My last incredible thrift find was a complete accident! So, I was taking my oldest to see the “Nutcracker” and it was formal dress so I was shopping for a clutch. I found this really nice, good sized leather clutch. I smelled it and could tell it was real leather, had really pretty bronze details.. and it was $1.50! So I grabbed it! Well, I got home and started wondering about the brand and where it would have come from. So I type in the brand and a brief description of the clutch. Yeah.... so a couple identical clutches popped up priced at $250-350!! And most of them were in more worn condition than mine... I ended up doing more research and discovered it was a limited edition clutch from fashion week! There was only around 500 of them made! So, I felt pretty dang cool! 😎🤣

Sandy Hurtado Smells are easy. I use Natron. I think you‘ll call it baking soda NaHCO₃ . It removes bad smell and a lot of stains. For white clothes I use soda Na2CO3. It makes everything really white if you let it soak a little. I use 1/4 cup up to 1/2 cup and it works fine. I have two dogs and I know dirt and smell 😂

Ive lost about 40 pounds, i went from a size 13 pants to an 8 and large tops to a medium. I recently thrifted a whole new wardrobe for 40.00!!!! I love thrifting, and it made me so excited to get my winter wardrobe at a smaller size.

I love neutrals too and a huge thrifter! I let my kids wear what they like and choose their colours, an elderly lady once told me they can wear anything at that age #dresskidslikekids and they'll have a ton of time to wear pastels and neutrals when they get old, and i really liked that - so I let my kids have full control of their styles for their #minimalist wardrobes. I love seeing them have fun in their combos they come up with🌱
I really do let my daughter wear what she wants as well. Im making sure shes covered up, like not forgetting underwear and pants under a dress eg but colors and pattetns and stuff i let her choose. She loves pink and all the glitter in the world and sequins, the double sided ones. I hate all of it, but i let her do her thing still. Its part pf expressing herself, shes 5 by now so i wanna encourage her :)
Thrifter here! The last thing I got and am super proud of is a cast iron skillet big enough to put a whole salmon in. :D Love it!
I am a thrifter! I scored a leather couch, loveseat, and recliner PLUS a flatscreen tv, entertainment center, 2 side tables, and 2 lamps for $150!!!!!! I count all second hand shopping as thrifting and found this on Facebook marketplace. I’ve gotten SO many amazing deals on marketplace.
My daughter has autism and super picky- she loves the Tea collection clothes but dang theyre pricey. I walked into a local shop and someone donated their entire wardrobe in her size! I ended up paying 6$ for 5 dresses with leggings! Mornings have been SO much easier! Lol
My son has autism and ADHD and he's a big fan of star wars a couple of weeks ago went to the warehouse extra here in new Zealand my kids needed clothes and because my son is a fan of star wars all he wanted was all star wars clothes so we ended up getting all the star wars clothes we could find now my son wears star wars everyday BTW my son is 15

I live in a small town in Austria and the thrift stores we have are tiny and hardly have good quality stuff.. also it isn’t even that cheap

Yes! Curtains that match the aesthetic of my diy room make over, which consists on mainly thrifting and refurbish old furniture to match what I'm going for, I made boho seats out of old tires on my home, I LOVE IT!

I thrifted the majority of my kids’ clothes when they were little. I also sewed all of my son’s “fancy” clothes for special occasions. Thrift shops are also the best place to find shorts and sandals in March when we went south to find the warmth for vacations. My best thrift finds: I’ve thrifted an Evan Picone dress for me, a Dior onesie for my baby, a Laundry by Shelly Segal dress for me, Columbia ski pants, Max Mara dress for me and so much more!
Yesterday I found an entire set of vintage glazed stoneware dishes for $20 and a beautiful lagoon green 7.5 quart Lodge enameled cast iron Dutch oven for $28 🤯 best day ever!!!

I love thrifting so much! I just discovered that I could do it last year. I emptied out my ENTIRE wardrobe!! Except a couple pairs of jeans. It actually got me excited about clothing again, to the point where I almost like doing laundry! Crazy! I’ve switched over to an almost fully cotton clothing collection, it just makes me feel that much better! Thank u for this video!

We recently celebrated my baby girl's first birthday and her gifts from us happened to (unintentionally) follow a bath time theme (bath toys, bath mat, tub spout, etc), and I happened across THEE CUTEST, most amazing little bathrobe at the thrift store! It seemed brand spankin new and rung up to like TWO DOLLARS! I was stoked. And I continue to be stoked every time she waddles around in it after her baths.
I love Once Upon a Child too! I used to buy my daughter's clothes all new from Walmart/Target, then I discovered Once Upon a Child and now almost all of her clothes come from there!
I am a thrifter, definitely! Last 2 purchases were a warm and good as new winter coat and a black skinny Levi's. Love them and makes me happy to wear. Also, I'm always very excited to tell people that I thrifted the clothes I get compliments for.

As I've started to FINALLY loose weight, I am able to start shopping out of the plus size sections, which has made it so much easier to thrift! (More selection/not all stretched out) I found a pair of Levi's pants for $6 with the tag still on, and they fit perfect!

