As an early 20's youth, I just love listening to such amazing people , accomplished so much and just the amount of attention to detail, I'm from Pakistan, do write on Indian startups and would some day enter the entrepreneurship world hopefully!!
I have been listen to these WFT of yours for hours now. Watched 2 today (Saturday, so its an off for me) and that means around 5 hours of listening. These 5 hours have really opened my brain up and changed the outlook for me on Global economy and business side of the human existence. In other words, how money works on a larger scale. This is a great way to learn many things for a budding entrepreneur in his initial years. I wish it was there when I was in college completing my BBA. I am currently working in a U.K based Asset Management Company.
Karthik is the most brilliant man in Indian Vc space. I personally met him and his knowledge and composure is incredible. Kudos to NIKHIL to bring him here and giving him a rightful place on a vc podcast! U cannot have Indian vc without men like karthik who didn’t even have any legacy names
nikhil i dont know how to much grateful everyone is to listen to insights of all the guests and yourself. It gives direction to many. There are literally several parts where you express your thoughts on human virtues, you really express them well. It is really nice to listen to you. Thanks once again.
Such great Insights and so much value add. Unfortunately hardly any views or comments to people who create business, employment and livelihood for hundreds if not thousands of people. Honestly you entrepreneurs have to be celebrated in this country and not those celebrities, who entertain for 3 hours and then its forgotten. Salute
I don’t normally comment but this is bloody gold mine. Thanks Nikhil Sir. Ironically I think I should have had a troubled childhood to atleast think at the levels at you guys have ! Thanks again Nikhil sir for this series!
Nikhil, Thanks for bringing such amazing individuals from the industry. I have just one request though, sometimes its better to let the other panelists complete their arguments instead of interrupting them with doubts/questions. We're missing on great points because of that.
If u ur building your company and wants to understand investment eco system this is atleast 100 $ subscription knowledge available for free ,I am listening this second time now so that I don't miss anything ,Thanks Kamath brothers, this is absolutely fantastic education in easy conversation.
What I have realised is Nikhil has its own narrative around the topic before discussion and tries and forces conversation around that narrative. One shouldn't focus on a outcome of discussion and should explore others beliefs instead.
Nikhil, your podcast is really informative and you dig in a manner that teaches about an industry like no other. However, i would like it if the guests are allowed to complete their thought as sometimes you interrupt them before they complete their answer 🙏
This is fantastic; Nikhil's questions represent an average individual trying to understand the basics of the systems built around us for decades and the future. A great learning experience in total.
human nature, yes. but there are systems that force inequality (hierarchical systems which are too reductionistic), and those which force equality (like agile start-up environments).
@@Nishandh_Mayiladan you can say that for any system, capitalist system, communist system, democratic system, caste system etc.... Why system is like this because human nature was always like that due to pure biological/ survival needs.
The most high quality podcast out there on Entrepreneurship in Indian context. I feel smarter after listening to this podcast. Kudos to the panel for being so much genuine and patient. Also learning so much from Nikhil's way of expressing and asking soo good questions.

I feel investors should focus on under-the-radar stocks, considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered. I don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience. If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert.
Many people minimise the importance of counsel until their own feelings become overwhelming. A few summers ago, following a protracted divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my firm solvent. I looked for licenced advisors and found someone with the highest qualifications. She has contributed to my reserve increasing from $275k to $850k despite inflation.
Svetlana Sarkisian Chowdhury a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.
Big shoutout for launching this amazing podcast! I've heard a lot about VC before, but this episode truly simplified everything. It actually explained how, who, and why VCs decide to fund certain startups. Nikhil Kamath, you are amazing moderator! One burning question though: you dropped out of school, yet you have knowledge on EVERYTHING! How do you manage to stay so informed across so many topics? Any wisdom to share on your personal knowledge-building routine? You are inspiration to many for every age age group, Your answer on the question can help everyone to excel in their life.
Hey Nikhil, I really love what you do. Thank you! I'd recommend not revealing how much each person is willing to commit to charity, but only reveal the total to audience. While this strategy might receive lesser money, panellists are more likely to leave with a sweeter aftertaste.
There's hardly any financial podcasts/ videos I find that are informative because half of those people sound to have mugged up a book and have no real insight into the market. It's seldom I find people that are worth listening to. Throughout the session I was just awestruck at the amount of knowledge just casually thrown around. Just thank you!
