I just got hair extensions for the first time just last week and still have been afraid to wash my hair, but your tips are great! I have a lot more confidence in doing it now! Thank you! :)
I add shampoo and water to a dye bottle from Sally's to get the shampoo in just the roots and just finger scrub all the hard places it's work to maintain them but soooo worth it 😍
I love this series so thankful for it. now I know why it would never blend because I never got enough. I always just thought I was doing it wrong or I couldn’t get that long of extensions.

You are adorable! Just a tip, when you apply oil before heat, you are essentially frying your hair, imagine putting oil in a pan and then adding your food. Thankyou for sharing! 💜
Thank you! I've been babying my tape ins as I am afraid to cause them to slip after spending $600 for them. You are so beautiful & informative. New sub here
First time with tape-ins and I've had some slippage. No wonder! Thanks for all the tips and the live demo. Reading articles was not helpful, I needed a visual. I was having so much trouble not letting my scalp get itchy but also not overscrubbing. Thank you!!!
Thank you for helpful video. I'm gonna wash my hair today for first time with hair extensions. It's my first time with the extensions so little nervous. And great idea to wash just your top hair. I'll have to try that when my hair is looking bad. I have really long hair so gonna take some getting use to. It's 22 inches long. Only thing I'm not liking about tape ins is not being able to wear up due to tapes showing so can only do a low pony tail untill I figure out hair styles other then wearing it down.
Great video! I’m doing tapes for the first time tomorrow with the help of your other video on putting them in. When you were styling your hair in this video, what were you spraying before brushing? Was it MATRIX Total Results Length Goals Extensions Perfector Multi-Benefit Heat Protectant & Styling Spray?
your vids are so helpful thank you! did you dye your pink hair or did it come already pink? ive just ordered bleach blonde ones that im gonna have to dye to blend with the rest of my pink hair. If so, do you have a video on how to dye tips?:)
I was definitely wondering about the weight with washing long hair extensions. I just got 26 inch extensions so would the shoulder method you did work for them or should I go about it a different way since it will be so heavy? Thanks! ❤
Hello :) Could you consider doing a tape0in Q&A video. I'm sure there was a lot of questions in the comments and maybe it would be nice to collect them all in one video. A few questions from me: Can you do a high pony tail with extensions? Could you show us in one of the videos? How often do you have to remove and reapply the tapes? How do you remove and reuse the tapes? What type of hair do you use? European? Asian?
Found your video because no matter how thoroughly I wash my extensions (tape, brand Hairtalk done by salon), I cannot get the "roots" dry...it ends up feeling greasy at best, after 30 minutes trying to dry and I never put any conditioner on roots only the recommended shampoo
So far I’ve had tape ins for 3 weeks and I already had one tape in slide out but the rest are pretty stuck in there did you ever go through the same thing? Just wondering what to do to prevent it and to help keep them longer ;(
this has never happened to me, I'm wondering if maybe its the brand of the actual tape? Just make sure when they are applied that your hair is clean so just shampoo your hair not conditioner or products so the tapes can make a strong bond. and then when you are caring for them just make sure not to put any conditioner or oil on the bonds because that will cause them to slip.
When blow drying do you set dryer on hot, cool, or warm? I had a catastrophe yesterday with my tape INS. Like 6 of my tracks came out and several more slid down. I didn't use any conditioner at all.
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. I recommend what Ashley mentioned; medium heat and not keeping it on the actual bonds for too long. But they should be able to hold pretty well maybe it could be the brand of tape that was used?
And after watching that I'm reminded why I quit doing woman's hair, and that I'm very thankful to have normal hair. This looks like a ton of effort for narcissistic gain that is completely transparent.
@val71999 😂😂 took the thoughts right out of my brain. Some people. Just don't comment. This process obviously stirs up some anger so why not go watch puppies play but from the sounds of it, they are probably happy they are no longer a dog owner. Caring for those needy little things for what? Unconditional love. Hmmm... Who needs that?
I have a question what to do if tapes will get really wet ? How to dry cyz last tine when my tapes get wet some hair fall down thank u ❤❤ good video kerp it up 🩵🩵

i never thought about washing only the oily not-taped part, absolutly mindblowing! 😂♥️ thanks for sharing your tips with us 🥰
1st time with tape ins and you calmed my terror of managing them haha, thanks so much!
hahah! glad I could help 💓

