The best part about being a billionaire youtuber, is that u get to hang out with ur billionaire friends and we are able to know them better and get insights.
Muslims believe Allah created everything, including evil, yet they blame Satan for misguidance. If Allah created Satan, doesn’t the responsibility for evil ultimately return to Him?
Except from that billionaire thing, he is a deep thinker about different aspects of life. Love that . Probably he should bring Acharya Prashant on the show, that would be somewhat philosophical but still worth watching and INTERESTING.
Growing up, we were constantly reminded by our parents with the classic line, "You're not Tata or Birla's offspring," every time we left the fan on. It turns out, life here isn't much different. Wondering what will be your lines..
01:02:20 KMB was humble enough to not to mention that not only did he cleared CA in his first attempt right after his graduation, but he also ended up getting an All India Rank 2nd. Hatts off to such a dedication despite coming from such a lineage. Thanks for the conversation, Nikhil. 🙌🏻
At the heart of Birla ji is a middle class Indian family values. Then switching off light was out of virtue and practice, now it has become a requirement to save the world. Only if we had learned sooner.
Whole India is waiting for, Only you can get them to get on a podcast. 1) Mukesh Ambani Sir 2) Gautam Adani Sir 3) Radhakrishna Damini Sir 4) Uday Kotak Sir 5) Adar or Cyrus Poonawalla Sir
Him reminiscing about his regular childhood days is so much similar to what we had. As regular Millennials with no social media and hardly any exposure. And that fright of ICSE Secondary exam. It was so good to hear about his early life.
We are among the 1,80,000 people, truly indebted to him and the family…. Highly dependable company( never axed any employee even at most difficult times) respectful employer , highly ethical company… Sir, May your tribe increase.. Wishing you , your family and families depended on you a great year ahead!
one thing that i observed is that when nikhil asked sir what business can one start with 1 crore and he said none is that once you go big you lose touch with how businesses started in the first place specially when you are part of a legacy , most textile, light machinery/metal parts manufacturing units start with 1 crore in india even now and thats how they still become big . most electronics component units started with 10cr in 2017 are big now making 100 cr now some have gotten even bigger iam talking here from experience in noida, agra and varanasi in textile and light machinery industry and friends from electronics assembly
you can always start it service /bpo in less than 1 cr the opportunities in trade and services under 1 cr are endless and with huge potential to grow. large units are not the exporters in india but msme are find your niche build quality products then increase scale with time

After Rendez vous 27/28 years ago, this podcast is just what we needed! Great to see Mr. Birla 'unplugged'... A side we haven't had the opportunity to know in so many years.
I'm 22 ,started to see your podcast and learned a lot through the podcast . keep bringing it... genuinely waiting for Srk podcast to learn from it..Hope soon
Brilliant! I could relate to him so much- I'm a huge fan of chocolates too, and I often wish my father had lived a bit more, love his ideas on philanthropic activities. When I was younger, I read many of Gita Piramal's books on business; I loved learning about the journeys of business moguls. this was one of its kind
When they r eating ,It never sounded like podcast ,Nikhil 😮is making unique podcast with those people specaillly those who will never come in any podcast ,
So, I must admit it is really heartening to see Mr. KMB, sit across NK, and shed himself unlike ever before...Kudos to both the gentlemen..but some of the questions could be further probed to understand the Mr. KMB better, and his fear vs.love was well enquired regarding Niccolo Machiavelli
Really insightful conversation throughout. Respect for Mr. Kamath for bringing up with such deep questions and Mr.Birla for answering every bit of it with ease and simplicity. Love it!!
Something that I love about NIkhil's podcasts is that he is quite random with his questions, he can be talking about business at one point and about favourite food the next. Another favourite interviewer of similar sort for me is Samdish who talks about the most random things mixing it with the important topics. I would love to see an interview of Nikhil with Samdish someday where they are talking about the most important and the most random things at the same point.
@ I agree with the political ideology but am not sure if he’s bias, though we can have our own views. Also the idea here was simply to talk about how both Nikhil and Samdish have a very casual approach towards interviews and podcasts
Stark difference between generational wealth and overnight success story (in case of Nikhil). In case of the latter once you have money you are clueless what to do with it. Mr Birla nicely asked that it was time for Nikhil to start a new business vs relaxing in wealth and delving into philosophy.