To hear it from such respectable personalities in their calm, collected and clean language is absolutely wonderful. Short content wins over? Not Really, valuable 2.5hrs like this! Please do more of these.
I really appreciated the part where he spoke aboout trauma in life and about how you can either be grateful or hateful. I too recently went through my own trauma in life and i think i have become a bit of both. Yes, i am hateful in the sense that nothing really matters to me and I can at times be incorrigible to people close to me. But, I am also grateful and trying to break out of my shell in my own way Thank you for sharing your story with all of us. Truly helpful to know you're not alone.
for me this podcast is - Upar se gaya :) but the best part is I've noted many points which I need to learn and get knowledge on various things ...Thanks Nitin for such podcast for which we need to learn and come back again to know more :)
I love the way Nikhil talks and especially when he interrupts and dumbs down the question with options and then asks again. I wish I could meet him and learn from him
As Nithin mentioned - most of the discussions happened here are not available on internet, I have watched multiple VC interviews nobody is dared to ask such direct or core queries. Super amazing podcast and really useful for all startups in the nation. Hatsoff to you Nithin and offcourse I really liked your authentic nature.
I am a little late to discover Nikhil's podcast but I absolutely find the sessions too insightful. I am learning a lot from Nikhil, especially the way he speaks, the soft and slow tones and the audacity fused with the patience towards his guests. Asking follow-up questions from the finest VCs of India, keeping the three actively engaged in meaningful conversation is brilliant! Not to forget that Zerodha never raised a single penny from any institutional investors as they are completely bootstrapped so Nikhil for sure do not have experienced that journey from a founder's perspective still his questions, follow-on points are just incredible!!
To the point Nikhil mentioned about capitalism, I feel every nation should have their own perspective on capitalism, if they don't then it's sad. I believe Bharat has a unique perspective on it. Remember, Chanakya, he was a master strategist and a king maker, wrote ArthaShastra - Knowledge and wisdom on making and managing Money. Btw, we divided money in to 8 parts and also created a devotional hymns and named it Ashtalakshmi. I think Nikhil should next interview Radhakrishnan Pillai and others experts who have digested Chanakya's work across Education, Politics, Philosophy, Environment, Nation building and Business
Your brother is like your twin brother .......... speaking in synchronisation ....... he makes conversation richer ...... kudos to Kamath brothers .........
It's so inspiring to see Nikhil give back to the society in this way. I run a small business in Dubai that creates very little impact on making people's lives better ;) Always think to myself about ways in which I can meaningfully contribute to the society but get distracted. This podcast is bringing me back on track :)
Imagine a podcast with Shashi Tharoor, Nitin Gadkari, Subramanyam swami, and raghav chadha. It would be interesting to see Indian politicians talk to each other with some sense for once
This episode has turned out to be so far the best one, not that the earlier ones weren’t interesting but by the virtue of just discussion evolving over the last 8 episodes - this one left an enormous bundle of takeaways

I just had to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible podcasts you've been hosting. such a diverse range of guests and facilitate engaging conversations is truly remarkable It's not just entertainment it's a source of education and inspiration. The group discussions you curate are exciting, and I find myself eagerly anticipating each new episode.
Keep up the fantastic work, and please know that your efforts are deeply appreciated.
❤Nikhil please keep leveraging your connections to make these mini MBA podcasts keep it coming ❤
As an early 20's youth, I just love listening to such amazing people , accomplished so much and just the amount of attention to detail, I'm from Pakistan, do write on Indian startups and
would some day enter the entrepreneurship world hopefully!!
Nikhil leveling up the game...halfway in to this sesh..its super interesting and highly knowledge gaining!!
My 10,000 hours of learnings in last 10 years summarised in 2 hours. Incredible.
The synergy between Karthik, Rajan and Prashant is absolutely a treat to watch !!
nikhil i dont know how to much grateful everyone is to listen to insights of all the guests and yourself.
For example he was so fixed about broken childhood makes people do phenomenal work
I agree
He does get caught in his web
I think these are just set of questions who common people like us would have asked.
Nikhil, your podcast is really informative and you dig in a manner that teaches about an industry like no other. However, i would like it if the guests are allowed to complete their thought as sometimes you interrupt them before they complete their answer 🙏
When its Saturday, you feeling lazy to get out of the bed and you get up after seeing this notification...... Lol
The reason these guys are leaders is because they got out of their beds.😅
So true 😂🎉
you can watch this while lying down too
can relate to.that 😂
ARE MY PLEDGE HOLDINGS SAFE IF THIS GUY DATES RHEA CHAKRABORTY? PLEASE REPLY😢😢
This is fantastic; Nikhil's questions represent an average individual trying to understand the basics of the systems built around us for decades and the future. A great learning experience in total.
