The GMC of that year was a little different than the Chevy. They actually make some pretty cool headlights for the GMC for some reason. I think I remember the Denali headlights were good looking as well.
correct me if im wrong but what you did was: connect the black wire(ground) from the new harness into the black wire(ground) for the original DRL then the pink wire(power) to the DRL signal which is the original blue wire Then, you tapped the blue wire on the new connector to the turn signal wire(blue wire on the turn signal), right? Thinking of doing this to my 2013 tahoe mainly becuase i want my DRLs to be white during the day. I may not use it as a second turn signal but getting the turn signal connecter will allow the light to be white instead of amber during the day which is the main thing im after. And all id have to do for that is the first two steps i mentioned above i think.
I noticed when you wired in the switchback driver module it's wired in backwards where it's flashing that fraction of second like that inwards instead of outwards I thought anyways I Love wireing in these switchback driver modules they make any vehicle look real Cool honestly

Try with the parking light on too - I bet they will blink exactly together. However - I like your adjustment to get a more suitable sequence when parking light is off.
I think from the looks he wired the turn off the side marker because they blink to that’s what’s causing the sequential blink because the factory side marker light blinks than off than front from the looks he don’t have it hooked up unless just for marker light
I just purchased some halo headlights for my 04 Tahoe. I was thinking about running my halos wires to the park n signal lights so my halos run normal and blink as a turn signal!!
I honestly like the fact that it runs like a sequential light! I have a 2008 Saturn Aura which is a GM product so I am hoping that I can run the same light without a resistor. I was looking at some of the JDM cars and they all need resistors so I am hoping that I won't. It's a nice look having the switchback. I am running the Hikari 9005's for my Hi's, and the Cougar H11's for my Low's and they look really nice inside the headlight housing! I just ordered the switchback turnsignals, led sidemarker light, LED rear turn signal, and LED fog, and LED reverse light.
I want it to do it on my car but I’m not sure if I would need the 3 wires socket instead of the normal one which came with 2 wires only. Wish you could help me out!
Those are the same pigtails I ordered for the Yukon (same issue with the tab, but it was expected), I switched from the 1157 sockets to 3157 because the LEDs where much cheaper and readily available. Considering it's a temporary mod, since I will be building new a set of headlights eventually, it was the better option for cheap temporary parts. Plus, I think I got a decent video out of it when I get around to editing it.
I picked up some AC Delco ones for another project I am doing. I am hoping they are a little better quality. Those plugs worked fine and are cheaper. The LED's fit really good inside the sockets. They seem like good quality except the locking tab.
Question, you only showed the right side. You switched the bulbs around so it looks better, which it does. But if the switch back is blinking slower then the actual amber led, how does it look on the left side since you switch those too. Curious!
Hello Great video i wanted to ask you i put these switchback bulbs on my 2011 Tahoe and the turn signal flashes real fast any idea what can i do. Thank you

you don't need to cut the wires just pull the center assembly out, of the socket then pull the wires out of the old one and stick the wires in the new socket and add the extra wire