So true rajjat
Ambani adani
Wow, I was thinking exactly the same line...❤❤❤❤
Birla shows class is not just money but values
True I would say even better than Tatas
There is this ease about him. He looks like someone who is at ease, in control. Comes through very clearly.
Wow. Such humility.
Waiting for Mukesh Ambani on the show ☕
🤣
Waiting for Prime Minister.
For trump
Pehle ye to pura dekh le
Need this @nikhil
Tatas and Birla are the OGs of Indian business
We really need a part 2 and part 3 of this conversation. Can we have him back?
At the heart of Birla ji is a middle class Indian family values. Then switching off light was out of virtue and practice, now it has become a requirement to save the world. Only if we had learned sooner.
Just so authentic. There is something so likeable about the man.
Whole India is waiting for, Only you can get them to get on a podcast.

Sir !!😅
@@uurk5lo4sir 😂😂overwhelming ,extra cheesy
Uday kotak i will wait till that
Why so much sir, sir. Get over it.
Sir ! 😂
Legendary interview with the legend himself
Starting in 20s as head of a group this big is incredible
Him reminiscing about his regular childhood days is so much similar to what we had. As regular Millennials with no social media and hardly any exposure. And that fright of ICSE Secondary exam. It was so good to hear about his early life.
Mr Birla’s family values really stand out
What simplicity and humility! class apart
Aise hi padma award thodi milta hai. Dum hai bande main
When we were kids we used to say Tata, Birla… there is no new business that has such reputation
Aditya Birla expanded the business, Kumar Mangalam Birla is building a global brand for Indian conglomerates
We are among the 1,80,000 people, truly indebted to him and the family…. Highly dependable company( never axed any employee even at most difficult times) respectful employer , highly ethical company… Sir, May your tribe increase.. Wishing you , your family and families depended on you a great year ahead!
Yes Kamath ji I am right now 19 year old boy and I am following you from before 1 year. and I always enjoy your business podcast.
Even of him exams were frightening. Should show this interview to my parents.
He’s a humble guy. I have seen another interview of him where he admitted he was almost forced to be a CA
He has defaulted 2.5 lakh cr loan to bank and given 300cr bribe to bjp
one thing that i observed is that when nikhil asked sir what business can one start with 1 crore and he said none is that once you go big you lose touch with how businesses started in the first place specially when you are part of a legacy , most textile, light machinery/metal parts manufacturing units start with 1 crore in india even now and thats how they still become big . most electronics component units started with 10cr in 2017 are big now making 100 cr now some have gotten even bigger iam talking here from experience in noida, agra and varanasi in textile and light machinery industry and friends from electronics assembly

Nice move to get him. Good to see his other side than as a business
Across The internet, your podcast is quite useful for the generations