This video was so well edited but my favourite part was seeing Elizabeth holding “the big red ripe strawberry and the very hungry bear”. I stored this book from my childhood and my two year old son is currently obsessed with it. Made my day.

Yes 100%! We bought pretty much all of our wedding decor either second hand or through thrift shops. A lantern, 3 stick candle stand, frames, candle holders, lights to name just a few things. Not only am I supporting these charities I'm reusing and donating back to them.
My last thrift was a black overall dress that was corridor with little pink and orange flowers on it and it’s so pretty and thick so it’s easy to layer and it’s adjustable so it can grow with me which is awesome!

Most of my wardrobe is either thrifted or from friends ;) my friend gave me her cozy north face jacket, and i thrifted 3 new pairs of jeans that actually fit me (post partum!!), 3 pairs of shoes, and a slew of new shirts. I just turned 30 and had a baby 7 months ago so I was able to upgrade my clothes for so cheap. Very thankful for our goodwill!

Just this past weekend I was searching for some clothing for a work party that has a theme. Was a bust on that front, but found such a RAD vegan leather back satchel for my daughter!! It was brand new with its tags still, in a warm cognac color and has those convertible straps that can be worn multiple ways. She was so stoked & so was I. 😍😍 I love thrifting

I found some "mom jeans" for a few dollars at the thrift store and they were the original mom jeans. I just know they came out of some grandma's closet. They even have a stretchy waist band! Literally THE BEST jeans I have ever bought lol. They just fit all my curves correctly and were made with good materials.

In summer I thrifted a Belstaff jacket for 27€!! They usually retail for 500-700€ so I was soooo pleased! The quality is amazing, I don’t think the person who had it before actually ever wore the jacket 🤍
The last thing I thrifted was a diaper bag! I had been eyeing this faux leather, black with gold hardware, diaper bag on our local Facebook Marketplace. I found it at our local thrift on Wednesday for $8, then at the till- IT WAS ONLY $4 !!!!

Thrifter here as well! My best find lately was a barely used oven for only 35 euros! We were really missing an oven in our new home and I was worrying we would have to wait a long time before we could afford one. My father in law helped us build it in to the kitchen and it works like a gem ❤

I recently found some vintage juice glasses with gold starburst designs on them at a local thrift store. I passed them up because there were only 3 but I couldnt stop thinking about them😂 I went back as soon as I could and I bought them. I love seeing them in the cupboard and the design is so beautiful.

Hey sarah! I recently fell in love with your channel. I really love your christian values and you inspire me to fall back into my routines of sharing my time with Jesus during my day. I think it would be a cool idea if you made a video centered around your opinion on alcohol and how it correlates with The Word. Also maybe share how alcohol has effected your life directly or indirectly.
I find that a lot of Christians struggle with the dilemma of how much is too much, not just alcohol but in life in general. I feel that our perspectives align and I think you have a great platform to discuss issues such as this.
My best best thrift find was just last Friday, we had a clothing exchange party in our youth group and I found a traditional dress from here in Bavaria and I’m in the process of sewing it into a long skirt💜
I love thrifting and vintage stores :) Every time I travel I always go a google maps search for thrift stores (charity shops if I’m in the UK ;-D) or vintage stores. I just really support the whole process of thrifting because fast fashion or buying new is 1.) not good for the environment and 2.) you instantly loose the market value once you buy it.
I’ve had some pretty gnarly finds and am actually setting up a running blog post on the best thrift stores in any given place that I’ve been to.
I think some of my highlights have been : an Austrian 70s suede jacket with embroidered inside that I snapped up in Vienna, a really sweet huge wall printed fabric from India that I snapped up at a charity shop in Chelsea (London), a long suede skirt I got in Aspen (which btw has one of the best thrift store ever with TONS and TONS of quality athletic clothing/camping gear/hiking stuffs).

I’m watching all of your thrift hall videos before I head out there shopping today. I have a rare morning with no kids so I am heading out through shopping, there was the first thought I had when I realized I would have the time! My last thrift fine was a pair of Birkenstocks, exactly my size and width for $3.99! They were very lightly worn and I squealed in the store and several people looked LOL it was hilarious but I would totally do it again. I’ve been wanting a pair of Birkenstocks and there they were! From watching previous videos, thank you for the tips on looking through kids toys bags and bins. I don’t usually take the time to do that but I’ll take the time and every other part of the store! We are in a bit of a toy rat right now so I will definitely be looking through those today! I think a big reason why people don’t shop is because I just don’t have the time or take the time to do it. They don’t have the patience and just want things when they want them. Also, people tend to be creeped out about items previously used or worn. It’s kind of odd but I think it might be an American culture phobia thing too. I loooove thrifting. It’s my hobby and my husband is grateful for it because we often find better quality Home goods and clothing for much less.
You've actually inspired me to START thrifting! I love it honestly...the feeling of finding super cute for cheap is exhilarating haha! For sure a thrift shopper and I love finding vintage metal toys that are in really good condition (if they are affordable, not "antique" prices) for future kids. Recently I found a 3 ft. Firetruck with working crank ladder for only $20!! I've seen the same one for $175 more than once at vintage stores.
