- If any of you are wondering what is the actual tape-in extensions brand I use, they are Glam Seamless. I bought the traditional remy tape-in 18A/60 20”. I bought the replacement tape there too: bit.ly/2Ovgqhr
Here are some links to all the other items I used. These are just products I personally enjoy, but feel free to use whatever you have on hand just make sure the conditioner is something very smoothing and nourishing like this one. You’ll also want to make sure the shampoo is sulfate free.

this is honestly the best video about this that I've seen. xx
thank you so much! I made it b/c I felt like people didn't explain in detail how to prep the extensions and if you don't do it right, you won't be able to reuse the hair. glad it helped!
Thanks Sooo much 🎉
My Stanchions are layered and face framing, this could be tricky trying to keep the original placement. In the future, it will be helpful, when I’m no longer layering it. Thank you
I know what you mean so I would usually just bring them to my hairdresser with some new ones and she would use as many as possible and dispose of any that were too short
thanks soooo much i needed this and your so clear about things
You're so welcome!
Good vid. This is the part I hate. U explained it well. I use butterfly clips that I labeled rows 1-7 and right and left side. Helps me organize them to replace them.
that's a good idea! the better you keep track of the placement, the more times you'll be able to use them. otherwise the length gets shorter every time it's trimmed to blend in your hair.
I'm going to get my very first tape ins end of this month. I'm curious, why do some pieces get so matted while the others look smooth and reusable after washing? Is there something the wearer does while they are installed that causes them to go bad? great video with so much info for new users.
Sorry I am just now seeing this. I noticed that pieces near the bottom of the head are the worst. It’s because that’s where you tend to sweat and where it’s hardest to brush them out properly. I don’t think it’s really possible to prevent it. Extension hair isn’t meant to last forever, you just have to replace as needed.
This was so helpful. I’ve had this huge matted pile of tape ins all stuck together sitting in a drawer for months lol.
I finally cleaned, conditioned and retaped them now thanks to you!
awesome! I'm glad it worked for you
@@StasiaReviewsStuff thanks again. I’m wearing them now and so happy 😅👌
lol me too literally on top of my dresser 😂
Thank you so much for this video!
This was great! Thank you!
glad it helped!
what lip color are you wearing?
when I'm retaping, instead of applying the new tape onto the hair i take off the paper and put the hair directly onto it and it makes it so much more organized for me!
good tip!
Thank you so much for this!
Great idea, with the blade!
Thanks! it makes it so much easier!
What is the hydrogen peroxide for?
clean/sanitize and get more of the old glue gunk off so you can start fresh with a new tape. First time I cleaned them I didn't do that and the retaped pieces were slipping more in my hair than new ones. This step helped.
@@StasiaReviewsStuff Thank you!
@@StasiaReviewsStuff ah thanks for that too I will totally be using this method
