As a cosmetologist, I’m super happy and impressed how well your caring and styling your hair. I wish EVERYONE would care for their hair at home like this. Your applying and doing everything perfectly! Working in small sections, clean partings. This is key ladies to a flawless finish! And the primer treatment and gloss. You always use these. Follow this advice pls! And DOWNWARD drying I’m really relieved to see. Little tip, refrain from ever shaking your hair dryer back n forth. Keep that nozzle directly flat and 90 degree angled down on the cuticle. You can pre dry the roots as well to make a faster less damaging drying process. This advice is Cosmetology approved! ❤️
This video was amazing!! I got extensions a couple days ago and was preparing for my first wash and was super nervous! Definitely needed this video! I always blow out my hair but it is totally different with extensions! Thanks a bunch!
i usually only watch youtube's with a larger following but i came across you because i want extensions. I just wanted to say your so underrated, and so pretty. and you have consistent posts! you definitely deserve more of a following
Loved this video. I just got tape in extensions almost 3 weeks ago. Biggest fear is washing & that they will fall out. Ive had it washed at salon twice. Want to learn to do it myself. This video helped.❤
Always rinse the first application of shampoo that didn’t lather before putting the next one in! Wastes way less product bc the second application cleans better on “cleaner” hair! Yes I’m a hairdresser 😍
Absolutely loved this video. I love that you explain why you're using each product and what they do. I have tape ins so I was so appreciative of your tid bit about not putting direct heat on them. I'm definitely not the best with the brush and dryer method but I'll keep trying ☺️
Thanks so much for demonstrating shampooing in the show - super helpful. My hairdresser told me not to let them air dry because of mould build up? Did you ever experience this? I got extensions a few days ago, and already it’s big poofy frizzy mess. Going to try some of your tips and hopefully it will be more manageable
Glad this video was helpful for you! I've never heard of the mold build up on extensions. ive never experienced it and none of my coworkers or clients either. thank you for watching :)
I have heard of this yes, but it’s just a cautionary tale. It’s really just your stylist telling you not to let your extensions air dry on your head without drying the base of the weft at least, if nothing else. It gets a moldy smell, very faint, but that’s a natural reaction. Sometimes that happens if you go too long without washing, or if you’ve had a lot of sweat in your hair. I live in Florida where it’s always super hot or raining, so sweat is pretty common, and I have to pay attention to my extension maintenance a bit more because of that. I don’t think your stylist meant to worry you about actual mold, I think she just meant to tell you (as did the girl in this video) fo make sure you dry the weft base area. That’s all :)
I have keratin extensions and I just can't get used to washing my hair with my head up in the shower. I always used to wash it with my head down. Now, I feel my hair is never washed thoroughly and it gets oily and itchy very quickly.
Like she suggested you have to use your fingers horizontal. If you have alot of extensions in your hair I would suggest washing your hair in sections starting from the bottom. I had to do this because I was having the same issue even though I have tape in extensions. Once I did that my head felt so much better and cleaner. Hope this helps.
Ohhh mt god you are a lifesaver. I just got extensions two days ago, i did really long ones more longer than yours! I was really struggling with them i even thought taking them off! Thank you soooo much 💜
Great video! I’m prepping for my first hair ext wash and this gave me relief 😅. How many tapes do you use and what length? I used 30 tapes (15 sandwiches) but I’m thinking of adding more and yours looks full 😍.!!
Your hair is beautiful... I’m about to get extensions for my first time... I can’t imagine only washing my hair once a week???? What do you do for your hair routine inbetween washes to keep it looking so great?
Aw thanks so much :) Luckily for me my hair doesn’t get as oily as others... towards the last few days i use the Batiste Dry shampoo! Thanks so much for watching!
i recommend the halo hair extension it has no damage and you can take it out when it you need to and put it in whenever you want, just clips in nice and easy
Love this video! I’m growing out my bob currently, I’m just past my shoulders at the moment and hoping my hair will be long enough so extensions soon. Your pup is super cute too!💗
My tape-ins have been great except I have a tendency to have the under shorter layers separate and become piece-y and noticeably shorter where they hang on each sides of my neck. Do you have any advice on how to get them to blend in more with the extensions? I have fine hair.