Yup inequality is not because of the system but because of human nature, and has always been like this.
💯💯
human nature, yes. but there are systems that force inequality (hierarchical systems which are too reductionistic), and those which force equality (like agile start-up environments).
This is the most OG episode on VC ever from an Indian podcast community!
I am truly amazed by the profound impact of this podcast. My gratitude to Nikhil for consistently delivering top-notch content. It's almost surreal that such high-quality material is accessible on RUclips without any cost. This podcast is undoubtedly a hidden gem. Please continue the excellent work. I'm currently settled in San Francisco and moving back to India in about a weeks time, what a mental boost this has been!
Loved the podcast, gold-mine. One of the worthy podcast episode from India. Please maintain the quality of content, if not raise it even further. Amazing job.
Something which I have to watch twice or thrice to understand the concept on a whole. An absolute gem of knowledge heads out there. Thanks to Nikhil and Nithin for this.
One of the very few podcasts I have seen from start to finish without getting bored. Keep up the good work!
Came through WTF brand and now watched this . I am from Nepal but this channel is best for Indian subcontinent if you want to know business whether you aspire to be a founder or highly successful business service personal . Thank you and btw Nikhil’s concept of equality is what I have been carrying with me from my childhood. Totally agree
Glad to have stumbled on this comment, Please who is the consultant that assist you and if you don't mind, how do I get in touch with them?
Hey Nikhil,
I really love what you do.
Thank you nikhil because of you i found my new favorite subject- economics 🙏
ARE MY PLEDGE HOLDINGS SAFE IF THIS GUY DATES RHEA CHAKRABORTY? PLEASE REPLY😢😢
To hear it from such respectable personalities in their calm, collected and clean language is absolutely wonderful. Short content wins over? Not Really, valuable 2.5hrs like this! Please do more of these.
1:10:17 - great to know Nikhil also likes saving 5%
I laughed so hard at that😂
I really appreciated the part where he spoke aboout trauma in life and about how you can either be grateful or hateful.
I wish I could meet him and learn from him
Stop wishing.
Why am I so excited for this episode? 😂
I think I have grown up now😢
As Nithin mentioned - most of the discussions happened here are not available on internet, I have watched multiple VC interviews nobody is dared to ask such direct or core queries. Super amazing podcast and really useful for all startups in the nation. Hatsoff to you Nithin and offcourse I really liked your authentic nature.
One polite request to Nikhil,
Please allow guest to complete their thoughts.
This has got to be one of the best episodes👏🏻 Absolutely amazed by the quality of content and the knowledge!
This is the only channel with videos that I can watch for 2.5+ hours without a break.
Your brother is like your twin brother .......... speaking in synchronisation ....... he makes conversation richer ...... kudos to Kamath brothers .........
Production quality is increasing day by day ... Thanks nikhil mic quality is top notch in this episode as compared to others
It's so inspiring to see Nikhil give back to the society in this way. I run a small business in Dubai that creates very little impact on making people's lives better ;) Always think to myself about ways in which I can meaningfully contribute to the society but get distracted. This podcast is bringing me back on track :)
Who wants to watch 'WTF is Indian Politics'?
No one
😂😂😂😂coz we already know all about it@@benz4399
Imagine a podcast with Shashi Tharoor, Nitin Gadkari, Subramanyam swami, and raghav chadha.
It would be interesting to see Indian politicians talk to each other with some sense for once
No one
@@jasraajpuri7161 Never happening.
This video teaches how a man become calm and patience with experience over time.
It would be awesome to do a podcast focused on research and development by startups especially on space tech and battery tech
This episode has turned out to be so far the best one, not that the earlier ones weren’t interesting but by the virtue of just discussion evolving over the last 8 episodes - this one left an enormous bundle of takeaways
Couldn't agree more
I like to see these two brothers bonding.
Good work Nikhil and Nithin.
Can you bring Anand Mahindra, Sudha Murthy, Ratan Tata
Great Work @Nikhil Kamath, I am just one of the comments on the million people here, However the kind of information and education these guys are distributing is Gold. I used to work for a PE fund, and if I would have been aware of all these at early of my career. i would have been at such better place. Thanks again for this Video.