1st time with tape in extensions.. I was so scared to wash my hair lol
haha I know the feeling! so many people are but once you do it its really not that different from washing your hair normally
Ditto!!!
Me too😂 I'm so glad I got it done. Lol
I had k tips first now I have tape ins and I'm nervous to wash the tape ins just like I was to wash the k tips for the first time 😂
I'm still scared and I've been getting them for a year lol
I would have never thought to put the end of the hair on my shoulder like that! So helpful
its a game changer!

How long was it until you had slippage?

The way that you’ve applied your blush is super pretty. Going to try that soon 💟
Helped me a lot for a first timer thanks 😊

What a great trick to let it rest on your shoulder!
Thank you so much for this series! It’s so helpful!
yay! I'm so happy that you found it helpful

Great video! I really needed to hear all this. Thanks for posting :) you got my follow :)
Thank you Traci!
Hair extensions is always beautiful dry but to wash. It has always been so much work. Its easy to tangle and it feels so heavy
Thank you for this! I just got tape in extensions a few days ago and I’m terrified to wash my hair 😂
Me to girl I got mine done last weekend lol
Amazing video! thank you so much!

What type of hair do you use? European? Asian?
I just saw one of your videos with ouielle being used for an advertisement for ALLY hair on amazon
omg wtf. ty for letting me know! I am going to file a copyright report 😒
The only blow dryer I have is a hairbrush type, is that okay or should I invest in a new one?
What do you think about olaplex shampoo and conditioner?
Over rated. They profit off of self conscious women who hold too much meaning in their hair.
So helpful! Thank you!
So its ok to shampoo them with care? But only use conditioner on ends and not near tape Is that right?
Yes that's right! :)
Found your video because no matter how thoroughly I wash my extensions (tape, brand Hairtalk done by salon), I cannot get the "roots" dry...it ends up feeling greasy at best, after 30 minutes trying to dry and I never put any conditioner on roots only the recommended shampoo
Hi where did you purchase your extensions from?

@@JannaNiki what brand tape do you recommend?
What shampoo you use
Looks great you look gorgeous
Thank you so much 🥰
I’m about to wash mine for the first time I’ve never done tape in extensions before I’m nervous as fuck
Thank you so much!!!
what length are your extensions? love it
22" :)
I feel like I never rinse my hair properly… it’s there’s still shampoo in my hair when my hair is dried :(
That's how I feel to. But it never comes out lol
Could be you are using a wrong formula of shampoo for your haor/scalp or need to wash it 2 times
what did you spray on your hair before blow drying it?
Looked like Schwarzkopf got 2 b guardian angel heat protectant spray
When blow drying do you set dryer on hot, cool, or warm? I had a catastrophe yesterday with my tape INS. Like 6 of my tracks came out and several more slid down. I didn't use any conditioner at all.
I alternate hot and cold because too much heat makes them slide
Use medium heat and just try not to leave heat on the actual wefts for too long.
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. I recommend what Ashley mentioned; medium heat and not keeping it on the actual bonds for too long. But they should be able to hold pretty well maybe it could be the brand of tape that was used?
I can't mine clean for the life of me and they are frizzy
And after watching that I'm reminded why I quit doing woman's hair, and that I'm very thankful to have normal hair.
This looks like a ton of effort for narcissistic gain that is completely transparent.
What are you even talking about?
Thank God you quit with that attitude.
are you okay? like genuinely. these are strong feelings to have about someone else's hair.