Yes i have a tip for you! take those little shorter pieces underneath and hair tie them to a lil ponytail! that will help alot! hope this helps! thanks for watching 💕
I love how long your extensions are! Right now I’m using the Moroccan Oil blow dryer and I love it but I do want to try out the Revlon blow drying brush too. My sister is the one who told me about it.
i have naturally curly hair, but wear it straight more often than not so i want straight extension. i’m worried about getting tape ins because when i wash my hair, it’s going to curl up but the extensions won’t. what do i do??
You should really try the Revlon blowdry brush then :) Its alot easier then using 2 tools! & Yes that Oribe Thickening Treatment is AMAZING and actually works 🙂
The Revlon roll drying brush is the BEST thing I could of ever bought. It makes it so easy to blow dry your hair and roll brush it at the same time. I highly recommend it! You won't be disappointed.
Revlon Dryer Brush is a must have. It is the best hair care product I have and would be lost without it. Heats up wonderfully and so easy to roll brush your hair as it dries. It leaves your hair smooth, shiny and soft. Highly recommend it!
Such a beautiful woman with beautiful hair....you make it look so easy...with my hair its really bad to tame, one touch of wet weather or humidity it goes really frizzy. Would love hair extensions but for hair that doesn't stay straight or stay whatever styled its really upsetting i cant do anything with it.
How long does the hair you use last? I've boughten so many different brands of 613 hair and can't get them to last more than 6 weeks! I buy 26" and by 6 weeks they've broken down to 14". I cant figure out a routine for the life of me🤦♀️ Or how to keep them hydrated.
Have you ever tried JZ Styles? Thats the brand I use! You can purchase them online. They sell tape ins, wefts and clip ins! I use the 22 inch and I keep the hair for about 6 months and I never have to trim them! Also try olaplex number 3 to apply on your extensions to help them stay hydrated. Hopefully this helps 🙂 Thanks for watching
I love this video! Thank you so much for the help. I only have one question… how many inches long are your extensions? I want to get 24 inch extensions because I want my hair really long and really love your hair length. I don’t mean to bother I was just wondering.😊♥️
Hey 2 questions. 1. What’s the brand of the highlighter you used on your makeup routine and 2. What’s the name of the music you used. I keep trying to find this on Spotify bc I’m hearing it everywhere! Thanks!
Did you have to use to bleach your own hair to match your extensions? Cause I love your hair but I don’t want to damage my hair since I’m coming back from platinum blonde to my natural hair color and regrowing heathy again
i had a previously blonde balayage in my hair but i do like my extensions more blonde that way i dont have to keep bleaching my hair! hope this helps! thanks for watching :)
Wow! beautiful hair, I got extensions for 1st time and after 2 wks, they a\started to get ratty. Microbead extensions. CONditioner treatment worked pretty god, but, after a month, they are still uncomfortable to wear, like putting in clips or pony tail hurt. I have to get them removed now because they dont even hold a style anymore...they turn rats nest after about 30 minutes. I was told they were Remy hair...idk. So there is no way I could blow dry like that, too painful. So your hair brand, does it start getting shabby looking (frizzy, and unruly?). Since I have shaved sides, A little tricky, but, will look into the n braid sew in. Thats for your great video
Braidless sew in is my favorite type of extensions! your head will be sore for a couple days after installation but its so worth it lol Thanks for watching!
I have nano extensions and wondered if that scalp thickening treatment would be a no-go given I'm not supposed to put oils close to the beads....I want to try it though!
According to my personal experience, the products of Markethairextension are of great quality, i used their products for many years and they provide good service for customers. It may help you solve the problems.
