signals burning out and not being replaceable. Does the startup animation bug out when you start the truck?
Good so far, after almost a year. No burned LEDs...I do have the same concern.
The startup animation has a hiccup while the starter turns over and then it's normal. I used my own keyed 12v that drops out while cranking. If you use the factory DRL circuit it won't.
Howd you get the drls to stay on at night. My drls only work during the day time and shut off as soon as the headlights turn on. I saw a video where a guy put a jumper between pin 87 & 86 where the drl relay goes but i dont lnow if its safe
I just made my own switched 12v circuit with a fuse tap. The drl circuit turns off at night or with ebrake on, or park in auto.
Can you do a video on how you connected the wires
It was really simple, just a 12v switched for the DRL and turn signal wire and ground

Technically...you can use ANY manual from GM. NV3500 or NV4500 would be a bolt in for that 88-98 generation. But you could also do T5, T56...
How did you get the bafs to stay on without the how did you wire them for the led bars to stay lit up without the lights on

@@NetworkDesign3598 still perfect. I did use my multimeter to start rewiring the turns for amber DRL but nothing made sense so they're staying as-is🤣
Is there a way to make the amber the DRL and stay on at all times on these?
Yeah, I'm going to rewire the parking light so the DRL and amber turn are on constant

The link in the description has ones with black Housings, how did you get the chrome ones?
Wow, way cheaper too. The seller must have changed the listing. I just went to my Amazon orders and when I got share it goes back to the black housing with different photos. Doesn't look like those have the sequential turn signal either. Maybe they're unavailable now?
@GEARHEADdezign I guess so. I was really hoping to find those ones to throw on my Suburban. I'm gonna keep searching, I'll let you know if I find them.
@@aidantanny7230 yeah definitely. Cause I'd like to be able to replace these if something happens. And I was planning on modifying the signals but that makes me hesitate. Lol

How’d you paint your grill?
Peeled the chrome plating off and then typical paint prep. A razor can get under the chrome and then just peel. It sucks🤣
Do you have to be driving for just the drl part to be lit up without the lights on
If you tap into the factory DRL wire yes. I ran just a switched 12v, so if key is on, DRL are on
What grill is that on this truck? Haven't seen that one before
I cut up the stock grille and modified it. Painted the center bar, and I cut out the original mesh and top of the surround and added my own honeycomb. I have info in one of my old videos
The bowtie is just the stock one taken apart, painted and vinyl'd
How did you get it to do the switch back from white to amber
The lights came that way.

how is the fitment on the headlights any issues ?
Typical China fitment, but you can get it right with some tinkering