Psychology can play a good role in building a customer focused business. Now I know the secret sauce
This is a long episode yet dint realise
After Rendez vous 27/28 years ago, this podcast is just what we needed! Great to see Mr. Birla 'unplugged'... A side we haven't had the opportunity to know in so many years.
Love the chemistry between the two. A 4th gen legend and a 1st gen rock star.
Advice to young entrepreneurs on consistency is bang on! So simple and yet so powerful.
I'm 22 ,started to see your podcast and learned a lot through the podcast . keep bringing it... genuinely waiting for Srk podcast to learn from it..Hope soon
Privileged to watch this type of content! 🤝🇮🇳
Thanks Nikhil for this, btw, should you may be get Anand Mahindra soon ?
Yes with Anand Mahindra it would be an interesting talk
Birla birla bahut suna hai. Aaj jaana hai
Brilliant! I could relate to him so much- I'm a huge fan of chocolates too, and I often wish my father had lived a bit more, love his ideas on philanthropic activities. When I was younger, I read many of Gita Piramal's books on business; I loved learning about the journeys of business moguls. this was one of its kind
Having worked for him in the past. This podcast does true justice to his character and values. It certainly proves why he is on such a level
Nikhils intellect sense is going bollywood
"Two brilliant minds, one incredible conversation!
👍
Bring these episodes twice in a week ❤❤❤❤
One of the most wholesome wtf podcast till now . Feels like knowing a man through and out .
Mr. Birla - a businessman par excellence. Phenomenal podcast!
He is sooo relatable. Every Indian middle class has similar stories of childhood
What he has done to Birla Group is amazing. He has turned it around
One of the happy moments, when i see people are serving food for the guest..
Mr. Birla is constantly trying to understand how does he get time to ponder about past for nothing...😂😂 1:43:50
Thank you so much Nikhil for this enriching podcast. God bless you ❤❤
@nikhil Great one. I think we might need one more episode/session from him, where he just talks about businesses and how others can grow.
When they r eating ,It never sounded like podcast ,Nikhil 😮is making unique podcast with those people specaillly those who will never come in any podcast ,
Loved his narration on childhood memories. Relatable!
For some reason, Mr Birla wasn’t able to reflect the depth that I expected
Also I think he didn't spoke much about %what sector can be starting startup for young entrepreneur
Informal dress would have helped...but KM looks clear in his mind and sophisticated..and kept asking questions to Nikhil..
An Achiever truly
maybe for the first time, feeling nikhil might be the second smartest people in the class after kumar Birla..
Respect for his simplicity & soberness Mr.Kumar Birla
I have a family friend who worked with him. He says, he is one of the most approachable people he has ever met
Birla’s legacy is truly inspiring
Useful advice on emotional availability. Too much of it can be toxic
Great time to get him on the podcast. The group is visibly shifting gears.
Really insightful conversation throughout. Respect for Mr. Kamath for bringing up with such deep questions and Mr.Birla for answering every bit of it with ease and simplicity. Love it!!
There should be a way to create playlist of all such interviews of India’s legendary businessman
Never knew about this interview, glad this popped on my insta
His take on creativity is inspiring
The most awaited interview will be with Mr Anand Mahendra with Nikhil
And now forward I have began to think that Nikhil is capable of pulling in Mr. Buffet too. Please do so.
Samdish does interviews with a biased approach. He often has a political ideology back of his mind and the question he churns out often aligns to it
@ I agree with the political ideology but am not sure if he’s bias, though we can have our own views. Also the idea here was simply to talk about how both Nikhil and Samdish have a very casual approach towards interviews and podcasts
Both Nikhil and KMB are so Zen. What a pleasure to listen to both of them
Need more and more guests like him Thank you for bringing Him.
Early career stories of legends are always inspiring
Truly understands the power of creativity
Truly Indian at heart. Exam fever inko bhi tha :-D
I have worked in birla group they are the best in corporate governance
This is content pro max…mazza aa gaya
The Theherav that Mr. Birla is having in his voice, shows his wisdom and experience ❤
His vulnerability is admirable
His journey is nothing short of amazing
Perseverance shines through in his journey
This was truly an emotional rollercoaster
For lot of us, back then pressure to learn was very high. Parents often put scare in the mind
Each generation of Birla family had a very different outlook on how to run business. Kumar Birla is focused on global market leadership
This interview is a gem
What a content full conversation man... Mr Birla has really great demeanor shows the top belongs to the best only. Great great work Nikhil bro 🔥
Whacked for not getting books. Nostalgia. Admire his frankness.
Conversation is deep, top quality
That interview was legendary
Creativity is the key to success, so true
Aweasome conversation, bring Anand Mahindra on the show. I think that conversation is going to be very electric and inspiring.
Yuhin nahi hum tata Birla kehte the
Really grateful for nikhil sir to bring out these titans of industry in a candid setting …. No one would be able to give us this kinda content
His perspective is truly inspiring
Life-changing insights packed in one conversation
So motivating to hear his struggles
The part where he talks about gupt daan. Brilliant. Just respect for the man and his family.
Birla ji answers are to the point.
Stark difference between generational wealth and overnight success story (in case of Nikhil). In case of the latter once you have money you are clueless what to do with it. Mr Birla nicely asked that it was time for Nikhil to start a new business vs relaxing in wealth and delving into philosophy.
Views on philanthropy so insightful and profound
Wow!! Simply Wow!!!! Mind blown….Subscribed to your podcast today…..What a gentleman!
Ekdum jhakass!!!
Such a meaningful and emotional journey