In my opinion i love the braidless because you dont have to deal with messy tape removing them but the tape ins are more natural and comfortable to wear. Hopefully this helps! thanks for watching :)
My hair is super similar to yours and I love your extensions!! I’m about to get extensions how many grams and length was in this pic for you? My hair dresser told me to get 150 grams for 2 rows of hand tied does that sound right?
When you wash your hair do you just wash the scalp area and let the shampoo run through the extensions on rinsing, or do you shampoo the extension to tip aswell?
i wash my scalp and let the shampoo run through the bottom... unless i was in the pool, salt water or too much product on it I'll wash the bottom too! Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
So just new to this whole world but had a series of disasters with my once beautiful flaess hair and no look to extensions as an esteemed booster but will be in them for a while.. do you have e any tips on damage reduction for the long haul....obviously already fighting damage so minimizing the bad effects from what im depending on to help would be awesome.....?and any tips on dying effectively with extensions also... 😊 🙏
Hello :) i would recommend to start using Olaplex number 3 treatment once a week to start repairing and strengthening the hair. Also if you use alot of heat on your hair i would try to minimize that alot too. Thanks for watching!
YES!! I love it its amazing! It definitely makes your color last a little longer! Also the beautiful color glaze from that line is AMAZING! Makes your hair super shiny and brightens up your color a little more!
I’ve had this done three days ago this type of extensions and I’m finding my head so sore :( it’s my first time having hair extensions and I feel like I really can’t do anything with. Apart from wear it down
It’s completely normal to feel soreness after installing extensions! Take some ibuprofen and the soreness should go away in a couple days. Once it starts growing out a bit you’ll be able to play around with different hairstyles then just having it down :) Hopefully this helps! Thanks for watching!
I was told it should not be sore or painful. It might be a little tender, but if they are really sore I would go back. Did you get tape in or the kind she got?
@@DallasStorm43 I took them out 2 days after probably the worst kind of extensions I’ve ever had too bulky and definitely not what I like lol, they were la wefts.
@@nelixxx6617 You should try Bella Donna tape in extensions. Buy them yourself and find a good place that knows how to put them in right and not add too much. I promise you will love it
I have always had short hair:( and I’m getting extensions and I got real hair bundles 20 inch and I’m scared bc i don’t know to get glue in or sew in .
I really want to get extensions, but I go to the beach a lot and surf like once a week which can get pretty rigorous on the hair. I’m afraid it will show/fall out. Do you think it’s still possible for me to get them. Pleaseeee be honest

Hi! Love your video n extensions! Beautiful!!! Can you PLEASE let me know what wet hair brush you are using to detangle and brush your hair? Also if ever you have time would you please do a video on how you sleep with your hair extensions to keep them super beautiful like yours? I am trying all the Oribe products you mentioned!, it’s an investment but worth it. Thank you for your videos! Stay so Beautiful 🌺
aww thank you 😊 Im using just the regular wet brush they sell. I did purchase mine from Marshalls because its a little cheaper. Also I dont have my extensions in at the moment because im giving my hair a little break but once i get them back in i can do another video on hair care with hair extensions :) Im so glad you’re gonna try the Oribe Products! You’re going to be Oribe Obsessed for sure 😊 Thanks for watching 💓
This video is great! I've been using the shampoo you recommended and love it. Question though, I find that sometimes my hair parts in the back and my braid ins become visible, any recommendation for how to blow dry the part out or style it to where you can't see it?
Im hoping you read my comment🥺 I have sew in extensions as well however I feel as they become lose from the ends and unsew. I wash my hair once a week. and Im careful with them. How do you avoid this?🥺
Hello :) hmmm it might the hairdresser who put them in didnt tighten them that well. They shouldnt unsew themself. Buying new hair depends on the brand.. do you know the brand by any chance? Average you wanna replace the hair around every 6- 8 months. As far as taking breaks i would say a month break maybe twice a year. Ive done that and my natural hair is just fine :) Hopefully this helps!
@@ashhluna thank you so much for replying🥺💛 and tbh yes. I’m starting to think it’s because of the way she installs them because the first time they were good.. after that they just unsew from the ends and I feel as she rushes me from her chair😭😭 they are ruby rose extensions. thank you so much🥺💛

Hello :)
i would recommend to start using Olaplex number 3 treatment once a week to start repairing and strengthening the hair. Also if you use alot of heat on your hair i would try to minimize that alot too.

I have 400g micro ring, russian hair and I love it 😍
What shaving cream are you using here please?
Are there some budget options ? I don’t have the money for the oribe collection😞😩
Igk is a great professional brand too :)
Can you give a list of the products you used ?
Its listed in the description below :)

Hi, have you tried the Oribe Color shampoo & conditioner? Your views on it ?
Once it starts growing out a bit you’ll be able to play around with different hairstyles then just having it down :)
Hopefully this helps!
You should try clip ins then :)
Also do you find the split end seal to really work? I’m thinking about buying
Spilt end treatment is definitely one of my favs from Oribe :) I use it almost everyday in my hair! and it smells AMAZING!
Thanks for watching!
I really want to get extensions, but I go to the beach a lot and surf like once a week which can get pretty rigorous on the hair. I’m afraid it will show/fall out. Do you think it’s still possible for me to get them. Pleaseeee be honest
Honestly I wouldn’t recommend because it could be too much for your hair! Thanks for watching 💓
That link doesn’t take me to the blow dry brush by revlon? Do you have a diff link? ❤️

Yes these extensions are real hair :) the brand is called JZ styles!
@@ashhluna thank you 🌹🤗
love your video
Stay so Beautiful 🌺
aww thank you 😊
Im using just the regular wet brush they sell. I did purchase mine from Marshalls because its a little cheaper.
Also I dont have my extensions in at the moment because im giving my hair a little break but once i get them back in i can do another video on hair care with hair extensions :)
Im so glad you’re gonna try the Oribe Products! You’re going to be Oribe Obsessed for sure 😊
Thanks for watching 💓
This video is great! I've been using the shampoo you recommended and love it. Question though, I find that sometimes my hair parts in the back and my braid ins become visible, any recommendation for how to blow dry the part out or style it to where you can't see it?
hello :)
maybe try teasing that area so its less noticeable.
Thanks for watching!
I know this video is a little bit old BUT can I really use Olaplex Shampoo on my Tape extensions?
yes you can!
@@ashhluna thank you so much i was so scared bc of the oils in the shampoo!😩🥰
Did you have pain in your hair extensions.. I did kertain but I have pain
Im hoping you read my comment🥺 I have sew in extensions as well however I feel as they become lose from the ends and unsew. I wash my hair once a week. and Im careful with them. How do you avoid this?🥺
ALSO how often should I buy new hair? And how often should I take a break from extensions ? you know since your natural Hair needs a break
Hello :)
hmmm it might the hairdresser who put them in didnt tighten them that well. They shouldnt unsew themself.
Buying new hair depends on the brand.. do you know the brand by any chance? Average you wanna replace the hair around every 6- 8 months.
As far as taking breaks i would say a month break maybe twice a year. Ive done that and my natural hair is just fine :)
Hopefully this helps!
@@ashhluna thank you so much for replying🥺💛 and tbh yes. I’m starting to think it’s because of the way she installs them because the first time they were good.. after that they just unsew from the ends and I feel as she rushes me from her chair😭😭 they are ruby rose extensions. thank you so much🥺💛
what type are you using an what brand?
really really love your hair。 what’s kind of your hair extensions?
Thank you!! they are called braidless sew in :)
According to my personal experience, the products of Markethairextension are of great quality, i used their products for many years and they provide good service for customers.
